So they gave me an Ultrasound today, they told me that its a Swollen Lymph Node, so I don't need to a see a dentist now.

I still need to take the IV antibiotics though, so I still need to go to the hospital 3 times a day.

I got to go at 3 and 11 this evening, as well as 8, 3 and 11 tomorrow.


Also work got pissed at me this morning for calling in like a half hour before I started, didn't even ask if I was ok. I had no way to contact them before then since I was in the hospital with no signal. So now I am going to get scolded the next time I go in to work for calling in with like no notice. for today.

I was in the hospital, and you get pissed at me instead of asking if I am ok. Thanks assholes.

I've had a lot of people ask me about this recently so I figured making a post about this would be a lot easier on everyone.

Basically a month ago or so I started having crazy flu like symptoms (Chills, Fever, Weakness of body), and since that night my mouth has been fairly sore and I've been swollen in my jaw under my problematic tooth. So essentially I've been in pain and unable to eat most food for the majority of a month

I went to the ER about a week after that after the pain was starting to get worse (gargling salt water, ice cubes in my mouth, stuff like that) to get something to treat it with since I couldn't afford a dentist at that time. I was prescribed 600mg of Penicillin every 6 hours for 10 days.

That worked for a while but the antibiotics stopped working most of the way through my treatment. I ran out of that a few days ago, and since then I've become a lot more swollen, from a little lump to ping pong ball sized.

I woke up this morning after having trouble sleeping to it being a lot worse and me shaking (I've been trying to hold out until tuesday which is when the dentist is open again, now that I have the money to go to the dentist)
 xanderzyzzyx was nice enough to drive me this morning.

Anyway, after waiting a while there, they prescribed me an IV medicine called Clindamycin and a painkiller called Percocet.

The Clindamycin will involve me going to a clinic across town 8pm tonight, 8am tomorrow morning and sometime in the afternoon tomorrow (probably more appointments after that).
Xander and another friend are going to help me out with getting there too. I can't thank them enough.

As for the Percocet that will involve me taking it every 6 hours, and it will make me very woozy and unable to work with any kind of machinery or tools. So anything besides being a cashier at work is a no go (which was a given with having the IV in my hand in the first place), not that I have any hours this week as it is, which is kind of good since it won't interrupt my clinic schedule.
Also they cause crazy constipation so its going to be a rough few days.

Anyway, I am going to try to hit up the dentist tuesday and get this tooth taken out, and with me on this medication hopefully it'll all go away in due time.


I just want to not be in pain anymore.

I'm trying to get two of my characters drawn with somewhat fat looking faces, or a fat themed icon but I've had zero luck with it through twitter or my own scouting, so I figured I'd post a journal to see if I can find anything this way. x3;

Room mate just got hired so looks like my situation is looking up now. I think everything should be ok now. Hopefully I can find alternative work soon. He actually got hired somewhere I really really wanted to be hired at that didn't take me, but I'm happy for him finally finding work.

I'll do my best to explain my situation as clearly as I can, so I'll start from the beginning.

I moved to Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada nearly a year from now with the help of my current room mate.
He got me employment at the work he had at the time and we both worked there for the first 5 months I lived here with me paying him back the expenses he paid for me to move here.

After I finished paying him off and he had a lot of money saved up, the work supposedly became too stressful for him so he quit, and said he'd find more work a few weeks after he left. He didn't start looking until 4 1/2 months later, or a month and a half ago from now.

He has had no luck finding work.


As for me, I'm still 'working' at the same place, but after he left I was forced into a promotion I didn't want that drove me insane and incredibly depressed. I stepped down after 3 months, which was at the start of january.

Since then work has not treated me very well. They don't give me the hours I request anymore, usually way less. I have to give 150% whenever I work or else they give me an incredibly hard time since they expect way too much out of me compared to other people who work there. I'm constantly talked down at in a very in-dignifying way and just generally treated like garbage compared to the rest of the employees that work at my current employment right now.

All because I stood up for myself instead of being forced to be something I'm not and to improve my health. While I was a manager my shifts usually consisted of 4~6 3pm~12am shifts and 2 10:30pm~7:30am shifts, getting off work at 7:30am on my day off and then having to go back in on my next work day at 3pm. It wrecked havoc on my availability, sleep and health rather severely.
I know I've heard of people go through worse then this but I can only imagine how much more exhausted they were then me in the same situation.

They have been slowly trying to replace me and its at the point that they essentially have, I only have 10 hours this week. Every manager at my work place knows what kind of expenses I have and know I can't live off of what they are giving me. My availability is rather open too, the only day that I don't have open is sundays so that I am guaranteed one of the days of the weekend off. My availability is from 8am until 3am, and I'm still only getting nibblets of hours now.

