50 watchers?
Posted 6 months agoWell, my tab has gone to 50 watchers and beyond. I had been contemplating what I would do if so many ever hit the watch button for my stuff and here is what I came up with! I’m going to do a raffle for art like I did during the Art or Treat event at the end of october. For those who would like to enter the raffle, reply to this journal with a character reference and your preference of a:
thumbs up, https://www.furaffinity.net/view/58221503/
thumbs down, https://www.furaffinity.net/view/58263901/
Or This, https://www.furaffinity.net/view/58327047/
Sticker with the character you referenced For examples of what this might look like without ducks you can check my art or treat drawings in my gallery.
Anyway, If you’re interested in a sticker you can post here with the above information. I will do the raffle drawing next monday and contact the winners shortly after. There will be three winners chosen.
Thank you all for watching and hope you keep on for a while to come.
Sincerely,
Trellian Duck

Week 45
Posted 6 months agoI hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine’s day with the best of whatever that day might bring, either loving another or loving yourself.
Or maybe a bit of both?
Anyway, week 44 saw me getting through the sketch of another transformation, a witch elf drawing, and some more duck stuff! Because ducks are after all just awesome. I also did a bit of traveling over the weekend which allowed me to do some painting with friends and finish off the final model of my Zikkit’s Tunnel pack warband for underworlds, the warlock engineer Zikkit himself!
For week 45 I want to get a colored/shaded version finished of the transformation sequence that I did with the inflatable toy. As for other goals for the week, I’d like to continue on with the wrestling duck that I started and didn’t finish last week. He got kind of pushed behind the transformation sequence, which is unfair to the fellow.
A thank you to all of those who watch, fave, comment, or even just view. Knowing that people are looking at what I’m working on keeps me going. Have a wonderful day!
Sincerely,

Week 44
Posted 7 months agoInterestingly enough, most of what would have been in this journal for the week is tied into Monday's art post. In short, this week also marks my ten month mark to having created my FA account and started posting. HOORAY!
Through that time I’ve mostly been keeping up with one post a day, even if it’s a sketch, or work in progress with very few days off. There are some I would like to thank specifically, and if you want to read about them you can see them here in this post along with the reason why I am thankful for their assistance in my journey
https://www.furaffinity.net/view/59831578/
For week 44 I’m thinking of trying out doing a rubber duck drawing as a transformation sequence. I reread some pooltoy TF stuff and I haven’t attempted a drawing like that since very early on. Everything else will just be at whim, but the rubber duck is my stated goal!
thank you to everyone who watches, faves, comments, or view my works. You keep me going week to week and month to month! I love you all.
Sincerely,
Trellian Duck

Week 43
Posted 7 months agoWeek 42 went pretty well as far as drawing weeks go, shifting to and fro where inspiration took me. I finished up a longer piece that I had started the previous week, inspired by Anthro New England and my experiences there. The two people who inspire me now have pieces drawn based upon the inspirations! Though I may draw some more stuff as it comes to my mind. The rest of this week’s drawings were mostly drawn from the whim of that day, having fun and playing with art. I am enjoying myself and what I’m doing and that’s what I want to be doing! Being able to take ideas and put them down on paper, or sometimes having an idea and figuring out HOW to put it on paper.
For week 43, I’ve gotten some inspiration for a game board that I’ve been staring at for a while. Was waffling between three ideas and finally settled on one. It should be posted up later today when I get it cleaned up/finished! Then I’ll have my matching sleeves and play board for the new season of underworlds. Other than that, my usual hopes for the week are the same. Always WANTING to do some form of transformation piece, but I’ve realized that my brain has to take me there as well as my desire to do it. I’m not going to force anything, but it’s always on my plate. Maybe some more stickers to add to my growing pile. MUAHAHAHA! I mean, yay!
Anyway, thank you to everyone who Watches, Faves, Comments, and Views on my pieces! I appreciate knowing that my work moves you in some way or another to make you stop by and hopefully enjoy it.

Week 42
Posted 7 months agoWeek 41 was post con wrap up as far as writing, and a steady work in progress inspired by the con of myself and someone I jammed with, as well as a rave puppy, a cute pose done by a model at a drawing con panel, A muscle duck pose as an anatomy study, and even a screaming duck!
Week 42 is going to be finishing up The Duo, and working on some more poses from the live model panel I went to at the con but adding in some of my own characters into the poses. Some more anatomy drawings, and maybe a transformation post.
My thanks to those who watch, fave, comment, and view for keeping me going on my goals for daily drawings/progress.

