A few things to clear up:

The 30% will remain this way, it will not increase. Don't worry.
The +$5 an hour is strictly every hour after my usually 1 hour turn around for simple work. The following hours are strictly working hours and any time not spent at the desk will not be counted. Unless the work is extra complex, this shouldn't be but $10 at most (this per hour fee will be paid after the work in completed, base price is still up front).

The color scheme limit is mostly pointed towards the characters that look like a walking rave (sorry). It takes a long time to color something like that. Complex armor usually takes me two hours by default to do line work on, so thus why it falls under this new fee.

The rise in price was a long time coming, but I was just unsure of how to go about it without spooking you guys, but I finally decided to go through with it. Please feel free to ask if you have any questions about the new prices and policies.

I will be updating my commissions sheet in the next few days with a $5~10 increase on several items.

This is mostly due to an issue with the amount of work being put into certain drawings causing an underpayment problem. I really want to just be able to match the price without having to lower my quality. Apologies. Prices will be officially up no later than Sunday (1/5/14)

I've been getting a lot of these comments on my robots/tv heads both here and elsewhere and since this is my bigger base, here is where I post this.

My robots are not Canti/Kanti from FLCL. Unless I explicitly state that the drawing is fanart in the tags or title or description, please do not call my robots Canti/Kanti.

It's super discouraging when I spend a couple hours on something, only to have it whittled down to something unoriginal in one comment. It makes me feel like my personal designs are nothing more than copying n already existing an idea, and even worse makes me think you guys think that! I"m not one to normally make a big thing out of comments but... yeah.

Having your original design taken as fan art of an existing franchise is not a good way to ensure that particular thing continues to be drawn, and I love drawing my robots and TV heads. Its just frustrating.

Sorry again if anyone feels singled out or thinks I"m whining, but these are just my thoughts.

My monitor's been replaced, we had the damage assessed by the insurance company, and almost every HDMI port in the house got utterly fried.

We replaced a few things today [my monitor, my brother's computer, our blu-ray for downstairs].

So... yeah. :U;

both my monitors are malfunctioning :/
