I really don't like tagging people, so just do it if you want to, but I'm not going to tag anyone :'D
Rules: Give eleven facts about yourself, and answer the eleven questions.
HERE GOES! RANDOM FACTS MEEEEEME
THINGS ABOUT MYSELF:
1. I'm an ovo-lacto vegetarian, though my dairy consumption has gone down immensely. I'm pretty strict about it.
2. I have a procastrination problem I'm wokring on fixing.
3. I play the Alto Saxophone, though I should practise WAY more.
4. I have a tendency to forget to have either lunch or breakfast :I which isn't a good idea, considering how fast I lose weight.
5. I'm traning myself to become more of a morning person so my days can become more productive.
6. I'm a cat-person. I'm fine with dogs, but I don't want one. I will, however, be at the shelter finding a feline friend when I have a place where it's allowed and an income that allows it.
7. I have a love/hate relationship with makeup. It's really cool in ways, but I kinda suck at it at the moment.
8. I am often turned off by the idea of starting to do anything at, like, a time like 9:46. I prefer to start anything at a full or half hour, though I've reluctantly allowed times like 9:15 and 9:45 for starting-to-do-stuff.
9. I'm very hemophobic, meaning that I will get nauseated, start shaking, become lightheaded, etc at the sight of blood or anything gory. The only blood I can stand is menstruation blood, nosebleeds of my own to an extent, and blood I've drawn myself. Anything else and my brain goes crazy and I can't handle it. ! The only people I can help with bloody situations are animals and/or children, for some reason then adrenaline tends to push it aside - but I will drop when I'm done :'D Anyone else can't expect any help from me when you're bleeding.
10. I draw pornographic material solely for the fact that I find it very hilarious. I don't get turned on from it, and I'm personally close to being pretty much asexual. I doodle it for the reactions, not the fappability of het piece. (And no, you can't commission pronz from me).
11. I'm currently in-between studies. I used to study Comic Design at an art school, but it just wasn't for me. I'm now taking a proper break from studying altogether to get started on doing commissions properly, and taking my time figuring out what it is that I want to do.
QUESTIONS:
1. What mythical creature would you love to have as a pet?
Hmmmmmmmm.... tough one, I think I'll go with ... hmmmmm... A faun. ....with a chastity belt >:C They can play nice tunes C:
2. In a zombie apocalypse what would be your plan? Hide, Run, Fight? Be a loner or part of a group?
I'd try to find somewhere safer, and probably stick with a smallish group - food's probably going to be scarce, so I'd rather not have a group any bigger than five. Might also be one of the few things I'd learn to use a firearm for. Aim for the head!
3. Your perfect dessert?
Homemade brownie with whipped cream and vanilla ice cream.
4. If you could have any ability in the world what would it be?
Teleportation! I'd never be late again 8D And I don't like travelling much :I
5. Would you ever cosplay? If so what as?
HMMMMMM! It looks like fun, kinda, but I don't know. I'd rather come up with my own costumes, if I could ... but if I'd have to choose one, I'd probably go for .... Yuna. From FFX, mind you, NOT FFX-2.
6. What world would you most like to live in?
What do you meaaaan? D: I kinda like this world, to be honest, anything else would eventually end up confusing me. Yeah, I'll stick with this one.
7. Would you rather lose your hands or lose your eyes?
FFFFF geez. I need my hands to draw with and play the saxophone with, but I need my eyes to see my drawings and read the sheet music with. I think I'll go with .... hands. Hopefully there'll be cool bionic replacements that work just as well, otherwise I might be forced to draw with my feet :I
8. Favourite book/manga/comic?
There's so many...
Book: Currently .... 'My son has a sexlife, and I read Little Red Riding Hood to my mother', by Renate Dorrestein. I haven't a clue if it's been translated, but it's a REALLY great book detailing one's response to when a mother you weren't comfortable with to begin with, gets vascular dementia, along with various things that tend to happen in any family. It's a good read, it grabs you and doesn't let go until you've finished it.
Manga: Hmmm, I don't read a lot of manga, to be honest. I'll go with Paradise Kiss, I suppose. Still searching for the last book, as it went out of print before I got them all :C I got the first four books in York, when the Japan Shop there was still in business.
Comic: Currently Blankets, by Craig Thompson
9. What would you change about the world?
I feel like I should make a really deep point here, but all my brain says, is: make vegetarian rennet and vegetarian gelatine substitutes widely available and cheaper than animal-based gelatine. I miss chocolate mousse and pudding :C
10. Any characters from animes, manga, TV shows or anything else that you are in love with?
Uhhhh, not really? Though I must admit I've secretly always liked Angelica's mother from Rugrats....
11. Favourite colour?
Hmmmm, green!

