My father passed away
Posted 7 years agoMy father passed away today, on August 10th, 2018, midnight. He was surrounded by his loved ones, friends, and family. As he passes on, he leaves behind two children and his wife.
I loved him immensely, even though we didn’t always get along. It’s through him, both through his virtues and flaws, that I am the person I am today.
In our last conversation, he told me and my sibling how proud he was of us. That there was no prouder parent.
He will be missed immensely. Thank you, papa, for everything.

No Subject
Posted 7 years ago I don’t like making posts like this for personal reasons. But, with all avenues seeming to disappear…
My father has cancer. He’s had lung cancer since September of last year. Over the past several months, he’s gone from being in the hospital, to going through chemo… For a while, things were on the upswing.
But his body is weakening- he suffered a seizure caused by bleeding in his brain (where tumors were found and excised months prior), because his blood and platelet counts haven’t been recovering as well as they could. Now the doctors don’t want to put him through more chemo, not until the injury in his brain has healed, and his blood counts are back up. Whether or not he will undergo thoracic surgery to cut out the bigger tumors also relies on this.
All the while, the cancer is slowly building back up in strength.
If his body doesn’t recover more, my father is going to die.
So I know this may be strange, coming from me, but I ask all of you to please, keep my father in your thoughts and your prayers. At this point… it’s all we can do.

Expect activity not only here, but on my usual acesential account.
My goals for this summer:
* Improve the way I draw humans- anatomy and faces
* Vary TF methods- skin peeling, costume, goo, etc.
* Draw more than just MLP TF
Let's see how that all works out!

I do not take point commissions.
My process:
Send me a note!
We go over what you would like.
I sketch out your commission until you are satisfied.
$5 will be paid for the sketch. The rest will be paid once finished.
Upon completion, I will alert you.
After transferring the rest of the payment, I will release the commission to you.
I will ask if I may publish it on my Deviantart. I will not publish commissions without explicit permission.
Hope you'll be willing to commission me!
