PayPal Fixed?
Posted 8 months agoI haven't heard from them yet about the info I sent them, but I logged in to check, and my account is not limited? So I'm going to assume I'm fine. I tested by withdrawing $10 and it worked. Not sure if maybe they auto unlocked after I sent in the info or maybe they did review things and just did it? IDK I was stressed, then yesterday I was feeling unwell and had a doctor apt (unrelated to me feeling unwell, just a check-up). I'm fine today
Again, I'm not sure why PayPal did this?
Speculations are:
Shipping activity flag (if you're buying digital art, PLEASE mark no shipping needed or whatever it says there) *
Randomly selected for security check.
Tax reasons.
PayPal just being PayPal.
I honestly don't think it has anything to do with being furry or sexy art. I've read from core nsfw artists that PayPal doesn't care about this issue, they use PayPal all the time. But I'm going to distance the latter for now, just to be safe. bth it's only maybe 5% of what I do and partly tempted to extra charge or stop them because I can't stream them. But that might more happen if I can actually stream more weekly. People who join me on streams know how well I am at that. XD

Posted 9 months agoI got a notice from PayPal today. They want me to verify what I do and who I am? Apparently? ????
But until I get this cleared, I can't do anything with the account. I can not send, receive or withdraw.
I'm not sure why they are doing this, if It's just random or something flagged my account. They don't tell me why.
In the meantime. I have one commission in process that will be completed. I have some things that I've been needing to work on, like business cards, look into CMYK exporting, updating Neon Glow, maybe look into Live 2D to redo my Vtuber so I'm not using yucky adobi product, and also making products or bases. I have a billion things, lol
But until I get this cleared, I can't do anything with the account. I can not send, receive or withdraw.

About Reference Sheet Bases....
Posted 9 months agoI still don't want to use them for making commission reference sheets. I like redrawing the character every time. I just want to put that out there. I don't want these for my commissions. These are for people to buy, download, and color themselves.
I'm looking into doing things to sell this coming year. Someone suggested bases to sell. I was thinking reference sheet bases. But I think I'm overcomplicating things in my head.
I've seen people complain that there are no, or it's hard to find, various body shapes with bases. So I was thinking of doing that, having options with in the file anywhere from thin to heavy. Maybe some muscular ones too. Should I have all these in one file, or make them all separate? But I also don't want 203752 listings on my Ko-Fi for all these. Because you could have like 10 body shapes for dogs, birds, horse and so on.
Then it's pricing. I see these go for $3 - $5 - $10, but having all these options in one that seems cheap. Just do people want to pay $20 for all these nestled. Files. Should they all be their own listing, so people can pay a cheap price for one body type?
I should also say I wanted to do breeds of dogs too because I feel like that is lacking out there too.
Any thoughts on this?

Posted 10 months agoI just want you all to know that I have ADD, and I am aware that I keep mindlessly forgetting details about or on commissions. I do not know when this happens, as I am unaware that it is happening. I am aware that this is happening more as I get older. (I'm 40 btw) I do not know how to control this. I have been told to try and take better notes about commissions. But when you have ADD or ADHD That is just ANOTHER step of the process, another hurtle I have to jump to keep doing what I do. I have thought about getting meds, but it's like a WHOLE OMG PROCESS of being epic diagnosed and I have to go in monthly to keep getting meds, then WILL even I get the meds, does anyone one even take this all srly enough to cover it, and I'm already dealing with X amount of stuff all ready. It just looked like a lot of money and time down the drain when I could be flopping around making whatever I do work.
I honestly don't think I'm doing that bad? I could be doing better. But I'm doing the best I can. I've been trying to get into the mind set that I am doing the best I can and not to dwell on it when I get behind, or I didn't hit my budget goal.
I also want to say, No one has been rude or angry at me about any of this. Everyone is pretty understanding and supportive. I don't count this against tweak limits when I recognize I'm at fault.
One thing that would help me out, that you could do is, make your commission order organized and in one go. Something like:
Type of order: (example text) Cel Shaded 2 character with Background
Character names: Tails (fox) and sonic (hedgehog)

Description: Two of them running in a loop thing looking into each other's loving eyes
It doesn't need to be that exact format but At least that info in one go.

When you think of it this way, you're only seeing me interact with you. But I'm also working a bunch of other people.
When people chat the commission at me or make information in multiple notes, it gets hard to keep track or reference info. If you've done this to me, DO NOT FEEL BAD! I'm not annoyed or irritated with you.
Over all, I try to be flexible and understanding. My interactions with you guys are part of my job. If I worked for a big company, I would be working with a LOT worse. I see it from my husband's job. 🥲 I love working with you all. I'm just trying to give you better tips so we can work even better than before. I also encourage you to do this with other artists as well. Might be good for them too.

Posted 11 months agoSomeone pointed out some out dated info on my site and I corrected it. My ADD mind then decided to look over the T.O.S. page to make things more clear or whatever

Nothing has really "changed" just made sure things are clear.
Added what payments are accepted. It said this on the "Buy Art" page, but felt it should be there too to make things more clear.
I think the most I tweaked was I rearranged "would love to draw" so it flows better and reworded some things in "might draw"
OCTOBER!!!!
This coming week, We're looking after my mother-in-law as she had hip surgery. I plan to work during the day, but might be pretty distracted.
The week after is a bit of vacation time with Chris. His birthday is the 15th.
So you might not see much from me half the month. Normally I do a Halloween sale, but I have enough orders for the month I don't think I would get to them till after Halloween and people don't seem to like Halloween art after Halloween, from what I've noticed. lol So I'm not doing one this time. Kinda makes me sad. I wanna draw some awesome spooky stuff lol
You may have noticed I've been a bit slow. I've been seeing a lot of doctors lately. Noting crazy going on. Just trying to better regulate some meds. My eyesight has been going weird, I now need reading glasses for work. I have like 7+ cysts on my head that need to be removed, lol They like scheduled me. Then reduced hours without telling me. I showed up, and they were closed. They marked me as "no Show" and blamed me for it? I'm thinking about getting a different dermatologist. I just worry about being a nuance or my main doctor. 😅

