If only I could figure out why my postybirb is fucking up when it comes to uploading to Patreon and Twitter. Sometimes Twitter is good, every other time it sucks. And Patreon it says it successfully uploads but the image is not included on the posts despite being visible in the notifications. Once this postybirb stuff is fixed, hopefully soon. I can get to publishing more than patreon content and the comic commissions. Also as a reminder, I will be taking a 3 day weekend for both easter, and the day prior since easter also falls on 4/20 along with my usual day off.

Holy shit I’m on a roll with the progress I made on the quality of my art. I even started a patreon sketchbook for what I’ll be working on on my Fridays. But also two major holidays are happening on the same day this month. 4/20 is on Easter, But since I need to be sober as much as possible to do the heavy lifting and most of cleaning for Easter dinner. So I'll be taking the Saturday off 4/19 to observe the greener holiday where I'll be watching trippy fun movies while on edibles and doing art. So for the first time in a long while I'll be taking a 3 day weekend. And also maybe in May or June I'll try to take a week off to recharge and focus on myself for a bit.

I have achieved a new level of quality to my work thanks to using my fanart Friday to do a bunch of experiments and testing of things I learned in tutorials. Speaking of Fanarts, I went overboard in a hilarious series of trying to preemptively over deliver when I assumed a winner. But I didn’t expect my patreon poll to tie two themes, but three themes. This past week was a struggle as I lost complete control of my sleep schedule. Resulting in much of my scheduled slots to be missed or I didn’t have the time or energy to finish other projects. So after saying fuck it. I just postponed everybody I had scheduled while I forced a reset by sleeping until 7am Thursday. Then using the full day to finish every unfinished project I started during the past week. And made enough room to go to my mother’s super bowl party, and fit in everybody that was expecting to be scheduled for this week along with rescheduling others. And with today I had managed to wake up at a reasonable hour. Then I worked on some Fanarts that I’m kinda proud of now that I had the time and the focus to work on them. A strong month to start a strong year. Sleep schedule was a bit off on days due to one night forgetting to take my meds on time. But I should be getting that fixed up now. It begins! And I am now 10 pounds lighter and making decent progress on my income this week! Everything is looking up! And after a week of eating chicken, I got some red meat to eat on occasion and some fruits to eat with it all. But I do feel like I might’ve caught a bit of a stomach flu though either from somebody I passed by at the gym or the store.

Just got the best news ever! That student loan refund check I got, entirely non-taxable according to my accountant. And I have full reign over the full amount. This is the most money I’ve ever had at one time in my entire life. It is a life changing amount. And with it I am taking steps to make positive changes. First I paid off one of my credit accounts. Paid off most of the soon to be finished payment plan items I had with affirm. And after my first day back to the gym after a year and a half of working myself to death to keep up with finances, I also bought myself enough meat to last me the month and then some for fifty bucks less than what I would have spent doing a week’s worth of door dash. And to treat myself I splurged and got myself my first ever quality pair of high end shoes to add to my wizard drip. Soon I will pay off the rest of my lines of credit. Be debt free. And still have a majority of my refund to remain my safety net and piggy bank for future investments I plan to make this year so I can have some tax write offs to go with my quarterlies. Also, doctor prescribed me some diet pills that are some strong uppers, and they have been waking me the fuck up so I definitely back to work my regular 12 hour days. I feel like this is finally a new beginning for me.

I am waiting for confirmation from my accountant about the check I received and whether it is taxable so I can know how much I can use. Starting off the year on a good foot. Gonna work through my first busy week. Then, hopefully, I can start taking a couple of days off a week. Also, a new year, hopefully, some New patrons come. Receiving that check finally made something click in me. For those who said money can’t buy happiness, It definitely made me feel more comfortable to be in my situation for the moment and my near to immediate future. Made the Holiday more tolerable. And it got me feeling like I can take this weekend off for both mine and my mother’s birthdays with no regrets. I am also feeling optimistic about going to the gym and dieting again in January. I feel like I have some level of control back in my life. Controlling my sleep is a question in itself. But That is gonna come with some discipline and my medication not being as saturated in my system. It definitely hit me pretty hard on Thursday out of nowhere when I spent a good portion of Christmas Day being awake and functional.

