hello again everyone, i first wanted to say thank you to all the super kind and sweet wishes on my last journal, it seriously means the world to me how patient and understanding everyone has been with me... ;_; i'm unfortunately still kind of not exactly fully better, but at the same time i want to try and be more social again if i can and get back into doing my commission work, so i just wanted to give a heads up that i will be back to doing commission openings again here soon, as well as probably some ych's and the like!

i also wanted to let folks know as well that i have increased the prices a bit on most every option i do, anywhere from $5-$20 depending on the type of pic; i've reached the point where i feel like i've increased in skill/experience a lot over the years to where pics now take me a good bit of time to finish, so i hope everyone is cool with that! you can see the updated commission pricing sheet here for reference if you are interested: https://d.furaffinity.net/art/syc/1.....2020_small.png

hiyo everyone, i wanted to make a journal to let folks know whats been going on the past few months, and why i haven't been around

about 3 months ago, i started to get a sudden and unrelenting headache. although i've never gotten headaches before, i wasn't too concerned at first; until it was still there after 2 weeks. i ended up getting an MRI scan, which showed nothing out of the ordinary, but i was still worried sick. i don't really like to talk about it much, but i've always had a very bad panic and anxiety disorder; for about a month i was having panic attacks near daily, constantly freaking out and thinking i had something seriously wrong with me or fatal. i could barely eat for the first month, i felt so sick and nauseous, i just kept losing weight and getting weaker. i lost about 20 lbs in a month.

my terrible panic for a month then also lead to severe insomnia, a kind that was so bad and that i'd never experienced before. no matter how long i lied in bed, i could not fall asleep, my body was constantly twitching and waking itself up the second i dozed off. for 3 weeks i was only getting about 2 hours of sleep every other day. it only made my panic worse. between the panic, no sleep, exhaustion, weight loss, and head pain, id never felt so awful in all my life.

after a few weeks, my doctor had me try a new kind of medication that finally helped with my sleeping and eating. i slowly but surely got back to sleeping my normal hours, and got my appetite back to gain my weight back. however, it didn't help the headache. in fact, i've tried many medications at this point, all of which have not gotten rid of the head pain. even when i went to ER to get the MRI scan, i had painkillers administered straight into my veins, and it still didn't stop the pain. that part in particular is what has caused me the most anxiety about whatever this is.

so that's where i'm at now. no longer panicked everyday, but still dealing with a nonstop 3 month long headache, has just led me down a hole of deep, deep depression. i'm trying my best to stay strong, but its been so incredible hard for me to draw or post or talk to anybody when i'm like this. so i just hope that everyone can understand where i'm coming from, and why i've been so quiet, and might continue to be quiet until i can make it through this. i really appreciate everyones patience with me, and i will try and keep my FA and twitter updated when i can with what's going on
