Is social media worth it for me to build my rep for art?
I deleted Twitter and social media a while back because of the chaos it brought over ONE comment I made about the toxicity of the politicization in the furry fandom for the past few years, and how I am only present for making an income and how I enjoy the artwork... yet that angered so many people who took offense to it and over-evaluated its meaning to think that I was some kind of rotten individual (granted the people who did that were praying on the page I posted it on because it was about this very topic)

Would it be worth it to create a new account in Twitter strictly for presenting my artwork, not following ANYONE and making sure that I just only post artwork and appreciation for followers?

Is it worth it to build my art presentation and lead to more followers on patreon or subscribestar?

Why do so many people "Favorite" my artwork, possibly copy it and maybe even share it elsewhere (and I don't doubt people are also stealing the artwork too), but no one has the time to even comment on anything?

I have a few people that do every now and then and I want them to know I LOVE THEM!! To be honest, I even love a good critique especially if it helps me get better...

But please... say something... anything... I try to make more artwork, submit more extra stuff to my Patreon and Subscribestar, and keep more artwork alive... but... nothing...

I do give you permission to comment, if that's what's stopping you...

So, I have deleted my Twitter account and will mostly communicate via notes on here from now on just to post artwork I want to make, but I will no longer
*Open for commissions
*Communicate or comment on social media platforms
*Communicate within any form of group or affiliate myself with anything
*Attend any convention

I will finish my current commissions, post them, and afterwards post ONLY artwork of my own desire and doing afterwards and keep all communication to a minimum except through notes and messaging on my Patreon. I will not stop or censor your comments, unless I feel they are some form of "targeting" or just in general garbage.

I hate that it has come to this, but to preserve my own mentality and make an attempt to manage my life, it's a choice I feel is necessary. My Patreon will stay active for updates on stuff I create on my own and if people support it, great, if not, then will delete it too.

I apologize for the inconvenience.