Week 41 Post con thoughts
Posted 7 months agoSo this past weekend I attended my second con! Anthro New England to be precise since there were cons going on on each coast apparently. The con portal thing was pretty cool. I got to share some quacks with folks on the other side of the country.
The experience this time was better than last time. I did some things that I hadnt thought to do/had time to do my first time around. I got the names and as much contact info as I could from people I took the time to talk to! It was such a common sense thing I could have done the first time around but I am terrible at social media and chat stuff so I simply didn’t think about it despite having been to multiple artist/similar interest events. This time though, I have a list of names of people to reach out to, as well as some additional telegram contacts more from last time.
I made some posts with pictures talking a little bit about my days. If you’re reading this then you’re probably curious about the more in depth accounting of things so here goes!
Day 1:
Friday for me. I arrived late because thursday had been a work day and it took me time to get into the car and hit the road. Then I hit every bit of construction, detours, and traffic I could find despite thinking I had left early enough to get there by 2:00 I arrived shortly before 4.
I was thankful that purchased my parking ahead of time. It made the parking experience in boston so much easier just knowing where I had to go, and let me get into the con quickly. Registration was a breeze, and then I was off to see things! The first of which was heading down to see the vendors and their wares.
I spent time hemming and hawing over a short tail that was the correct coloration for me, but finally came to feel was too fluffy for my feathered self. Made note of someone selling Foxes in Love comics, and some beautiful art/items. Of course now that I’m thinking about it, I didn’t pick up business cards from the places I was looking at. Maybe next time that will be the thing I remember to do.
After the vendors, I went to the board gaming space and took a look around. There were plenty of people playing board games, though they were mostly doing magic which isn’t something I play. Over the course of the day I checked back periodically to see what people were up to and got a game of everdell in.
I went to a sketchbook swap! But I arrived slightly late. Because of that there were no tables, and a bunch of people standing around. I caught one of these folks and did actually swap sketchbooks. By dumb luck they happened to be a bird, and both of us got bird related art in our books. The room was still full though, and I thought I’d head out and wander a bit more. I had contemplated setting up in a jam space, but they closed off the escalator down to the dealer area friday night which is where one of the two jam spaces were. The other one on the mezannine had an awesome DJ that I sat and listened to for a bit in between panels. I went to a transformation fans meet and greet and ran into
Khaze who said hello to me and really made my social night before I went to bed.
Day 2:
I had a full day to look forward to finally! Breakfast at my hotel, then the drive to the parking garage near the con, packed my cart, and made my way to the artist’s speed train which I had been flip flopping on going to because I had a marching rehearsal at 10:00 on the opposite side of the con on another floor. What made me finally decide to go was I arrived early enough to drop my cart in the rehearsal space which was a closed room and safe. If I had to carry my cart I would have just sat and waited and missed out on talking to a bunch of cool artists. I still had to leave it early, but I met a few people. From then until after the fursuit parade, I was in my musician mindset and in what is normally my professional element. Music went great! Marching was awesome! And I had a great time doing that.
Then after the parade I quickly packed up and tried getting to that bloody jam space by the vendors only to discover that there was no path I could take to get there that didn’t involve cutting through the parade route. So I stood and watched the rest of the parade. Little did I know that I was being stalked. Cutting through the crowd was a sneaky tiger
Theonelump cutting through the crowd waiting to pounce. And pounce he did. I finally got to meet someone I’d been talking to online face to face. We parted ways so I could go lead a jam session under the escalator for about 45 minutes before I went to the bird meetup. There were so many awesome bird suiters at the con! I didn’t stay until the picture becuase I wanted to get my cart back to my van, and realized I might have needed to get some food. So Bob and I went to an early dinner to beat the crowds that might disperse from the convention at regular dinner time.
The rest of the evening was spent playing a game of spearhead, chickening out of another crowded sketchbook swap… I will get my anxiety under control eventually but that night was not the night as I saw the line forming. I went to go stake out a space for the evening drawing panel with live models doing poses. It was one where I just got to sit and not interact directly with people and draw. Very much what I needed. While waiting for the panel, some other artists in the hall invited me to do another sketchbook swap rigt there in the hall, and I drew in one other person’s book. So that made for 2 sketchbook trades this con. 2 more than the last time! Improvements! That panel ended at 1:00Am though, so hotel time and bed.
Day 3: My initial plan had been to stay through closing ceremonies and some of the after parties, BUT there was snow on the horizon and I did not want to risk getting stuck if it turned out to be some crazy storm. I went to a shanty singing group in the morning and had a great time there, then went to a jam space to play and sing with a violinist named batty doing jigs, reels, the devil went down to georgia, some banana boat song, and general fun. Then I hit the vendors and picked up four volumes of foxes in love before getting in my car and making it home just as the snow began really coming down. Then I watched the bird chat and was jealous of all the hangouts I was missing, while also wondering if I would have had the energy to go and do those things.
Overall, this con was better than the last one in that I did more socializing. It’s the thing I’ve been trying to work on. Today is back to work, and wishing those who are traveling from the con today a safe drive/flight/trainride home.

