So today is the hottest day of the month, so far. A scorching 96°F, and not a cloud in the sky. This morning I got up, got dressed, felt great, fantastic, tired. Dressing up meant a good start to the day. Grabbed my shit, got out the door. Started the car, went to school.

The usual.

Got to class, got compliments on my outfit. Ace day so far. Even got three vector illustrations day! Awesome.

I decided to leave about 30 minutes early since I was starting to get a killer headache. Headed outside, tossed my shit in my hades hot car, stuck the key in the ignition and….. nothing?

Car wouldn’t start. Not even a chug. Okay, no big deal… I tried again. Still nothing. Head inside to ask for help from some classmates, had to move my car OUT of its current parking spot since it wasn’t accessible. Zero power steering and going neutral on a hill.

Fucking. A.

I thought i was gonna crash my car.

Got the heavy bastard into not one, but two spaces since the thing nearly ran off, tried jumping it with a friend’s jeep. Nope, not even an attempt to turn over.

Here comes friend number two with a HUMMER. Oh yeah, if this thing doesn’t do the job, I’m boned. Click, click, turn the key and…

the deafening sound of silence.

Great.

I wound up having to call mom then call AAA. Tow truck driver said he thinks it’s the ignition switch do to GMC’s “piss poor design… no offense”.

So… yeah. The universe saw I was having a good day and decided that was a no go :U

Hey all. Hope you guys had a great holiday and got lots of goodies. I enjoyed a nice dinner with the family, talking about past relatives and other cool things. Turns out our family is related to Arthur Middleton, one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence. Cool cool stuff.


As far as gifts go I got so much stuff, goodness. A hufflepuff scarf and 3 loose house crest badges with it, tooons of doctor who, and even a Hawkeye action figure to display! The biggest gift though was the biggest surprise; my parents bought me a new computer! A Dell XPS 8500 so I can work on my Design projects from school and not have the computer freeze.

Also F5 to see the new icon by  FatalSyndrome !

I can now actually be stress free