Live my life doing something I love doing, wether that is creating artwork or helping people with speech problems or working with children. Who knows, maybe I'll end up owning a plant nursery, or doing something else with plants C: As long as I'm happy.

End of an Era

Though it was to be expected by the way this semester and last semester had gone, it was still quite a shock to me. Let's just say I was nearly hyperventilating and my mentor wasn't about to go anywhere until I'd regained the ability to breathe properly again. That was a qutie scary moment for me.
Anyway, I won't be able to return to this particular school. I'm going to miss this school so very terribly; the teachers, the students, the overall feeling of the school. I've assured them they didn't see the last of me today, and I'm going to keep in touch with them, but it will never be quite the same. I've never felt such a sense of belonging on any other school before, and heck if I know wether I'll get that again at another school. I seemed to fit in, and yet I didn't.
What went wrong? Too much to write down here, and some of it is too engrained in my psyche and mental abilities to discuss here. Let's just say that I'll have to accept that I need help, and not just with my homework.
What I'm going to do now? Heck if I know. Next schoolyear starts September 2013 if I'm not mistaken, so I got -some- time to look around. I'll be checking out various Art Academies for illustration, but I'll also be looking into my other interests; botany, pedagogics, who knows.
It's just ...tough. I loved that school, and the fact that I won't be able to return just hurts a lot. Right now, I just need some time to get back on my feet, and -then- I will go look at what I want to do with myself and my education. At least now I've got time for personal drawings and for experimenting a bit with materials without the pressure of time and deadlines. And there's a certain wolfie in need of a birthday gift |3
So take note that I won't be quite as chipper as I tend to be, I just need some time for myself.
...and have chocolate milk and blankies and have a good old cry with mommy. Another lesson I have to learn: stop being so fucking embarassed about crying. I'm an emotional creature and that's not going to change, so I might as well accept it.
But right now, I'll be going to sleep. And sleep the full 8 hours I constantly denied myself the past weeks.

MY KNEES! They're wonky and cross-eyed and very uncomfortable. When I put my feet straight forward, they look at each other and are uncomfy, thus I often have my feet in the Charlie Chaplin position, which isn't very flattering. I'll eventually listen to my momma and visit the doctor for it.

I'm very tiny, both in weight and height. Also, I have a WAY too dirty mind for someone who apparantly looks totally innocent/adorable, or something. IT'S A TRAP!

2 shots of Apfelkorn every RosenMontag in Germany. And occasionally moar Apfelkorn at birthdays located in Irish pubs. Because it's funny asking for a German drink in an Irish pub =D

I have enough trouble breathing as it is, thank you kindly. I won't pollute them with tar and nicotine.

Heights, blood, anything medical related, hospitals, getting ill. And vomiting. I go into a damn panic attack when it happens. I hate the way it makes you feel like you can't breathe x.x
15. What are your dreams/goals?
Finish school! My main teacher said that probably only 5 people will make it to the last year, challenge accepted! D< Then publish some of my own comic/artbooks =D And get a nice home with my very own garden ^^ So I may then go to the animal shelter and pick up two of their cats (preferably 10+), and get a chicken coop =D Etcetera etcetera *ramble ramble*

I adore most bugs, wasps and bluebottles neatly get guided outside with the use of a cup and a piece of paper. Spiders are always welcome in my home to take care of the mosquitos. Ladybugs can chill on my plants to nom up the aphids :) The only bugs I dislike are those who bite you without being annoyed first - horseflies are awful motherfuckers, their bites hurt like HELL and they freak out the horses >: And they're scary looking! But yeah, painful bites are INCREDIBLY painful with their knife-like mouth parts and mouth-fluids that cause a terribly painful reaction of the skin while they FEED on you X.X Bastards, and one of the few bugs I ALWAYS whack to smithereens.