Week 40
Posted 8 months agoWhat a great week number 39 was. First week getting really back to the one drawing a day and being able to focus on it the way I normally did after getting back from my holiday break.
I led it off with a werewolf sketch which I was quite pleased with. The last vestige of humanity showing through as the beast took over. I did a Dracthyr portrait, not my character in Wow exactly but I wanted practice in dragon heads, I have a plan for a piece that will require some different draconic style heads/faces which you’ll all get to enjoy later. Then there was another duck portrait, a randomly generated construct, A sketch, the 9 month mark and unveiling of the new Liz, and then a cute drawing of Liz and Alca hugging in a heart. I’m so happy to finally have a form of liz that I like the look of in comparison to what I had been doing before.
I haven’t had a week with a steady skill goal in a while, but this weekend I am going to be heading to Anthro New England! I want to go to some sketch book swaps which means getting my non-digital drawing techniques into line for week 40. As such, there will be a bit of traditional art sketches posted here this week. Need to create a variety of characters, so I’m practicing with reference sheets of folks I’ve talked to, but the only thing that will be posted here is the pieces of my own characters that I’m practicing on. Besides that, I hope to get some more Liz and Alca art out there, I have comic ideas but we’ll see if I have the time/energy for that along with the other tasks I have to do this week before the con.
Hope everyone has a wonderful week, and if you’re at ANE maybe I’ll see you there! Just look for the handsome duck in the bee vest.
To those who watch, fave, comment, and view thank you for giving me the energy to keep going and doing my daily posts!
Sincerely,
Trellian Duck

Week 39: back from vacay!
Posted 8 months agoI am back in full from my vacation! Re-energized and ready to do some more drawing! I hope everyone had a great new years eve and is as ready as I am to tackle this new year as I am. Things going on this week in the art of Trellian Duck!
I am going to be trying my hand at some more black and white pieces, maybe do something in a mid transformation vein as well since I feel like it’s been forever since I’ve done a transformation piece. Either way, I’m back! So keep your eyes here for new things. Muahaha!
Thank you to all those who watch, fave, comment, and view. You keep me going yes you do!

Week 38
Posted 8 months agoWacky week, and more travel coming up soon as I’m back on my way home, but week 37 still had some great pieces done for friends as well as some just for me.
Week 38 will be another crapshoot as I continue hanging with family and don’t know what my drawing time will be like day to day. I’m hoping to have something to post daily.
Last journal of the year, and I’m going to use it just to wish everyone a happy and safe night as well a ducky morning tomorrow after the countdown.

Traveling, and week 37!
Posted 8 months agoSooo.. onto week 37! I’m traveling out and about doing family visiting and craziness with alot of driving. I’m not going to necessarily have anything to show for the next few days, but I wish everyone a merry Xmas and Happy Hanukkah while I try to get from point A to point B now that my holiday gigs are done and the visitening can begin!
I’ll have be doing some more drawing/posting over the weekend! Breaks my every day thing, but I feel like drawing and driving is a bad idea.
Be safe out there! And thank again to those who watch, fave, comment, and view! You keep me going and doing the things that I do.
Warmest Wishes for the season

