(this is a short follow-up to my previous journal)
During the days after the previous journal we have helped 3 new families (while continuing to assist the previous ones) and made contacts with other people willing to join the effort who have in turn helped others!
Now with all the contributions from the furaffinity/twitter and maybe other sites' people, we will be able to help a few more and for more months.
It has been very busy lately ^^, it takes a lot of time and space (house functions as a sort of warehouse for now haha), but it's going great. A couple more pics: https://prnt.sc/u4310h

So I thank deeply everyone who has donated or who helped spread the word, the impact this all makes is very tangible and needed. I understand that not everyone was able to donate and that's totally fine.

So before this gets any longer I'm going to finish it; it was great being able to use some of my reach for a positive cause and it was very surprising to see how much was given, so THANK YOU!!! <3 :D

They fled their country's crashed economies and came here to work for, at best, the minimum wage, but after the pandemic many of them have been unable to do even that, they have started running out of food, they rent tiny rooms with inflated prices in the bad parts of town with no heating, no beds and badly insulated walls from which you can see the light from outside and feel the wind.
It's also winter in this part of the world, temperatures reach the negative celsius.

Usually it's the parents who start getting skinnier first, one can see from their old pictures that they weren't always like that, but now they are forced to prioritize their scarce food for the children and pregnant women.
These are the realities in which many immigrants from Haiti, Venezuela and other places live in my town. On top of that, many have to deal with learning the language, being away from family, exploitation, and the racism of a country who is not yet used to other people.

After getting tired of the bureaucracy and inefficacy of some of the local charities ("let's do a zoom meeting next week to write down our vision xd") my family has started a small unofficial charity, in which with the help of local people we have been able to quickly help 8 families in the short and long term, by giving them food for at least a month, as well as firewood, gas, winter clothes, beds, help getting a job, contacts and hopefuly friendship!

It has been incredibly inspiring seeing the amount of people willing to help!

We would like to help more families who are going through incredibly tough times, so I appeal to your humanity and ask for a donation of any amount, and I give my word that it will be put to good use! I think we can all agree that no kid should be hungry and cold.

So I've noticed a couple of people I watch on furaffinity do play or have played Transformice in the past and it shows either in their transformicey artstyle or OC's clothing or fan art! In fact that's how I met nair. It would be great finding other players

For those who don't know, it's a great multiplayer game (can be played on browser or standalone) about mice who gather cheese (or try to survive from evil shaman mice among other game modes).

It's honestly a very fun game and I've been playing it since 2010 o.o (my account is Trig#6622 and Nair is Brochu#0000) and it will probably be the game that I'll play in my deathbed.

Also mice are so customizable that I can literally become a white umbreon mouse with gold rings!!

So maybe you've heard me hint a few times over the last 2 years that i would be starting a comic "in a few months" (besides Salvation <3), and now all the necessary months have passed and i finally have a full story thought out that I consider awesome, and a world and characters and even the first 2 pages!

This comic will be long and mostly safe for work. It might have a few lewd or adult content scenes here and there but it won't be a porn comic.