Holiday miracle, I received my Student Loan Refund. And it is a life changing amount of money. Waiting on confirmation from my accountant to see if it is non-taxable. I live in California so the Borrowers Defense to Repayment discharge is considered not taxable. Just waiting to see if the refund check is also not taxable. Got the new meds and I gotta wait for the lower dosage to decrease the amount of meds already in my system that have been contributing to my brain fog and my deep sleep. It might be a few weeks before I start to see results. The Holidays Are in swing and a good omen is that I think I made the best version of my grandmother’s meatball recipe yet.

Well I’m sure plenty of you have heard the news too, It compounded things for me and left me in an anxiety stunlock. Like I was just blankly staring at a repeating video on my feed for an hour and a half at one point and just couldn’t process anything else, couldn’t even sleep. As strong as my meds were to keep me asleep. They weren’t strong enough for the kind of existential dread of my immediate, four year and long term futures seem bleak and uncertain, I do not know the consequences that will occur because of all these things beyond my control. But I remember there is something I can control. my art, and how I treat others. We are entering in a period of time where people are going to feel emboldened to be their worst selves, last time allowed them to be sore winners and based on what I’ve seen in the circles I’m in and what comes into my feeds on Twitter and facebook, lots and lots of sore winners, all of them. But during this time we need to be our best selves, Better than whatever labels, slurs, or whatever new thing they want to call those that disagree with them. Be kind but be strong enough to not let disrespect reduce ourselves to the exact thing they want us to be. But more importantly, there will be people who will be more vulnerable with a lot more to lose than the rest of us. Be strong enough to protect them, Stand with them, be the shelter and the community we all need to endure the storms to come. And if you are angry, if you feel need to fight back, do so where it can benefit us the most. Go into politics, local, state, or federal. Be the change you want to see. Build the community you want to have. Let this motivate you into replacing those who are doing more harm than good. There is nothing that that can be destroyed that can’t be built back up brick by brick. Stronger and sturdier than last time.

This week ended with a bunch of bullshit that I just flat out gave up on making any kind of accommodations as I am burnt out. Father couldn’t clarify with me during the week if I had to appear with him in court because he is being sued by the buyer of property of ours he sold to cover his debts. Because the new owner of the property can’t sell the property himself because of a complication in my grandfather’s and grandmother’s wills. And literally on the day of I was hoping my father would make the call, I wake up to somebody setting part of my grandmother’s property on fire. Ruining all potential hope I had if I was to inherit that property someday. And it just derailed everything and I Just couldn’t focus on anything for the life of me for how angry I was. I couldn’t even enjoy that I managed to break through the average income barrier for this month despite my problems with my sleep schedule. I’ll be doing the raffle later. I may go back to taking two days a week off if All this missed morning slots didn’t ruin the progress I made, but I am sure I could’ve made more money if I had made it to those slots.

Nov Theme Discounts
Theme discounts are reduced price of 10 bucks for the first two hours of a project that includes any of these criteria. multiple commissions can't a theme discount twice in a row.

Halloween Theme
The spooky month so the spookiest comms get discounted. Must feature pumpkins, ghosts, bats, haunted houses, trick or treating, Grave yards, Monsters from classic to modern. Cosplay doesn’t count. And just your werewolf OC doesn’t count if it doesn’t involve the other things I listed.

Get Gothed
Need to practice on my heavy black inkings and working in darker color usage. If you got a character that you want to see done in a Goth makeover. Hit me up.

Long Term Project Discounts - Projects that take multilpe sessions to complete which include...

...will have a recurring first hour discount each session needed to complete.

I will put you in the raffle if you commission me or refer paying customers to me and they have to say you referred them, or you collaboratively let them use one of your characters to make it valid. This can’t be done multiple times with the same person.

The General Raffle. Everyone will be included in this raffle for Commissioning me, Referring customers, and donating a certain amount. The Pool of free hours will to give out will increase based on how high I have reached towards my goal. I will roll multiple times for each free hour to give, The Prize will be awarded when I reach my goal or at the end of the month. Whichever comes first.
