Hey All
Posted 9 years agoSo, I don't really use this space... ever, and I don't even really know even half of you honestly [and I'm kinda flabbergasted by some of you artists way better/more prolific following me], but... I guess I feel the need to say something.
I know things look grim and we're feeling scared and angry and betrayed, but I want you to breathe, just for a second, because we're all still here. For this exact moment, we're still here. And we're not going anywhere, everyone who had your back yesterday has it today and tomorrow and the next day, even some dumb fatty otter who barely knows you. And we need that. We need to be there for each other. We need to prove that love is still greater than hate.
So let's all be a shelter to one another. Let's be good.
And if any of you need a dumb fatty otter to talk to, I'm around.

MFF and other such nonsense

So, MFF was a blast as expected [mild unavoidable con-crud notwithstanding]. Fun was had, people were met, money was spent, queuing was done, Mystery Otters were awkwardly stood in front of, and I was hugged by a blue-striped raccoon. Huzzah.
Relatedly, this fine guy izkata has a recording of the parade up right over here on the youtubes if you've not seen it.
Relatedly Relatedly, this lovely lady gamblinaria will likely have some pictures from MFF up once she's [a] sorted through her own pictures [b] gotten some from aforementioned fox above [c] done stealing them from the camera dood we reluctantly dragged along [d] a jar of almonds. Incidentally, that means I just volunteered her to do that, so... I <3 you ^.=.^;
And, to the ten of you who aren't those two people above... Hiiiiiiiii. How's you? Good? Bad? Other? Almonds? Inquiring minds query input.
Unrelatedly, ever heard of Desert Bus? If not you should watch it [over here] and give monies to the children [aka to Child's Play via awesome auctions and other fun shtuffs]. Or just watch a bunch of Canadians slowly lose their minds and get phonecalls from Wil Wheaton. It's a win/win!