Week 36
Posted 8 months agoWell, Week 35 was a fun filled week with unexpected but enjoyable art for me. I followed Ace's advice on my week 35 and didn't force myself to do the underworlds game mat. I still want to settle on an idea for it, and don't want to rush into the creation of something that I intend to use or at least a year if not longer in my general gaming.
What I did create was a samurai duck, a video of that duck being drawn along with music, a remake of a cheerleader duck, and also some holiday gifts for some online friends, some of which weren't posted here but I hope they were all enjoyed. The combined sticker sheet was also fun in seeing what I've been doing sticker wise!
Week 36 is going to be more of the same. I have some more holiday pieces I intend to do, more random art for creating too. I hope that everyone one of you has a wonderful week and come the next enjoy time with family and friends.
Happy holiday season to all who watch, fave, comment, and view. You have kept me going and I look forward to making more for you to enjoy well into the new year!
Sincerely,
Trellian Duck

Week 35
Posted 9 months agoOh boy! Week 34 was great for my mini mania. I got my warband mostly completed, but didn’t get a chance to fully finish it off. I am most of the way done with the skaven warband’s leader which I will be showing off here once he is set. Then I go about the process of doing the edge highlights and shading on the mines. FUN FUN! Over the course of the week I did a transformation piece, finished off 2 minis, did a first draft of attempting to rework the look of an older character whose image I just want to nail down so I can make her more consistent, and even got one of my alternate style works in there too of a more embarrassing pose than I would normally find myself doing.
Onto week 35! Still need to do the game mat layout and get started on it! I have been having an artists block of… WANT TO DO IT! But I don’t know exactly what I want to do for it. I have ideas, but nothing that has made me happy yet. I’ll get something actually down beyond the token/card space layout eventually.
As always, stickers are an eternal possibility for this week. I have at least one holiday piece I’m working on as a gift for someone, and a second as well that if I have those person’s permissions will get shown. If not, then I will post other things instead, but I am happy with how these have come out so far and am looking forward to having the final versions to give!
There might be another transformation sequence, or comic, but I’m not going to force anything with how busy the week will be since it’s <drum roll> Holiday concert season! Yes, this weekend starts the first of multiple weekends of holiday concerts! It will be a quacking good time!
To those who Watch, Fave, Comment, or even just View thank you for taking your time and looking at my art. It means the world to me, and I wish you the warmest and happiest of holiday seasons.
Sincerely,
Trellian Duck

Week 34
Posted 9 months agoWeek 33 was thanksgiving week! I managed my goal of making the new card sleeves for my underworlds gaming, but between painting and making some thanksgiving drawings, I did not manage to make the new game mat for my cards and tokens. This will probably be an ongoing project into this week. I have to make sure that my personal board set up is entirely my own creations after all!
Miniature wise, I’ve begun painting the starter box for the new edition of underworlds. I like to have those painted so that when I demo the game I have everything looking nice. This will be taking up what would normally be drawing time, but painting miniatures is also art! Three down from the first warband, 2 to go. Then I’ve got three fighters in the other warband which is an elite one.
Other projects I want to get done. I want to do another transformation sequence! I haven’t done one in so long and there are a few I want to do/try. It feels like I just don’t have enough time to do everything I want to do! Which is true of any hobby when you also have to make sure you’ve got what you need done completed for your jobby. At least I enjoy my job as well.
So we’re on to week 34! As stated above in goals. Finishing the minis I want to paint! Getting an outline and work done on the game mat for underworlds! Working on another transformation sequence! Stickers and other things of course are just steady little fun projects to do that show up as I think about them.
I hope everyone has a great week. Thank you to those who watch, comment, fave, or even just view my posts. Seeing that people stop by to see my stuff keeps me going with creating things and posting. I hope you all have a wonderful week!

Week 33
Posted 9 months agoSo… what you all didn’t see on week 32 was most of the anatomy work I did. After I posted the first one, I guess I just got a little embarrassed about posting mature pieces. I did a few off on the side for myself, and the work was helpful in some of the other pieces I posted, since I do the figures and then hang clothes on them afterwards. That being said, apologies for not sharing the anatomy pieces.
What I did get done for show on week 32 was a badge for future use, another sticker, a really fun coloring experiment, and some art of Alca skiing!
This week (week 33) with thanksgiving and travel, I intend to do some painting of miniatures because I just got the new starter box for Warhammer underworlds second edition. New Skaven from my favorite best-best clan SKRYRE! Also want to do some new card art for my games. I may also design my own game mat art for the new edition too. I’m just so excited! And I just can’t hide it! I will be posting that all up as I get done. The mini painting especially. I wish everyone in the US with me a happy thanksgiving with family, whether the family you were born into or the family you found.
As always, I greatly appreciate the views, the faves, the watches, and the comments. You all keep me making art, and continuing with one drawing a day!
Sincerely,
Trellian Duck

