At Megaplex 2014, I met this canine fursuiter named Zander (sp?) who really admired how the pine marten in his french maid outfit. He really made me feel appreciated and I've been looking for him since.

It doesn't look like I'll be attending MFM this year. I've not been able to find anybody interested in roomsharing with me there, either because they have their own roomsharing plans already established or they are not going to MFM either.

Unless an opportunity presents itself, I'll be writing MFM off this year.

I've been driving my Subaru Outback for many years now and have been quite happy with it, but it is getting old and requiring more maintenance. I've been mulling over the possibility of buying a new car. Given that I am finally doing well after two difficult years, I'm of a mind to splurge this year.

As a result, I'm thinking of buying the Subaru WRX STi hatchback. I've already test driven the 6-speed manual transmission, 305-hp all wheel drive car and it is quite fun to drive, especially in the winding back roads of Upstate New York. I'll probably test drive it one or two more times to get a better feel for it just to be sure.

I've also been trying to gather information on upcoming trends for the STi, and am wondering if I should buy this year or wait.

Thinking about the future, I've been applying to companies in the United Kingdom with the thought of emigrating there.

I've looked for engineering positions fitting my qualifications, but I sometimes wonder if I'm wasting my time. What are my chances that a British company will be willing to hire me and sponsor my application for a work visa to allow me to work for them in the UK?

I have accepted a job offer for a 6 to 12 month contract engineering position in Rochester, NY. I will be moving there towards the end of this month.

I will be visiting friends in Portland, Oregon this week and will be staying until Monday the 18th of February.

I will be in San Francisco from the 5th through 11th of February visiting friends, and will be bringing my fursuit and all my bondage and latex gear.

With the lack of interest in latex parties and nobody bring latex, I've decided not to bother bringing any of my rubber gear. I'll just fursuit at Mephit Fur Meet.

I have decided to go ahead with it. I am commissioning a custom-designed latex maid's dress that I'll wear over my catsuit. It will be the traditional black and white arrangement, with white ruffling for the arms and apron. It will also include a latex neck corset, white gloves, and white thigh-high socks held up by a suspender belt. I've found some black knee-high PVC boots with 5" heels that will have white lacing. I'll also have a true waist-cinching rubber corset that will be made to match the dress.

I found what looks to be an excellent corset maker in Pennsylvania who has developed some innovative corset designs specifically for men. Best of all, I found a very excellent latex garment maker to design and make my latex maid's dress who is only 80 minutes away in Miami, and I met with her yesterday at her place to be measured and discussed maid dress designs.

It has been doing well, and has not been tampered with by any meddlesome administrator. The same cannot be said of the same exact gallery here on Fur Affinity.

What was once allowed was then ruled unacceptable, and then allowed again (latex pictures). Originally, blank submissions with links were allowed. Now they are not.

I have grown weary of trying to follow rules that keep changing and are selectively enforced. I know I am not the only one who feels like this. The 62 deleted submissions in my Favorites gallery are a testament to all the other galleries out there that have also been meddled with.

In the past, I have given my best effort to comply with their rules. At this point, I will no longer bother trying. I have better things to do than try to satisfy the whims of such people.

I'm putting together a custom latex maid's dress to wear over my catsuit. I have already gotten some high-heeled boots to go with hit, and will have a matching corset made as well.

I will be once again attending MFF this year. I plan to bring my pine marten fursuit and all my latex gear and hope to have a good time and be yiffed too. There are some I already consider good friends and will very likely raise my tail for them if they are interested. ;)

I am once again uploading latex photographs. They may, or may not be within the AUP. I really don't know anymore given the ever-changing policy on what is acceptable. Even if it is acceptable by the current AUP, who's to say that will not change in the future. They've changed it in the past and I expect they will change it again.

So as I previously stated in an earlier journal entry, I am no longer uploading any pictures directly to FA, but am instead just leaving links to the pictures on my rubberfurs.org gallery.

To any FA Admin out there reading this, I am doing this for your benefit. You no longer need to concern yourself about what is acceptable since it is not being uploaded to FA.

I've been debating as to where I should move my art, fursuit bondage, and perhaps even my latex pictures too, though I have moved my latex pictures already to rubberfurs.

Two months ago, my account was suspended for 72 hours without warning. Apparently, one of my fursuit pictures which had been uploaded 4 months earlier was unacceptable in the eyes of a member of the AUP Police and removed. The picture in question was one similar to this one:

Yet this picture still in my gallery was not removed.

