Big Update : Commissioners Please read. Re: Grieving.
Posted 5 years agoThis is really hard to talk about in a public space but needs to be said for my commissioners sake. I'm currently grieving the loss of a very dear friend, someone very special to my heart.
I'm sorry that I can't quite message you all directly regarding it, finding the right words to say has been terribly difficult.
I understand there's already been disruptions with the previous funeral and the convention I just went to, I have been trying to stay strong and keep working and pushing through but all that has piled up and the loss of my friend on top of it all has left me in a bad place. My heart and spirit are shattered and I need to find time to recover.
People who have worked with me know that I hate the idea of leaving commissioners in the dark. I also hate my personal life getting in the way of my work and I hate excuses. But people who have worked with me also know that I pull through with all the work I owe regardless of whats going on, even if it takes some time.
Please be aware that I might be a bit quiet for a little while with updates and proofs. I'm going to keep trying to get back into my work (starting as of last night) but I might be a bit slower than usual and may need to tackle things in smaller pieces. I can only promise I'll do my best, and everything will get done even if it does take a bit of time. I don't want to let anyone down, I don't want to deliver work thats riddled with mistakes because my mind is elsewhere and I want to keep that responsible reputation of mine.
Moving forward I'd like to keep trying to do my Friday commission streams, including tomorrows stream - they are a stable routine normality that I can grasp, even if I limit how many commissions I take on the day. I will be travelling back up to Queensland next week for the funeral so next Fridays stream may be tentative depending on how i feel after.
I'm also planning to keep trying to stream and keep picking away at my queue. Feel free to come along, in-fact please do I'd appreciate the company <3
I'm also doing more personal/traditional art at the moment as its an activity I used to do with my friend and makes me feel closer to him. My wonderful partner
tanrowolf has been an absolute rock through all of this. He gifted me a scanner so I can start scanning those traditional copic arts in and upload them to FA. So hopefully I can share some of those with you guys soon.

These commissions are same day completion and will be accepted and completed in the stream on Fridays. Slots are limited.

Friday Stream Commissions - Some upcoming cancellations i...
Posted 6 years agoJust a heads up about future Friday Streaming schedule!
Streams will still be running this Friday (7th of Feb AEDST) and I will be open for Valentines commissions on this day as well.
The stream that was scheduled for Valentines Day (Friday Feb 14th) will no longer be going ahead due to my attendance at a funeral in Queensland around that date.
There will also be no Friday stream on the 21st of Feb (AEDST) due to my attendance and dealing at a Convention in Melbourne (Melbourne City Fur Con)
After these dates my Stream commissions will be returning Friday the 28th of Feb (ADEST)
Thank you all and if you have any questions feel free to comment or contact me :)

How to Book a stream Commission and More Information
- Join the stream chat on picarto (https://picarto.tv/ToxiArt) and ask in the stream chat to claim a slot (either public or in private whisper: /w Toxiart -insert message- )
- Clarify which commission type you'd like from the options available (including bust/thigh up/fullbody etc)
- Have a link to your character reference available as well as all details regarding the piece you'd like drawn
- Message your paypal email address to me privately- preferably in picarto chat whisper /w Toxiart -insert your message or by email or other contact means (Just be clear to tell me where to check for it!!! I will invoice you the price of your commission, Your Slot gets added to the queue once commission is Paid
- Feel free to hang around until your commission is done and provide input as I work! It is fine if you need to leave before your commission is finished however if you do leave the chat WIPS will not be provided and any changes you require to the completed piece will be limited to colours and markings only. (If you need to leave before your commission is complete please provide me with contact details before you go so I may send your finished artwork!)
- Slots available will be displayed on screen
- Please bare in mind that extra costs will apply for multiple characters, wings, complex character designs and some specific requests.
- Commissions of multiple characters are welcome however may take up 2 slots
- Stream sketches and flat colours are currently priced slightly lower than my regular price list as a special offer

Returning to work! Holiday over!

My queue is currently clear so I'll be working on updating my pricelist for 2020 and getting my form all set up ready to go! *no major price changes just fresher examples and a new look ^^
I am also considering releasing some YCHes soon! If you have a preference on what theme of ych you guys would like to see from me let me know in the comments!

Commissions/Queue Updates + Friday Commission Stream Info

Commission orders put through for the rest of the year will be scheduled for late January/Early Feb Completion.
Xmas Deadlines are now full.
*With the exception of any YCHes and my Friday Commission Streams which will run tomorrow and on 20th Dec
I'll be on break over Christmas. Friday Commission Streams will return on the 10th Jan 2020
Those still waiting on commissions: the priority/christmas deadline pieces will be done first. However if anyone else on my queue doesn't mind waiting until mid Jan for their piece please let me know, it will remove a lot of pressure- I'm aiming to clear most of the queue before my QLD trip (23rd Dec) but if I can't quite get there I will let people know asap.
Both of my Commission forms will be closed while I'm on holiday. Please get your orders in before the 20th of December if requiring a piece for late January/Early Feb completion!