Week 32
Posted 9 months agoOh boy! What a week week 31 was! I got some more stickers done, including an overlay. Outside of drawing I got some gaming in, and hanging out with friends which ate away a bit of my drawing time. I couldn’t pass up playing some 40k however, so I don’t regret it. This week though back to the daily grind! I was very happy with how the duck portrait from my sister’s wedding came out with the line art. Took me a while to do, but was worth the time spent on it. The Plush buddies was also a happy project for me to work on! I loved doing it so much, and playing around with the rainbow background.
For week 31, I have a new book on anatomy in drawing! I intend to play around with it, which will mean a few of those mature drawings looking at parts of the body and trying to make things look right. Also will continue to be adding to my sticker pile. Never enough of those. I am also going to be working on something to use for myself as a con badge in case the stars and planets line up to let me go to a con again in the future, though that’s more of a long term project that may not get finished this week. I want it to look right after all.
Anyway, hope everyone has a wonderful week. Thank you to everyone who watches, faves, or even just views my art. You keep me going on this drawing journey!

Week 31
Posted 10 months agoWeek 30 saw me starting to work through Taur Transformations. It was interesting doing proportions for centaurs and having to think about body connection point, as well as handling extra limbs. I still have a story I need to rewrite for one of the transformation pieces I did where the original evening writing I completed did not live up to what I thought I wrote in the morning. Overall though, it was a good drawing week where I got plenty done and enjoyed everything I drew. I did not get my music video finished, but maybe this week I’ll actually complete that project.
Speaking of this week. Week 31! Drawing on the fly this week! I have a longer term piece I will be working on in the background all week which I have been wanting to do for a while, but hadn’t had the confidence to pull off previously. now I’m going to actually go for it! Other than that, there might be some stickers, there might be a comic strip, there might be some just scenery pieces? Who knows! Wild card art week as I work on the project that. I will hopefully post before Monday. I am not going to rush it out though.
To all those who watch, fave, comment, and view. Thank you so much! You keep me going forward in my drawing. I hope you all have a wonderful week as I break into week 30 and my seventh month of being on FA.

Week 30
Posted 10 months agoWeek 29 was a crazy one! I may have had less time to draw than I thought I was going to with attending a convention. The stories of that are in my Gallery under a sort of daily photo journal though. You can read more there if you’re interested!
I managed to get my Art or Treat treats finished, but did not get a transformation sequence completed. Overall a really cool week 29! Week 30 though is going to be all about transformations! At the con I caught some fresh inspiration for a transformation type that I hadn’t considered until I went to a panel/gathering of transformation fans. I’ve dealt with feral transformation, and inanimate transformation, TG, but someone mentioned Taur transformations. My brain went. OH! That’s a really neat idea I love it and want to try it! This week’s drawings will be me trying to get a handle on that along with making a music/drawing video of my Art Or Treat treats.
Thanks to all who watch, fave, comment, and view! You have, and continue to keep me going on this journey along with my refreshed imagination.

Week 29
Posted 10 months agoLook back at week 28, it was a fun one! I got a hedgehog gamer done on monday, then a bunch of stickers to practice for art or treat, Another of my music+drawing combinations, a fall day, and finally I’ve started posting up the art or treat stickers that I’ve been doing for those who have visited my porch. All around a great week with some fun drawings even if I didn’t manage to get any larger projects done.
I also spent this week redoing my user profile to set up where I’m at, or feel that I’m at, in my journey. I set up a Ko-fi account in case anyone is eve so moved by my drawings that they want to leave me a tip/get me a cup of tea. You can find my Ko-Fi Here:
https://ko-fi.com/trellianduck/gallery
This week, week 29, I will be continuing with my art or treat prizes! So stickers galore. I would like to get another transformation sequence out this week as well.
Other exciting stuff for this week though, I will be attending my first Con! I am going to be killing my car with driving since fate decided that a performance/work would show up just in time so that I can’t simply stay in the area but have to drive back and forth. Le sigh. The duck will be there though, haunting the board game rooms and music things.
To those who watch/fave/comment/view my work. Thank you for continuing to do so! You keep me energized in this run, and I’m grateful for your support.