I happened to have an older account that I had not used in years and used it to send an inquiry as to why my account was suspented. This was the reply:

That mask was definitely a sex toy, and even if you don't want to classify it as that, it was fetish gear and thus still mature.

To which I replied:

I noticed that one picture was deleted, but the other pictures with the leather mask were not. Does that mean the other pictures are acceptable then?

I do sincerely try to abide by the AUP, but the various, INCONSISTENT interpretation by members of the FA staff really makes it difficult. So imagine my shock when the account was suspended without any warning or request to remove the picture (which had been posted 4 months ago).

If you do a keyword search of "Fursuit & Gag", you will get multiple hits, even from pictures that were on FA for up to 3 years.

I reviewed *again* the AUP. There is no restriction on fetish gear. The words "fetish gear" are not even mentioned anywhere:

I've seen many pictures of fursuits in masks, gags, harnesses, leather cuffs, collars, and corsets (some would consider that fetish gear) posted by various members of FA.

A fewer lines down, I read the following:

"Due to general community interest, we permit users to post images of furry conventions or fursuits with lessened restrictions."

I got no reply to my counterargument. I doubt I'm the only one who has come to the conclusion that the AUP Police has lost a lot of its credibility from such arbitrary and erratic actions.

So, I've decided to relieve the FA administration from all such concerns. Any future pictures I take, I will upload elsewhere and simply post a link here to said pictures. I've checked the AUP again, and found nothing against posting links.

Because of a new wave of intolerance on FA that now outlaws fetish gear, I have also migrated to my rubberfurs gallery (http://www.rubberfurs.org/user/trav.....stian/gallery2) all my anthropomorphic latex pictures that were previously uploaded to FA. In their place within my FA gallery, I have left a link to each picture.

The more explicit pictures (i.e. with latex cock-n-ball sheath) are in sub-folders and on my Fetlife account, both requiring a login.

This past weekend, Freyglow and I attended Fetish Weekend in Fort Lauderdale. While not furry, it was definitely a fun time to be had. We both went out on parties on Friday and Saturday nights, though we decided to not go on Sunday night and instead had fun in the pool that evening.

I have this unfulfilled sexual fantasy that I've always dreamed about. I would love to sleep with partner who would suck me to climax while I was asleep. I always imagined that it would induce a wet dream. It would definitely be a nice dream to wake up from, only to find yourself climaxing to a warm, wet, suckling sensation.

I like making new friends and meeting new furs. I really do. The problem lately is that it is getting harder for me than ever to remember who is who and from what list or website they know of me.

I am a member of FA, Fetlife, Rubberfurs.org, and a few other lists. I've met many new furs online in the last few months and even quite a few in RL last weekend at FC. Most that I meet know who I am, but dammit! Why is it that I can't remember half of the furs I meet or remember where I saw their name before? It gets overwhelming at times, and I feel bad sometimes when I can't remember them.

I had a wonderful time overall. I got a new PVC dress made by Misc Etc, an vendor in the Dealer's Den that I had previously contacted a an earlier con. The dress was completed and now fits quite nicely over the pine marten fursuit and works well with the corset I wear. I also premiered a new leather head and muzzle harness to go with the rest of the bondage leather I have for the pine marten. Hopefully, I'll have some pictures soon.

I also made new friends at MFF. Lil Chi Wolf and her mate were wonderful and made me feel welcomed. I also met a nice lady named Ferel on Thursday. Unfortunately, in all the crowds of comings and goings of MFF, we never did tag up again. There was also another lovely lady named Cloe. We met Sunday evening and chatted quite a bit before she had to leave for her journey home. Lauralioness is also another nice fur I met. We even tried to instigate a furpile, though without much success.

I also got to meet quite a few of the rubberfurs, many of which I have known about here in Fur Affinity and also on Fetlife.

I now have Further Confusion 2011 to look forward to.

I had all my roomsharing arrangements made. I was going to roomshare with 3 other furs. Then one had to cancel. That is understandable. Sometimes things don't work out.

Then the second roommate books his own room without notifying the fur who originally booked the room for the 4 of us. I've tried to contact that fur to know what is going on, but I've not gotten a reply.

Communication is important. We need to make sure we are on the same page on who is roomsharing with who. That is not happening here and I no longer have confidence in my roommates for MFF.

There's only a month left and I am now looking for new roommates.
