First ACen in a looong time as a regular congoer. Will I be able to handle it? I should bring a book for linecon. My costumes are crap this year too. Disappointments all around.

The quality of velboa really, REALLY depends on where you buy it.

Still not arting Will be at MFF some of Friday and Saturday. No time off sucks.

SO things happened. And stuff. but i'm not really arting very much anymore. Studio Lobsterball's convention season is just about over for now, but you can still contact Lobster Ball for commissions!

then I went home, because fffsh, the whole thing is silly.

We got in to ACen! We got in to ACen! It's practically a holiday miracle, no waitlist at all!

MFF was fun, but I misplaced my sewing kit. It's a black pencil case stuffed with needles, thread, pins, and several pairs of scissors. I'm really missing those Gingher embroidery snips.

I also misplaced --

* A cheapy sketchpad and my favorite eraser pen (well, more donated to a jonesing artist during the evacuation and they were never returned, but still. lost to me)

* my travel phone charger

* my this-is-how-I-ID-my-car cat toy

* 1.5 pairs of gloves

Hotel lost and found has none of these things, of course.

Real life intervened, and now I'm not in the MFF Dealer's room anymore at all. :/ I will be there for some of the con as an attendee at least.

This con is all distorted and weird, and it hasn't even happened yet. Soo... Now we ARE in the Dealer's room for MFF, but Lobster-Ball won't be there. I will be there, Lobster-Ball's stuff will be there, the Studio Lobsterball name will be there... but not her. Trepidatious is your word of the day.

Oh, right. I'll be at MFF this year with Lobster-Ball in the Dealer's Den. Gonna try the balloon animal thing again. One'd think that furries, of all people, would go for a dadgum balloon animal. All evidence points to the contrary, but since when did logic play a role in any of my decisions? I'll even bring my neons.

Might have some leftover wings, If i can get them in firesale condition. We'll see. Should I even bother with the silk?

Lobster-Ball, as always, will have loads of awesome stuff. Come say hi!

Northern Spalting -- my other best friend uses fungus to paint natural color into wood and then she makes awesome bowls and art pieces out of it! It's science! it's art! It's bioart!

Anthrocon was a lot of fun and it was great to meet everyone. I even sold a couple things. Next up: MFF.

Next up, Anthrocon. I should do some theme-appropriate silk paintings, but I don't know what to do. ah well. haven't been able to sell those for love or money either so it's pretty much moot.

ACen -- Studio Lobster Ball will be there! Ponyday is Saturday. I will be Celestia (hopefully).

Anthrocon -- I will be there! zomg. First time at this con. Since I can't do my balloon animals (not that i've ever had good luck at furrycons with balloons anyway. srsly, wth. why can i break even for concosts at giant animecons, but can't pay even for balloons used at furrycons? *boggle*) , i'll mostly be booth bunny and hangeron with  damaris 's crew. I will also probably be Celestia one day, provided I can get the massive-as-heck skirt into a suitcase (16 yds of fabric in a suitcase? hmmm....)

MFF was fun, if ultimately not terribly profitable. Layout for Dealer's and AA was much better, as was signage, but from polling neighbors, it looked like sales were down all around. Next up: ACen.

I have one remaining fan and no more ideas -- anybody want their character on an 8-inch, flat, translucent fan? How does $12 sound?

ACen was... intense. Don't know about MFF yet. Lobster Ball's not too keen on it this year.