I have around $600 in monthly expenses (1200 split between my room mate and I) I can't pay that with such few hours a week.

Like my room mate, I have started looking for alternate employment but it looks incredibly bleak at the moment and I'm pretty much almost out of time.

My room mate has run out of money and I am not making enough money to sustain myself so by the end of april or may I don't think I'll even have a place to live.


I have some taxes I can file to get back a rather decent return that I can use for expenses like moving or rent and such if I were able to find somewhere to go, but currently that is my problem. I don't have anywhere to go at the moment.

Basically what I am asking is if people could spread the word that I'm looking for somewhere to go in either Alberta or British Columbia (the former preferred, easier of a move distance wise, but I'm not against the later).

I'm usually not a desperate person but this situation is getting to the point to where I'm basically on a sinking ship without any life boats and I need another ship to come along and help save me. (If that makes any sense)



I'm not going to ask anyone for donations or anything, as much as the money could be of help, I have that tax return to file and I can use that for emergency expenses that I need to take care of.

I had a breakdown recently of the social type, of people treating me like shit, as usual.

I purged a lot of people from my contacts that I either didn't talk to at all or haven't spoken to in a rather long time.

So my work decided to stop giving me hours now that I dropped from manager and changed my availability, since they don't really want me anymore it seems.

I worked my ass off for 9 months for these pricks who don't know how to run a restaurant just to have them do this to me.

So I might open commissions soon if anyone is interested.

Alright, so I spent my entire 7 day work week busting my ass more then I have in months to prove that I am worth keeping, that includes doing everything so quickly that I have time to do the next shift's work, like doing our lettuce prep on late night or cleaning out fryers during the evening when its morning and late night's jobs for each of those respectively.

I worked like I was passionate about my job still, and I guess it was noticed.

They're offering me $10.50 an hour, at the price of having to start on probation again.

There is another place that seemed really interested in me when I went in there yesterday that I would rather work at, that I will look into first. I haven't given my answer to my current employer yet.

I should get the hours that I want this way, at least. So things should be ok.

Last month I asked for my hours to be reduced because of stress, gave them an availability, they said no.

Then they make me work 6 days, then 7 days in a row (there was time off between them at least), and I get one day off before I work another 5.
None of it counts as overtime by the way, at my work our work week starts at 3am on friday morning, so my current 7 day work week I am just finishing up now was split up 24/40 (including my shift on thursday).


I asked/demanded to be demoted a week ago because I can't handle the stress, lack of decent pay and the lack of proper training they are giving me.

They forced me to put in a 2 weeks notice because the higher ups don't do demotions apparently. Then was asked to bring in a new application and resume.

At the time I talked to my store manager about this, he said it would be a for sure thing that I could stay.

Then they turn around and say maybe the day after I bring in the notice.

I have still yet to hear if I am being kept or not, and my notice has already been in for a week already.

Worst part is this is all legal with Alberta Legislation. I called them up and asked about the availabilities, the work weeks and them switching from "yes" to "maybe". Its all legal.


I am very hard worker at work, I am constantly getting everything done as best as I can, and then doing tasks for the next shift (Things like cleaning out the deep fryers for late night or preparing lettuce for the morning depending on what shift I am on, both of these can take an hour or more to do)

I don't just sit around and do nothing all day, I actually do my job and try to do it right, which is why I was forced into being a manager 3 months ago, but they're expecting me to be trained properly when they only give me like 4~6 hours a week (usually less, which is tiny compared to my usual 44-63 hour work weeks) to read a book (digital book that can only be used on the work office computer, so I can only read it at work) in order to get through my training.

I am also the least paid manager at my work. Being paid 0.50 less then our only other non Assistant manager, and being paid a dollar less then one of the assistant managers (who isn't really the assistant manager since she was returned to just a regular manager after another AMO came in)

I am also the only manager who has to give up my time off just to be able to make it into my shifts the next work week. I get off work at the end of all my work weeks at 7am~7:30am because of always working late nights at the end of my work weeks. Then I usually have to be up by 10am or 2pm on my days back. So I have to completely switch my sleep schedule within two days, after just switching it back. Which completely ruins any free time I could possibly have.
That is incredibly unhealthy and I don't wish anyone else to have to go through constant sleep schedule shifting just to work.

I have been venting to my store manager for months now through emails about the stress and the conditions in which I am being 'trained' and he knows I have been unhappy with the treatment, its their own fault that I don't want to be a manager anymore, but they are quite likely to just let me go because I am not willing to be a manager for them anymore, despite how hard I do actually work when on shift.