People who constantly waste food - empty your plates and freeze what you don't use, guys! It's not that difficult!

My labyrintitis behaved most of the time, didn't have many dizzy spells. I did get a quite heavy one this morning, but I managed.
Met a lot of awesome folks, and saw plenty of familiar faces as well.
So, overall, I had lots of fun and I can't wait till the next event <333
And nop, didn't take any pictures, too busy having fun =D

Posted 13 years agoKittie's going to move to a new place next week! Gonna get 40 square metres to temporarily call my own, with plenty of windows :3 Gonna be fun. And that for a ridiculously tiny amount of money O:
Am going to terribly miss my parents though, and the cats as well, and our li'l garden at home and interacting with my folks every day without the aid of phone/screen, but I'll live, eventually. I'll probably get a little homesick, but I'll live eventually. It sure beats the daily commute to and from school, four hours in total every day. That'll be narrowed down to ten minutes. No more getting up at 5.30.
Heard from a classmate and my new neighbour that internet has been installed there finally after a long wait (she's been there since December, and only had internet on her iPhone up until a week ago), so that shouldn't be a problem.
All of you living in college dormitories .....GTHO or something.
Some things are going to change, though.
Will be spending lots of hours at my school, cuz well, I can without having to worry about arriving at home at 12 am with no dinner in my belly, so I won't be online as much. The daily commute was awful for my mood and motivation - dragging yourself out of bed at 5.30 after having managed to finally fall asleep at 2 am isn't very healthy, and I've been getting more and more ill lately I've noticed. So dizzy x.x
I get homesick quite easily I've noticed, especially when taken out of my comfort zone, and after living with my parents for nearly 21 years this is going to be quite a huge change. Expect more vent art next to commission work and the very slightly occasional request pieces. Only way to keep me sane, I've noticed. Well, next to destroying anything within my surroundings or maiming myself ouo but let's not go there, shall we? Good? Good.
I doubt I'll stop the 'hit your limbs on anything and keep tripping over things' anytime soon, no matter where I live. I haven't yet found the courage to count the bruises I've currently got. I ....am a TAD clumsy at times. And street tiles are ALWAYS out to get me. *grumble*
Will also start up a commission line. I know I've said it before, but I'm quite serious now XD ....

All of you living in college dormitories .....GTHO or something.
Some things are going to change, though.
Will be spending lots of hours at my school, cuz well, I can without having to worry about arriving at home at 12 am with no dinner in my belly, so I won't be online as much. The daily commute was awful for my mood and motivation - dragging yourself out of bed at 5.30 after having managed to finally fall asleep at 2 am isn't very healthy, and I've been getting more and more ill lately I've noticed. So dizzy x.x
I get homesick quite easily I've noticed, especially when taken out of my comfort zone, and after living with my parents for nearly 21 years this is going to be quite a huge change. Expect more vent art next to commission work and the very slightly occasional request pieces. Only way to keep me sane, I've noticed. Well, next to destroying anything within my surroundings or maiming myself ouo but let's not go there, shall we? Good? Good.
I doubt I'll stop the 'hit your limbs on anything and keep tripping over things' anytime soon, no matter where I live. I haven't yet found the courage to count the bruises I've currently got. I ....am a TAD clumsy at times. And street tiles are ALWAYS out to get me. *grumble*
Will also start up a commission line. I know I've said it before, but I'm quite serious now XD ....

I'm gonna miss you, mommy and daddy and kitties D'x at least I'll have more space to put my plants, and won't have to get bothered by my parents while pulling all-nighters for school or commission work :>
And now, I'm exhausted. It's been a long, exciting and thus gruelling day for me, and I still have to get up at 5.30 tomorrow. So I'm going to collapse on my bed now, ktnxbye.

This new legislation will affect us all and will show no mercy at the slightest slip. It will monitor everything you do online, and if you do enough they deem 'illegal', you'll be shut off from all internet access -forever-.
We MUST stop this!