Week 28
Posted 10 months agoWhew.. well, last week was another busy one for me musically with a bit of a free for all. I didn’t get as many of the drawing goals I wanted to do done, but I did complete another transformation piece, and a follow up artwork/story to go along with that. Despite saying I wanted to do other character stickers, I got caught on my duck again, and of course I finished up the second map I had been working on for the birthday board game bash.
This week, I am seriously going to be doing the alternate stickers to practice for this weekend where my porch is going to be open for Art or Treat! I am going to be setting up separate journal posts for those.
To those who watch, fave, comment, and view Thank you! You keep me going with my daily drawings, even if on weeks like the last one I get a little bit off task. This week I will be pumping out alternate stickers based on the three bases I’m offering up for art or treat, I promise!
Have a ducking good day.

Week 27
Posted 11 months agoWell, week 26 was definitely interesting. I got to try my hand at being a cartographer, as well as making the decision to join in on a seasonal art game, Art or Treat!
While I had no expectations for last week, for this week, week 27, I do have particular goals in mind. I would like to do another transformation piece, and I am working on the second map for the project that I mentioned last week. I would also like to spend some time this week drawing characters besides just Trellian. I’ve been drawing alot of him lately in stickers. I think someone else deserves some attention in the same way so I can get lots of reps in drawing them/making them shine. It will also be a good bit of practice for making stickers for Art or Treat.
If you want to join in on art or treat either as an artists, or just looking for treats, you can follow this link here for more information.

Week 26
Posted 11 months agoWeek 26! Coming into my Monday exhausted and busy, but still eager to do some drawing!
In the last week I put together another sticker sheet, although two stickers shy of the previous week’s, I think my previous sticker sheet had a few extra days of sticker creation anyway to make out the ten. This one was only an eight sheet with the final sticker of the scared duck being completed today.
Aside from the stickers, I also managed both a transformation sequence AND a comic strip in week 25. If I can be that productive again I’ll be so happy! But that’s… not likely for this week. Maybe a future one!
For week 25 though, I have some practicing/additional work I need to do on the music side of things and that will always take precedence over drawing. With that in mind, it will be a bit of a free for all week with no particular theme besides maybe some fall appropriate art.
Thank you to those who watch, fave, comment, or even just view. It makes me happy to know that others are seeing and reacting to my art one way or another.

Week 25
Posted 11 months ago25 weeks! Holy Cow!
Recap of week 24, it was a week of sticker expressions. I am very happy that I made enough of them that I was able to fill a sizable sticker sheet. I know I still have more I want to make, but I ended the weekend with another work that I had been putting off because of fear of making a kilt pattern, the Kilted duck! I am incredibly happy with the way that it all came out and I loved working on the week.
For week 25: I am going to be continuing with the stickers. As I said there are more I want to do and I’m hoping to have enough by the end of the week to fill a second sheet. They also give me good upper body/ head expression practice for comic strips. Speaking of which, the second goals is I am also going to be putting out another comic strip page for Panics The Duck. So keep your eyes on here for that!
Thank you to those who Watch, Fave, Comment, or View. You have kept me going this far and I look forward to the next month, and next week ahead towards the new year.

Week 24
Posted 11 months agoWeek 23 went pretty well for hands. I did some more drawings using feathery fingers, and also made use of hands holding objects alongside some pretty straight forward hand studies straight out of the books I’m using. I am going to be meeting with an art teacher to refine that further down the road though. I don’t know what it is about hands and hand positions that throws me off so much regardless of what books I’m taking the drawing from or how many times I’ve seen references, but it never looks right to me.
Regardless, I am happy with the drawings I made this week. A trend I would like to continue which I’ve been enjoying is making the emote stickers I’ve been doing. So… Week 24 focus will be just that! It’s a project I’ve been wanting to do/enjoying alot, and it will also help with the upper body posing I’ve been having some issues with as well.
Thank you to everyone who watches/faves/comments or even just views my art. You help keep me going and have helped bring me into week 24. Onward and upward!
