I'm changing some things up. Free shipping in the US is eating up cost, so I'm disabling it, but I lowered the cost of things a bit.

I have some keychains that came in misaligned. I'm going to sell those this week at a discounted rate. I only have 5 of them, though. lol
They are still supper cute!

I've been working hard on figuring out the information I need for shipping to the EU. I think I've made a breakthrough, but I need to gather some more info from my manufactures. I know I have EU friends that want to buy things. Hopefully, shipping will be here soon!

Over all, I'm not making the sales I was hoping for. I know it's probably not the best time to be doing this with everything that's going on in the world, rn. But I am giving it a hard try because I'm having a LOT of fun making things. I keep hearing positive feedback on what I'm making.

Things have been crazier thank I thoght lol.

So Chris is taking vacation this week. So I dont have my normal time to work, if any time to work. We are driving out of town for two days this week.

I was working on a Etsy shop update, that turned into a bigger order than I expected. I realized the supplier is having an anniversary sale so I'm trying to get together a big batch of stuff together. I have to get it done by latest, monday. So I've been a bit antsy because I also have commissions waiting. I'm pushing ArtFight to the side with all this going on.

I should be back to normal next week! Along with Art Fight! I have been getting sooooo many attacks this year and they've been amazing. I'll be working hard to catch up when things get back to normal. 😈 hehehe

In other news, I got the 3ed Scalp Cyst removed on Monday. Having trouble sleeping because of it. so my focus is bad this week.
I think it's going to heal more normal this time. It doesn't hurt as much today. The one that didn't go well was just hurting the whole time. I have the last removal scheduled for end of June, then I am DONE. lol
I still have one more, a 5th one, that I'm considering IDK I should probably stop. I want things to go back to normal lol

I left you all about me having trouble with healing from a smol surgery. It's almost healed now. Still putting some stuff on it. Taking a bit longer than they told me. I figured it would. lol

Hope for it to go more normally.

I got my business cards ( Pic ) in, and I've ordered a batch of stickers to sell at my Etsy shop when it opens. I think I'm going to sell prints, but I want to see how they do first, so I'm going to print them my self at home. I have a hi-quality printer so they will come out nice. If they sell well, I'll switch to getting them printed beforehand.
There will be one pre-order going on. I'll be pre-ordering a pride set. I have an example on the way. ( Preview )

I was going to do a pre-order set of Pokemon Acrylic keychains, but with the chaos in tariffs, I'm holding off. This way I can insure price and the quality I want for them.

The second paragraph I'll go into details related to surgery issues. If that will grosses you out, all you really need to know is I'm ok and I've canceled my April apt for healing time.


So to review, I'm trying to get some scalp cysts off my head. They originally scheduled me to have one done a week. I did the first one, the biggest one. No problems, hurt a bit the first day or two then fine. They couldn't do the next smaller one. So I had them do one that's hurt on and off. This fucker wasn't going to go so nicely! The stiches hurt the whole time. I was eager to have the stiches out but worried why they hurt so much. When they removed them. They said it looked like it was going to split open a bit but it should heal up fine. It felt better getting the stiches out but it's still been hurting and tingling. I had them check it today and they said it's healing well. Maybe another two weeks till it's all healed up.
I've not been sleeping well for like 3 weeks because of the pain and being uncomfortable.

All this is scary to me. I had surgery on my ear as a kid. Everything related is scary. This issue freaks me out. But I know I'll be ok. As much as I don't want to do this, i need to get some off my head. Maybe it wouldn't have been so bad if I got them off sooner. I need some healing brake before I do another one so I canceled my appointment this month. I'll go into round 3 next month.

I still have a 4th one I was going to do. It's a bit up in the air if I want to still do it. Maybe I will if the 3ed one goes better.

Btw I'm not upset at them for this. I think this happens sometimes with scalp cysts removal. Something I'll have to deal with. 🥲

Canceling my B-day stream for now. I've been a bit stressed, and it's making me a bit behind. I need to keep on schedule because I have a series of smol surgeries coming up this month. Nothing major. I have a lot of cyclists on my scalp. Some are too big, others are irritating, so I'm getting them removed. I asked for a quote, but they've been having a hard time communicating insurance, so I was told it's ether $50 or $700. I'm just a bit wiped out rn because I got a crown and more housework last month. @ n @,
Whatever happens, I'll be fine and work though it. Just don't feel like I can take a day off to draw mermen for myself. lol Maybe I can come back to it at the end of the month or something.

HOWEVER!! I've been watching things and I still feel that strong desire to do the Etsy shop. I got some money for my birthday, so I'm thinking about buying some products to sell. I've been trying to figure things out around that. I did some price comparing where I can get prints done and such. I need to come up with a plan on what I can get for what I have. I was thinking a combo of stickers and prints, along with a keychain pre-order. I want to shoot for Mermay, but IDK if that will happen. I need to draw things and order them with time to get here. Also, not doing anything supper amazing for my BD. Nothing like supper fun to do around here because it's march, cold, crummy looking outside. Every year we go up to Grand Rapids, get Ramen and walk around places. Would be fun to do a meet up sometime, but I don't know how many of you are in the Michiana area (lower Michigan, Upper Indiana).

~ Addressed some of the low loading times.
This has been an issue for a long while. There is still more I can do, but it's on the back end of things and would be a lot of work. I feel like I'm noticing it loading faster?
- I replace big background images with a smaller jpg.
- Added a Robot.txt file telling all bots to GTFO. This sucks for my site now showing in searches, but to be real, I'm probably not getting traffic this way.
- Cleaned up anything that didn't need to be there on WordPress.

~ New Gallery Sections
This was suggested on the Artist Feedback. I don't know if this person meant my site, but I felt it was something that was needed. I used the sections to link more examples on the Buy Art page. I also added a Photos gallery! Over the years, I've had images sent to me of my art off-line. I really love these and thought I would share them. If someone doesn't want something there, let me know, or if you want to add to it, SEND IT TO ME!! I would love to see!

~ Fursuis Commissions are now delisted.
I've not worked on them in a long time. With some possible tariffs on the horizon, I don't want to work or focus on them for the time being. Plush section will stay for now, and I would still like to do them.

~ Shop page is new!
Nothing too exciting there, just links to shops and shows off some Redbubble things. I plan to start an Etsy shop this year, so this page is to help with that.

~ Price adjustments
Soft shading, base price for backgrounds, references sheets, and comics, have gone up a bit. These adjustments for Soft and References were influenced by the Feedback form. Backgrounds increase is because there was a lot of feedback that I need to work on backgrounds. To put in the more effort, it will cost me more time. It's been adjusted to all the styles and not gone up too much.
Comic pricing. I looked at and made some adjustments to make it a bit easier to understand and made sure the prices reflected what was offered. They did go up a bit. Again, this is to make the work more fair on my part. There is a lot of work that goes into making these pages.

My next year plans are to try and get into making merch. I'll be opening an Etsy shop hopefully next month. I'm starting with a line of cryptid art. I'll be working on this next week mixed in with commissions. I've just been waiting to try something new. I love doing commissions, I just want to do something more. I would really love to design plushies and sell them. I wanted to jump into that but decided to scale back a bit and try out prints, key chains, maybe enamel pins.

I was wondering, for prints. I was thinking 8x10 and postcards. Should I offer bigger prints? I don't know what people normally sell. 😅

Also, heads up, I'm going to update my commissions sheet and prices a bit based on feedback from my form. I think this effects soft shading, reference sheets, backgrounds, and I'm going to re-look at comic pricing format because it's confusing af. I'll make the change sometime at the start of the new year. Orders on my list before the change will keep the old prices. Hint hint lol
