★ Commission Terms of Service ★

This will be my official and detailed Terms of Service sheet until otherwise stated; please make sure you read and understand all that is stated to avoid any issues in the future, thank you! Any major updates to this ToS, I will make a note about, for the time being, the ToS may be subjugated to minor fixes here and there. Upon paying me for a commission, you are acknowledging / agreeing to the following information:
➤ My entire Terms of Service.
➤ You are AT LEAST 18 years old.
➤ All participating character owners are consenting of their/your character being drawn.
➤ Work on the commission will not begin UNTIL full payment has been received.
➤ The payment goes towards my labor, not only towards the artwork itself.
In your form / message, please also let me know any of the following, if applicable:
➤ If the commission is intended as a gift and should be kept as a surprise until a certain time.
➤ If you need the commission done by a certain date.

What I WON'T Draw
Cubs/Minors at all, Extreme Hyper, Obvious NonCon, Ferals/Quadrupeds, Scat, Flatulence, Diapers, Watersports, Gore/Violence, Fanart/Rule34
Anything else should be fine, feel free to ask me beforehand if it's a concern.
Payment
➤Payment is only accepted through PayPal.
When commissioning me, you are expected to send me your PayPal email so that I may send you an invoice.
***As of November 2020, I untilize the "Google Forms" function to take commissions when I am open.
References
I do not require formal reference sheets in order to commission me, though they are very much preferred. However, you must have art already available of your character, and anything not shown in the characters art MUST be mentioned before hand. Skin/Flesh/Genitalia color tones, if not previously mentioned or shown in reference photos, will be picked from inner ear color / mouth color.
My Original Character's
➤Feel more than welcomed to ask for a commission with any of my own characters. They can can be paired with your own, or you can commission me to draw my characters in a way you'd like.
Uploading
➤The commissioner has every right to upload their commission anywhere they may please SO LONG AS credit to me as the artist is given in the description. Otherwise, do not feel intimidated or concerned on whether or not you can upload the work.
Anonymous Commissions
➤I ALWAYS upload the work I create. I do not accept commissions that the client would want it to be not uploaded by me. I will gladly keep your name out of the description and labeled as "anonymous" so long as you inform me beforehand. Please respect that art is my advertisement, and with that being said, I will not remove any art from my gallery.
WIPs / Edits & Changes
➤All commissioners are entitled to seeing a preview of your commission if it is requested!
I do NOT give this option for "Doodle" commissions
➤For all of my commissions (with the exception of "Doodles"), the commissioner is given a rough sketch of their idea or my own idea if artistic freedom is given. Once the sketch is eventually approved I will create a cleaned sketch/line art of the approved rough draft and send it to the commissioner for a final approval, only smaller edits are allowed at this stage. After this, I tend to work from then on until the piece is finished. It is up to the commissioner to message me for updates and work in progress' (WIPs). I do not go out of my way to update the commissioner unless I have questions regarding the piece, or unless I must update them on the progress of their commission (for example, if the commission ends up taking a bit longer, I will always update).
➤If you know you are a picky commissioner, please know what you want in the highest detail you can conjure. I can only tolerate so many fixes and alterations.
If I make a mistake on things such as color or details, or forget anything, then I know I am at fault and will fix it so long as you tell me!
➤Please under NO circumstance edit the piece yourself. This defaces my work and may hurt my reputation as an artist by altering the style of my work. Please contact me for edits if they are necessary. If you edit the work received from me in a way that is clearly noticeable, I will be hesitant on accepting a commission from you in the future. I do make notes of all of my clients I've worked with.
➤If I have not started on the commission, you have the right to change your idea. Do not be afraid to approach me regarding that. After I have started working however, I refuse as that would mean including an extra fee which I do not accept.
Time Limit
➤I take commissions by the month when I do take commissions. Meaning I will attempt to finish your commission within that month. If it spills over into the next month, I will always update the commissioner on this. I am usually very good at knowing how many commissions I am able to take in a single month, thus meaning it is only on rare occasions, or if something comes up in my personal life, that means a commission will spill over into the next month. Please do not rush me as it negatively impacts my view on you as a commissioner and will make me hesitant to accept a commission from you again in the future. The same is if you are messaging me very frequently on updates.
➤If you need your commission done by a certain date [such as a birthday gift], I will do my best to abide by that date.
Completion of Commission
➤When I complete a piece, the (user)name on the commission will be marked off as "Complete" on my Trello. I do not upload the commission until the commissioner has very obviously received the commission and needs nothing to be fixed.
➤After the piece is completed, I always allow things to be fixed. However, large changes I refuse, these should have been consulted in the early stages. You may always ask for any change, as it does not hurt to try and I enjoy when my client has the highest available satisfaction, but that does not guarantee I will be okay with the change.I no longer accept "alt versions" after the piece has already been completed.
Refunds
➤Money can and will be refunded only based on how much work has already been put into the commission. If I have not started on the piece at all, I will refund you in full.
Copyright
➤ I retain copyright to every one of my works of art that I produce and can do what I'd like with them, how I please. However, I will also respect the commissioners rights and the rights to their original character(s).

Posted 6 years agoBut as of writing this, my family of four has $15 in the bank (including savings) and has relied on credit cards to buy stuff as they haven't been able to get paid for a while and won't get paid for probably another week! (And our shower has a bad leak that requires taking down the wall to fix! yayy!)
