WOW! 40 sketch images in under a week! DAMN I feel productive. Is this what they call an Iron Artists Challenge?

I received such positive feedback from doing all these I think I'll keep offering them.

So what do you guy's think? Worth calling something like this an "Iron Artists Challenge"? Setting an amount each month and seeing if I can manage doing full commissions along with these? I mean the money really helped! I was in a tight spot and thanks to all of you I managed to cover my rent in time. I really can't tell you all how good it is to know I can count on you guys when I need it.

I'm going to be taking a break from any Commission work this weekend, and starting next week Monday I'll be focusing all my energy into completing my larger commission list and doing my best to get it out of the way before the end of the month. So for those of you who were amazing enough to get my 30.00 and up commissions, I'm sorry to have kept you waiting. I promise starting next week you all will start receiving regular updates.

I wanted to let you all know that I have made a few changes to how I do commissions to be a little more accommodating towards those of you who turned away because of my website. I know their are people out there who don't like the idea of having to sign up and provide information to get a commission from me. So to be a little more considerate I've decided to open for invoice based commissions. You can still go to my web page to check out what I have to offer:

and we can talk about what it is you'd like to get from me. That way you don't feel forced to sign up to get a commission.

Another important change is that theirs no limit to the number of slots per category anymore. I'll be going by a monthly quota I'd need to make in order to cover bills and living expenses. So the second I meet that monthly quota I simply announce that I wont be taking anymore for that month but if their are any of you who would still like to get art you can, you'll just be rolled over to the following month. No competition for spots and everyone can have what they want.

In regards to Mini-Sketch Commissions because of the small price and support so far I'm going to create a donate button people can use to send money in that way. The form will still be available and I'll use the email information you included and the time stamp from when you send it and payment in as a means of verification for each donation. In order to not be overwhelmed by the number I will be allocating a specific number of images per month. If the number exceeds what I can do for two months, I will disable the form and donation button. I doubt any of you want to wait for three months for a $10.00 image. Please check my front page for it.

Also, please be sure to keep an eye out for future journals. I'll be creating polls in order to get feedback from all of you for future changes and projects.

OH! Another important note, I'll become active on Weasyl and SoFurry to keep in touch with those furs who have left FA. But for those of you on here theirs no need to follow me there as well. I wont be creating unique content for those pages, i'll be cross posting everything I have so what you see here will more than likely carry over to those pages too.

Because I wasn't able to make enough money this month to cover my bills and expenses I decided to open up Mini Sketch commissions to help cover them and to keep myself form being cut off from any means of outside communication. These sketch commissions will be done on half an A4 sized canvas and will be quick rough single character images. the price is only $10.00 USD.

1) Each commission will be single character only with simple line work.
2) These commissions are to be done quick with no extensive rendering. Please keep that in mind.
3) Minor tweaks and changes are allowed,
4) These commissions will be done on half A4 sized canvas at 300dpi, you will not be receiving a very large image with these.
5) Payment is up front, if you submit a form without paying, than I will not work on the commission till I do receive payment from you.
6) Payment will be done through a donation link on my front page here on FA, its near the bottom of my profile.
7) Please keep in mind that these are fast low detail drawings. If you ask for any excessive amount of work in your descriptions I will only do the bare minimum for them. So keep your descriptions short and simple.
8) Yes, you can get more than one.

Commissions for the month of October are officially closed. I will be spending the rest of the month setting up my store with new commission options and finishing what's left on my list. I'll still be open for Stream commissions through the week so if any of you still would like to get something from me just keep an eye out for announcements.

I have to admit it all went a lot better than I expected and I just want to say Thank You to all of you who have supported me by buying commissions. Using the store to help keep me organized and on top of what I needed to do to get things done has been invaluable to me. Thanks to the help of my really awesome friend  zakrhyno I now have a new web store open where you guys can purchase commissions from me. The site management system will help me keep track of all commissions and payments easily so I can focus more on doing art. At the beginning of august my island was hit by a large typhoon that effectively changed the landscape. The winds and rain were so severe that all of our power poles and lines were destroyed leaving us without power for over two weeks. Now in week three were picking up and trying to make a living with the help of FEMA. Recent announcements from our utility company projects that we will receive running water no later than the end of the month and restored power service within the next two.

Due to the current situation I will be effectively be on hiatus until power has been restored and my home is back in a livable state.

I want to extend my thanks to those of you who have supported me and hope to continue to receive the positive vibes you all share with me.

Due to the onslaught of several typhoons and the fiber optic cable supplying my entire island with not only internet but also outside telecommunications from landlines to cell phone service being destroyed by what I can assume was an underwater earthquake or some form of natural disaster hitting it. I was effectively cut off from the outside world along with all 70,000 residence of my little ocean rock for well near a week. Even tho we got a basic connection going as of early Monday morning it was like being back on 56k speed from the 90's. You can imagine the utter horror its has been just trying to check my emails. The connection as of the moment is only stable enough to check basic message but not even hop on any messengers. But for some ungodly reason FA has been fast and stable compared to other websites I have tried.

So until the internet issue has been resolved and their are no longer any hissy fits from nature resulting in the constant pelting of wind, rain, and power outages. I will in effect be on hiatus from any online activity outside of FA as of today. Hopefully I'll have my full connection back and begin accepting new commissions. But until then any commissions I currently owe will be on hold. Because trying to upload any large images for approval has resulted in time-outs and various other problems.

As of Friday last week I have left my job and decided to give doing commissions full time a try. Thanks to all the commissions and responses I received from everyone I feel like I have a good chance at making this work. So I am going to do my best from now on to provide great service to all of you interested in receiving art from me. I will be posting up a new price list with examples sometime this week and look forward to working with all of you in the future.

For those of you who helped me out during my first emergency commission round I will be using this week to finish off your commissions or get in touch with you about the details so please keep an eye on your emails.

Hey guys,

I just wanted to let you all know that I will be extending my break from commissions a little longer. I am currently in the process of quitting my job in order to find a new and better one. My current work conditions are stressing me out alot and I can't seem to find any time to really recover from it.

I will be back to accepting new commissions either the early part of June or the middle. Either way I will be opening up next month and I hope to further improve my commission process and also my art. For those of you who are currently on my commission list I will be working on them, all be it very slowly seeing as I need my time right now to go through the process of resigning from my job.

Just wanted to get that out there and show that I'm still around.

I've hit another road block in my art that I'm currently trying to get over. I've become so obsessed with it I can't really do commissions at the moment. So I'll be on break for a little while. I'm going to try and keep it to just the next week and after that regardless of weather or not I'm over it I'm going to be back to commissions.

I wanna be sure I don't take too long a break as I've been known to. I'll be back at it and open again the week after next.

Look like I wont be needing those commissions after all. A relative of mine saw the damage and offered to cover the coast of all the repairs provided I promise to pay him back. And Of course I agreed. So now that I don't have that problem to worry about I can go back to just accepting commissions for the sake of having a little safety money on the side.

For those of you who have already sent in orders, Thank you! I will happily fulfill them knowing each of you wanted to send a little something to help me out. As for accepting any more commission requests, I'm going to have to decline any that come after the posting of this journal.

I woke up this morning to find my bathroom flooded because the water main had broken and caused the water and sewage to turn my floor into a swamp. You can imagine how much fun that was to wade through while trying to get ready for work this morning. It'll likely coast a lot of money to replace the line and also repair the water damage to my floor and bath so if you can please help out.
