Artist fraud alert!!!
Posted 14 years agoWell I hate to do this but it has gone on more than far enough. I am writing this journal to warn people about a fraudulent artist. 3:
Well in late July or early August I saw a journal posted by an artist I was watching stating that they needed money and were gonna start badge commissions to make a bit of extra. the first few of them were free and after that the badges were to be name your own prices. The original text said, couples singles and special badges.
You wont find the original journal on this artists page presumably because they knew they were gonna get blasted when people started asking questions.
First off this artists name is Kamilya. I hate to give a link to someone who is untrustworthy but how else will you know who to avoid. 3:

At a time when I could have gotten a badges for free during the advertising period of her free name your own price badges, I chose to pay, and just to get the badge original shipped I paid more. I paid for a couples badge, which was never done. Now bare in mind that I asked first in the journal, which is now nonexistent, if a couples badge was ok, only after I was told yes did I request it and in turn pay for it, in advance, when I didn't have to. She needed help, and I thought it would be nice to have a chance to get art at a good price and help someone who needed it.
Well around August of this year it was all agreed upon and payment sent...but not until just 2 months ago was it supposedly completed. I say supposedly for several reasons.
1. The badge was agreed upon and paid for as a couples badge. When my name finally showed up on the list there were only single characters.
2. I saw may name because I was looking through each badge wave as they were uploaded excitedly waiting for my mate and I to pop up. However when I finally saw my name I had to ask 3 furs who I was in the lineup of badges. IT WAS THAT BAD!!! I had to ask who I was because I was absolutely unrecognizable! Even then there was several minutes of looking and waiting before it was decided! I even noted her to confirm what we thought.
3. The badge was done only after I sent a pm asking about the progress of the badge, and I was informed that it was nearly done, but not that it was to be a single now. The badge was OBVIOUSLY RUSHED! It was appearant immediately when compared to the others done in the same wave, that this one was rushed and no time spent on it at all. It was a quick get them off my back AT BEST!
4.Since I had paid for 2 people I assumed that my mate would also receive a singles badge then, because I would not have paid at all if I had known it wasn't gonna be a couples badge. However I have yet to get a reply about that. In fact I have had no reply for over 3 months if I am not mistaken.
In conclusion this artist is a ripoff a fraud and will not do what you ask unless they feel it suitable payment or not. It appears to not be beyond them to rush something just to get it over with, and they will not respond to you if you have any issues.
I will close with this, I know another person who got a free badge and is awaiting shipping. From months ago! I don't know if any of them have been shipped at all. but this makes 2 people not getting responses. I bet more.

Well, part of it is my style, the way I draw things isn't the way it looks when other people draw things. :/
I have had a few requests for couples badges, and I know I didn't manage to make any of them couples badges, mainly because these have no colors added and nothing to really tie them together, also, with 150 people and close to 180 badges it would take me an hour or two to get anything really specific straightened out. The main idea behind these was quick, but not sloppy headshot badges. I was nearing the last 50 or so, yours included, and my personal computer completely died on me, along with all the refs, names, specifics, etc. and it took me a day to straighten out most of it on a borrowed laptop and when I got back into the swing of things, including your badge I guess I just fucked up a little, all considering. I accidently inked the ears too big, I realized that right after doing so. >.<"

I believe one of yours is done, just not scanned yet, and the other isn't yet. Just keep up with the uploads, and I try to keep my journal updated with the current stats on commissions. If I'm slow to respond just check those first. Sorry for the wait, again, everything should be done before MFF. :3"
It's past MFF It's been months and months, she will not respond, she will rip you off.
WARNING!!! She has taken commissions several times since, and it is obvious that this will not be fixed. Don't let her waste your time too!
I have written her first several times with no answer to try and fix this, then I noted FA admin. Now I have given up, and this is the final result. This artist only had to respond and something, ANYTHING could have been worked out.

Ripped from the jaws of depression by my mate.
Posted 15 years agoWell, though I tried to remain upbeat to those I care for or who are my friends, I have recently just been beat down and mentally taxed to the point of a horrible depression. Days and days went by as I dealt with the problems of those I care for, those I love, my regular family, and then my own.
Many times people say and do things to or around you. things that they don't think about, but that affect those around them one way or the other. Others love us, but need much more attention than we can provide all the time.
Well I want to say this to those I love. I never say love without truly meaning it. When I tell you I love you I am 100% serious.
I saw not long ago someone saying that calling a lover mate was childish...I had never felt so upset and angry all at once. I would never say that to anyone, especially not to those who would care enough to listen. 3:
First of all, the word mate is just as valid as boyfriend or lover. Weather you feel that it's chidish or not is your problem. It might not be so in a world in which it wasn't taboo for two males to marry. Well anyway, it took hours of attention from my, "mate", who loves me more than life to make me feel better. I had to deny and ignore others I like and love to focus on myself and my mate to get me to feel better.
However I do feel better. MUCH SO! :3 Thank you all for understanding, and thank you to

A very special journal about the meaning of life for me :3
Posted 15 years agoHey everyone, or at least everyone who reads this and doesn't just delete it first...the one or two of you. ^^
Well this weekend, I left friday, from the St. Louis Lambert airport, and flew to Atlanta Georgia, and the connected to Atlantic City New Jersey. Why? For what reason? And what does this have to do with the meaning of life?
Simple, and yet complicated...
I want to tell you all about what I experienced this weekend.
For the first time ever I got to fly. I took my first every plane trip, and I loved it.
I got to see the sunset from thousands of feet over the earth, I got to see the cities all across the country lit up at night, as if they were an ocean of light. :3 I watched as the wings of the plane glided through a gentle rain and left a path in the sky.
And all those sights were wonderful, they were amazing, and they made me so happy...but not because I saw them, but because I saw them on the way to see my mate for the weekend. <3
The love of my life and reason I breath. When I finally arrived, he was right there to greet me at the airport. He was waiting with a smile for me, and I saw him in his truck. I almost ran screaming to him I was so excited. But what really made me happy...he spent the whole weekend with me, never leaving my side, He was there for me, every minute, and made me feel like the most important person in the world.
He drove me around and showed me all the places that were in his life. And I was smiling every second, as he held my hand and drove, and even more so when I was tired and laid my head against him sleepily as he ferried me around. Every word he spoke made me feel like I was safe and at home.
And after our time was nearly up, he took off work, just to drive me to the airport to return home. Sat and waited for me to get inside, as I turned and waved to him for the last time this weekend.
And I called him when I got to my gate finally, and he answered and told me how great I was...
Noone ever, has consistently made me so happy, or cared so much for me. No person could ever take him away from me, or me him...because we are for each other. He is the meaning of my life...he is the piece of my soul that I wasn't born with, and he is my sweet sugartail. :3
I love you Xander :3 Your my everything. <3

Posted 15 years agoTime, and effort. In the end it seems that is what I have. And I have come to see through my furry family that it means a lot, much more than I ever knew. I want to thank them all for loving me so much, and I want them to know I love them too, so much I could never really say.
Miles and money, they aren't the obstacles I once thought they were. :3
I am so glad to have the family I have, I am proud of them, and I love them. I am right now, hundreds of miles from home, because my bubby needed help bad. I was proud to go help him, because I could. :3
I look forward to meeting all my family, and soon. :3 I can't wait. I hope you all get to meet your friends from here someday. It can be such a wonderful experience. :3
