Once upon a time, in a land down under, there lived a little green dingo who loved to draw furries. She attended many furry cons as a dealer, drawing a lot of fursonas and prided herself on delivering a professional and fast service. At every convention her gaze would cast upon the Guest of Honors table, where she would fantasize and wonder what it would be like to have such prestige bestowed upon her, maybe one day? Who could possibly know what the future could hold? It could happen right?

One day the dingo decided to leave her home state in search of more furry conventions. Her travels brought her to a little con in Melbourne called Confurgence where she set up shop with her convention badges and other wares.

While at confurgence the dingo was approached by a shark (to which the dingo was quite wary as she was generally quite afraid of sharks). The shark asked if he may commission a badge from her, and the dingo obliged.

At the end of the convention all the dingo wanted to do was relax with friends after a hard weekend of work. So she retreated towards a room party with her friends the skunk, the white tiger, the malamute and a few others.

In the hallway on her way to the room she bumped into the shark. She cheekily complimented him on his badge and they started talking. The dingo feeling much more relaxed around the shark now, knowing he wasn't going to bite her- probably because his badge turned out very nicely- asked the shark where he was from to which the shark responded, "well miss dingo, I come from a land called Perth!". The dingos face lit up. Before going to confurgence, she had already planned to go to Perth for another convention. "Are you going to West Aussie Fur Frenzy??" She asked the shark to which he responded with a laugh, "Silly dingo! Of course I'm going to WAFF! I'm the chairman!" The dingos face turned a shade of bright red as they both laughed it off and headed to the room party.

When the dingo finally got back home to Brisbane she messaged the shark over telegram and offered to help out with his new convention. She was excited, of course, especially now that she knew her friends were going! Then something happened that the dingo hadn't prepared for. The shark asked, "How would you like to be our conventions Guest of Honor, miss dingo?" The dingo was ecstatic! Of course she said yes!

explanation for absense- moving- exciting but also terrifying and tiring times! We're still waiting to get internet installed, been having a few problems with that so streaming and commissions are on pause until we can get our net together and get our computers over to the new house. I did have a stream planned today (sorry to everyone I told I would be there, I had no time to explain, it was a mad dash out the door) A rental property just became available for inspection. It was one of those magical moments where the planets seemed to align. This is practically my dream house (vintage, post war, old little grandma cottage and GREEN!!!!!) and is perfect for everything I need so I definitely had to go check it out! Most people who watch my stream will probably remember me having big cries about feeling pushed to my limits in my day job. Well that's pretty much the explanation for why I haven't been around lately. =/ IT NEVER STOPS Dx That and I have been pushing myself to the point of exhaustion trying to do all of their work with all of my work for furdu (in less than two months ACK PANIC!) meanwhile trying to keep all the people I live with happy, and then I also have Supanova on this weekend where I will be helping my friends with their stall until midnight Sunday (good job i love them <3)

First off, I want to offer a HUGE apology to my commissioners from Furdu who are still waiting for their art! I promise you it's not for a lack of trying and i appreciate your patience with me SO SO MUCH, you guys rock, seriously!

I don't want to fill up a journal with excuses but I am really going through a lot right now and I've somehow found myself in a major artblock caused by exhaustion in general from my day job, housekeeping and my efforts at trying to improve my health. I'm super overwhelmed :(

The 5 commissions I have left are going to take a bit more time then I originally anticipated. If you have one of these and would like a full refund let me know. Sorry to get all businessy on ya- I've been seeing a lot of theft around lately so I decided to make a post that can be referred back to regarding what I do NOT accept in the usage of my artwork as a means of protection. It's all pretty standard and basic but needs to be said. Hopefully it all sounds very fair, and a lot of the issues address the reposting of people who are not my commissioners as well as a few things for commissioners to bare in mind. I'll possibly be adding more as things arise.

But the TL;DR version is : Always credit and link, don't claim you drew it, if its not your character don't touch without permission, don't edit the artwork and don't attempt to turn a profit from my art.

I also address the sharing of my art down the bottom.

THE RULES

---

1. REPOSTING:
a) When posting to your galleries/anywhere online- you must always link back to either (or both) my furaffinity page (http://furaffinity.net/user/toxi) and/or my facebook page (http://facebook.com/misstoxi) and credit me Toxi De Vyne.

****HOW TO CLAIM YOUR SLOT*****

1. Post on this journal with the name of the slot you would like! Remember to add any pictures or a detailed description of the character you want drawn/designed (E.g a furaffinity account with art of your character, sketches are also fine. You don't need a ref sheet to order a ref sheet but if you have one and need stuff changed please post that too :))

Don't worry if someone else has asked for the same slot that you want, I will be choosing based on appropriateness to the pack details and you may write on your application NEXT IN LINE for the slot just in case the previous person has backed out on the commission.

Note: I am happy to design a character for you if I am given artistic freedom and a set of keywords or a theme (for example: Cute, Femmeboi, blue, husky with white and black markings and long hair) You will get 2 chances to change or add to design aspects. (See rule 5 for more details.)

2. When your ref/description is accepted (with a description I may need to chat with you more about it before I accept) you have 24 hours to pay for your commission. I will send you payment details for Paypal. If you are somebody I know in person and you can deliver cash to me within a couple of days I will accept that also.

**** RULES******

1. Your request must fit within the guidelines of the reference package and be appropriate as such. If you don't have a left side that has a significant difference to the right side of your character (eg. different markings, a tattoo, a deformed limb, a robotic part) then Deluxe Pack 02 would not be suitable for this offer.

2. This is not first come first served, I will be accepting commissions based on the appropriateness to the reference pack outlines and characters which I would want to exhibit as my example images.

3. Commissions must be paid before I can start. If payment is not made within 24hours of commission being accepted, the slot will be offered to the person next in line.

4. You are allowed to ask me to design a character for you! I'll happily accept that smile emoticon If you have specifications on species or colours that is fine too! Feel free to discuss!

5. I will give you updates with sketches. Changes to the design are to be made in the sketch phase. I will give you a sketch of the body for approval and then a rough depiction of the markings again for your approval. Changes are to be made only in the sketch stage unless they are faults of myself (eg. I forget to colour in a part that I should have or accidentally forget to draw a key component etc). And I will alter the sketch for you up to 2 times only for approval.

6. I reserve the right to use these special discounted images as example of my work in order to procure further business.

7. The artwork I produce will be safe for work only. (Tasteful nudity without genitalia or with underwear) (But I will accept NSFW reference material if it is private messaged to me.)

My commission queue is just about empty and tomorrow is a free day from work so now its a drawing day! Im opening for a couple of easy pay what you want sketch commissions (minimum spend of $6) and I will also be streaming these on tigerdile. The more you spend the more you get! Eg headshots at the lower spectrum to torsos and then full bodies. Any offer over $35 may request a speed paint (35 starts at headshot speedpaints higher amounts offered = torsos to fullbodies) (artistic freedom reserved for artist)

I'll be going away for a few days over the G20 (a.k.a. world leaders having a powow in Brisbane and screwing up the city for us all) so I'm opening a couple of slots for sketch commissions to work on during the car trip down to and back from Coffs Harbour with my portable tablet.

Unfortunately this tablet is not ideal for working on the bigger stuff like line art and shading so I can't continue working on my current commissions with it.