I just want to be crew again, even with my pay reduced, doesn't mean I wouldn't still work hard as a crew. I just want my free time and my life back, I didn't sign up to be treated like this by my work. I do not appreciate working 6~7 days a week.

There are so many people at my work that would be really upset to see me go, I'm a very fun person to work with while also still getting everyone to work hard and enjoy their shifts, so they're giving up a huge asset giving me up if they do end up letting me go. Even one of the two AMOs I mentioned earlier said they are upset about the current situation and don't want me to go.

I am going to be throwing out some resumes in the morning after I work late night tonight, I have been working 7 days in a row after tonight so I haven't had time before now to go out and bring anything out anywhere.

There used to be another manager who defended me all the time when I was crew, she left right before I was promoted (which is why I was promoted), I really miss her, she always defended my rights and never let them bull shit me like this.

Hopefully things work out.

So, lets just move this package from this state/province that is closer to the destination, to the very south of the country just so we can send it back up this direction again.

I am tired of people taking advantage of my kindness, treating me like I am not there, giving nee the cold shoulder, acting like nothing is wrong.

I am always going out of my way to bit games and arty for people I really care about, telling them how much I appreciate them, just to have them ignore me, not talk to me or even acknowledge my existence.

I am tired of people ditching me when their usual friend they do stuff with come on and won't give me the light of day even though there is no reason they should need to stop talking to me.

I am not even sure who even considers me a friend or a close friend anymore, I don't feel appreciated or liked by nearly anyone,I just feel like I am just some person that must exists to be pushed around and pushed away.

I am done trying to make people happy, I am done buying shit for people out of the blue,I am done being a nice guy, I am done trying to be everyone's friend.

I work 90 hours every two weeks as a Manager at my work, I don't come home every day to be treated like that one guy everyone pretends to like and be ignored after I stressed myself out all day because of how shit of a job and how shit I get paid for all my hard work.

In another news, my job is still a load of shit. haha

Work still keeps me pretty busy and not online too much, makes it hard to find people to commission and such, but its not like its a necessity anyway.

My schedule has become much more stable since the last journal I made about my work, though that will slightly change as I was just promoted from crew to Shift Manager.

Officially as of today when I finished my Servsafe Food Handling Manager Training Exam I was promoted. I'll be trained for 5 shifts this week from wednesday until sunday and then I'll be on my own after that.

Unfortunately to get me started on my manager work, I've been placed on late night shifts.

I do however have every monday and tuesday off now indefinitely as far as I know.


In november I'll be put onto a 3 evenings, 2 late nights a week for my work schedule. So my availability online will shift depending on the day from being something like 4pm until 10pm MST, and 12am until 8am MST.

Unfortunately the promotion is only netting me an extra dollar, and another extra dollar once I finish another training course over the next few weeks, no other benefits what so ever. I'm just going with the promotion for the sake of getting the experience on my resume of being a Manager. I did it in 5 months too which is fairly impressive in my opinion.


Anyway, outside of work, not much has gone on. Just figured I'd let people know how things have been going, its hard to keep up with most people anymore because of my strange hours of availability.

So basically as I said I was being screwed our of having my birthday off on the 11th, and when one of the managers that really likes me confronted the scheduling manager about it, she gave reasons that were not part of burger king's policy and then said only two people can book a day off at one, which she proceeded to point out there was only two people booked off.
So now I have my birthday off, although the scheduling manager took revenge in making work 7 days in a row with only one day off before working another few, but oh well, I am just more then happy to have my birthday off.

Illegally of course, they won't let me book it off because it happens to fall on a wednesday.

I work at burger king, so every wednesday is a discount on Burger King's staple burger the whopper, and since they don't want to work around me booking it off, they're making me work it even though they can't deny me taking a day off that hasn't been scheduled yet.

Yay for hypocrite jobs.

I am looking to get a ref sheet done of my current sona  misterstone

I need someone who is able to draw large builds, (muscle,fat,etc)

I am looking to get a flat colored and inked front and back view of my character, a shot of my character's genitalia on the side along with a close up view of the face to show off the facial features. Some color references on the side too, but that's a given.

I don't have a fantastically huge price range, but I'm willing to go up to about $80 at most.

I am not willing to hire someone who is not willing to let me be part of the process by not letting me see progress and make revisions. Its a character reference, and if I can't be part of the process like a few other offers I've been given, then I can't use it as a reference if something isn't done right, and that is not fair nor right.
