Over the next week or so I'll be posting some paid work but I want to make something clear:

I am not open for commissions.

I've accepted some personal work from friends, and I'm going to work on some unfinished stuff that I made just before I stopped drawing.

I'm using this as a test run to see if I want to do public commissions again. I'll probably be releasing a YCH opportunity in the near future too to test run auctions.

But for right now, I'm keeping commissions closed to all but close friends and a limited audience

I know I've been in and out constantly like a cat that can't make up its mind, but I made a definite decision (FINALLY).

I recently picked up drawing again to see how I would feel with getting back to the grind and honestly, I can’t find the time or energy to keep up with it anymore. There's a few reasons as to why—which I'm going to limit to close friends and confidants—but, in a nutshell, I'm going to officially step away as an artist. I don’t know if it is a full out “retirement” per se, so I think it’s better to call it an indefinite hiatus. No matter what you call it though, I’m hanging it up and calling it a day for quite some time.

Part of me doesn’t want to leave, and that’s mostly because of—pardon the cliche—the friends I met along the way. I met some of the greatest people I will ever meet in my time around the fandom and I can’t thank them enough. And I also need to thank the people who stuck around as long as they have and those that supported my art and whatever other weird ideas I tried to bring to fruition in my time around the fandom. I started this whole thing about 6-7 years ago, and what a weird, interesting, and unforgettable time it has been. Thank you to everyone for making this a really interesting and amazing journey. I’ll be around!