Posted a year agoI'm happy for FA, everyone who helped out, and everyone continuing to use this site. Seeing that they hit the GFM really made me happy, and it's a bit of sigh of relief. I've noticed more people seem to want to sign up for FA too. Because of this, I've been kind of poking in on the browse area to see if I can find some new people to follow. I need to do this more. lol

We've been married for 13 years! We're going strong too!
Recently, I came to the realization that the friends I had who hurt me so much in my past were only like a 3ed of my lifetime now. I've been with Chris longer than I were with them. Thinking about it, I feel like I need to dwell less on it. I'm a different person than I was when I was a teen. I've worked on myself and grown since then. A lot of it is thanks to Chris, vids on YouTube lol, and you guys. Chris and you all have given me so much confidence in my self that I love you all! Thanks.
Here's to more years to us all!

Back to AF, despite not having a week to work this month, I'm expected to hit the bare minimum on my only goal. I hope I can keep this pace as I would hit my goal better on a normal month. I've overall been happy this month because of art fight and trying to set up the Neopets Account. So many people have drawn for me this year on AF and it makes me happy to have some art for once as I don't get to buy it myself much. It also makes me bitter-sweet that people want to draw for me because I'm a nice person/friend. I don't know how to express this. A mixture of negativity in the past around myself and friends. It kind of shocks me when someone goes out of their way to do something nice for me because they consider me a friend or a kind person or an inspiration. I kind of feel like a deer in headlights when given high compliments. Sorry to get a little deep there IDK 😅
It's also a joy to find cool-looking characters, draw them for people, and make them happy. I've out-drawn and upped the quillity this year and I feel pretty proud of myself. I've also been thinking in the past few months my art has gone up a notch, I'm not sure what clicked but I love it. I've been feeling pretty happy with myself this past month. I just need to work on me exercising lol
Maybe you think I'm I'm a hard worker with all the art you see here, but I an lazy IRL I just wanna sit and do art or play games all day long. = w =
I've started playing ZZZ, I was bad and put it on my work computer. Oddly enough I like hyper-focus on art when the characters are chatting. I keep being like, I got ALL this done in an hour AND played a game? Whhhaaaaa???
... I need to draw the fluffy wolf boy sometime. o w o

I cleaned up the Plush and Furry part of my website. I listed prices for fursuits. I honestly would be down to do a new partial fursuit or plush for someone.
I've been slowly working on a Wwriothesley merman plush. Here are some progress things

The siding and everything with the house is finally done now. We've had a lot of neighbors compliment how it looks which makes me feel good. I like the attention from random people lol
I hope from here, we don't have any more major repairs to the house so we can save up now. (knock on wood)

House update 🥲

I'll start where I left off.
We called like 5 electricians. No one in our area returned our call but the one 40 mins away. So we had to pay an extra fee for him to drive out here. He thought the same that maybe a nail hit something to electrify the wall something. It was very strange to him. We turned on the power to see what would happen and the bedroom and computer room was not working FOR WHATEVER REASON. He could tell we were stressed and spending a lot of money and was counting on the crew manager to fix it, so he told him how and left. Crewman cut off the outside wall to find the damage and no wires. he looked lower and found wires but no damage to them. We had to call back the electricion and we were dreading how much it would cost to have him back because he admitted that his company is expensive. at this point, my head was spiraling worrying that people were playing us and this and that. I only got 3 hours of sleep last night in worry about today. (I was like fuck it at some point and worked on commission sketches, which relaxed me.) Oh yeah, my dad came out and looked at everything to try and help figure out the cause. He does most of the electrical work around his house so he doesn't need to pay people. But he is old and just got over chemo so he's not going in our attic. He said it has to be that ceiling fan, a missing wire that didn't get hooked into it. So today, the electricity came. He spent like 2 hours troubleshooting. opening plug boxes, light fixtures, testing currents, and found we have two juncture boxes in the attic along with a master bedroom ceiling light that is still there just covered up. (Those stupid previous homeowners, that room could use a light! 😠) Everything seemed fine but no power to them, so he was thinking, "At this point, it HAS to be something stupid." So he looked at the electrical box and THE F-INF SWITCH to the MASTER BEDROOM AND SECOND BEDROOM TURNED OFF! He flipped it on and everything works! So since Friday, no one has noticed that the switch was off. Not Chris. Not the Crewman. I have no idea what anything is on that thing. Not my dad. not the certified electrician! To be fair, we were all focused on the wrong switch, I think it's all the way at the bottom vs. the other all the way at the top. Anyway, the electrician felt foolish so he didn't charge us for the second trip. Witch is amazing because it was going to cost over $1k for him to troubleshoot.
So now were were at. We've paid off the siding job and we just need the Crew to come back and fix the hole in the side of our house and finish the siding on that wall.
I need to relax my self. I feel like I've been on edge to the point where I feel like a consent sense of dread. I think I just need to do some art and play some games.
Anyway, thanks for reading this, Sorry for all the drama stuff I need to find more positive things to talk about on Journals, but like I feel like not much happens besides work. XD;;
