Its been a while, hasn't it? Well, lets cut right to the chase. I was never one for beating around the bush.

In regards to my disappearance in general.

To be straight to the point about it all, I haven't been fairing well through covid and other current issues. Myself and the family member I was living with lost housing in October of last year and I have personally been homeless with my mother ever since. Said family member isn't doing much better than myself but, I'm glad to say he at least has a roof over his head at the moment. As of now we're looking into moving back into my childhood home but, there's a messy divorce between her and my father and the house is apart of it. So, whether or not its a permanent option is up in the air. This doesn't do much to address the health issues between the two of us either as we're both disabled and unable to work physically strenuous jobs. Once we're able to get to our house I will be looking for work but, for aforementioned reasons, its unclear how long I'll be able to keep such up. Alongside all of this I recently went through a messy breakup with my partner of three years which removed several possibilities for me to get out of my current situation and into stable housing. Without going into too much more detail its for these reasons that I may have seemed to vanish off the face of the platform for a few months. As of now I'll be looking to continue uploading and work through my back log of art but, once thats empty I'm not sure how often ill be able to produce new content which fits my previous audience here. I do hope to reconnect with my audience here though.

In regards to previously incomplete commissions.

Commissions which I was either unable to complete before, or wherein refunds have already been requested, will be refunded either way, I'm aware that ignoring this problem and simply shoving them into the back of my mind was completely unprofessional and will be a stain on my track record as an artist but, I hope that addressing such an issue will help to show that I am attempting to grow from this mistake. Because of this, many of my future pieces uploaded here will likely be character auctions to cover these refunds. Once I'm able to do such, I will return to regular posting. As of currently I will not be accepting large scale commissions [full scenes and the like] to focus on refunds and other unrelated work but, headshots/busts/lineart/etc and such will still be open to fill some gaps as they aren't nearly as stressful and are far easier to fulfill.

This journals been needed for a while and, if I'm being honest, I should've made it a month or two ago.

I'm going to jump straight to the point here and say that I've bitten off a little more than I can chew when it comes to my current commissions, hence the long wait times some customers are experiencing.
I'm well aware that this is my own fault and it's something that I'm working to fix, so, as of now, I'll be closing commissions until I'm able to clear my queue.

Once my current pieces are complete, I'm going to be lowering the amount of slots I open at once to avoid this happening in the future.

I'll admit, I should've seen something along these lines coming. I injured my wrist a month or so ago and that's only added to the delays (This event also should've warranted a journal or other informative post for clients). I've only been regularly taking commissions since late last year so I'm not as experienced as I'd like to be, I'm hoping to grow from this experience as one does with most roadblocks.

Thank you to those who have been sticking with me through these delays and who have been understanding of the situation.

This is a bit of a shorter journal but let's end it off on a lighter note! Despite these set backs, I will have a finished piece released either this weekend or early next week which features a new style of highlights. I'm hoping that y'all will enjoy it as much as I do!

Hey gang! So as you might've guessed from some recent upload descriptions, we've been working on some merch designs recently and putting together some orders with producers. If everything goes well we'll be selling physical pieces soon! Of course, before we get to ordering anything we need to make sure there's some interest in the pieces. That's where this interest check comes in! We've put together a short form people can fill out if they're interested in merch and looking to buy some once we have it available to let us know such. Hey gang! So I've had the idea of doing a few tutorials bouncing around in my noggin for a while now and I only recently really got around to doing it now, mostly as I don't have much in ways of equipment so the quality isn't very high, but I figured I might as well put it out there to the world. As I've mentioned, the quality is far more than a bit lacking so I apologize for the static in the background and I promise if I get around to another video I'll spend a bit more time getting rid of some of the background noise.
