Scans - Cheetah and the Purrfect Crime!
Posted 12 years agoAs promised, I bought and scanned the second of the new DC books that has the JL(U) style lovely Cheetah design. The title isCheetah and the Purrfect Crime, and is part of a series about villains, the story told from their perspective. I must say it was much more entertaining then the previous one. Granted, Cheetah here is still portrayed as a rather dumb half-beast and her JLU backstory is not mentioned, but at least she never transforms back to human, so we can assume it is the JLU version.
In the story, she arrives in Gotham to ransack the local jewelry stores, with a "cunning plan" (to quote Blackadder) - she cosplays as Catwoman, framing her for the crimes and baffling Batman. Of course, she hardly fits into the costume (it doesn't have a tail-hole, for once) and then she runs into the real Catwoman too... They argue a bit, but decide to instead team up and share the spoils. They manage to steal a lot of stuff before Wonder Woman arrives in town to help Batman. The duo steal a Ferrari (yeah, you will get to see Cheetah drive a car... when she can run faster then one) and go on a wild goose chase before being lassoed after it crashes. But they escape, and it's time for Batman and WW to come up with a really silly plan - they make a fake golden ball of string from WW's lasso, and you know, cat-themed villains can't resist that... As usual, the whole story ends with good ol' golden lasso bondage. Still, quite enjoyed it - Cheetah is portrayed as knowing when to quit, even though often her animal side gets the better of her and she lashes out like a beast. And man, such great art of her in this one. Hope you like!
I especially LOLed at the "profile diagram" of cheetah - one arrow states "durable skin" while almost pointing at her boobs. It could have also stated "soft fluffy boobs".

New DC books - the return of JLU-style Cheetah!
Posted 12 years agoI was surprised to find during a random search that DC Comics has started publishing new books aimed at kids - these are short, 50-page stories with illustrations - and they have gone back to the DC Animated Universe (Timm-verse) style to illustrate them!
Which means that - yep, they are using the JL(U) style lovely Cheetah design, too - even though the stories mostly follow DC Comics continuity, not the DCAU one. One such book is Attack of the Cheetah, which I have bought recently, and I have scanned the appearances of Cheetah to share with you.

http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/.....eCheetah08.jpg
The story is rather silly, actually - three wild cheetahs are brought to a zoo, and when they suddenly start to behave agressively, Wonder Woman suspects something is afoot. Turns out Cheetah replaced them with her own trained cheetahs, to create panic and get the zoo to stop the program of trying to breed cheetahs in captivity, saying "they do not need protection"... which is rather stupid coming from a biologist. She should really know better... In the wild, even lions prey on cheetahs, not to mention humans shooting them.
As this is basically the DC comics version of the character (who looks like the DCAU version), yes, she can turn back to human - seen on the left side of the second pic).
Love the scene where WW forces Cheetah to the ground... did I mention the book adds giant-letter sound effects to the text? In this case, GRRRROOOAAAN! :D
And at the end, she wraps Cheetah in the magic lasso of truth, and forces her to confess her "nefarious" plan to the press. Also, she tells WW she just replaced the original cheetahs, as she could never harm another cat. Awwww... Wonder Woman is also smiling in a peculiar way here, almost like thinking "Now, what to do with that tied-up pussy..." :-P
Check the last page for the interesting part - there is a bio section there, and... they basically use the JL(U) bio of Cheetah - her being a biologist who used herself as a test subject and now has turned to crime to raise money for her experiments to turn herself back to human. Odd, since in the actual story she can turn back, like the comic version. Still, at least now we know that the JL(U) Cheetah was called Barbara Ann Minerva, too.
There is another DC book out there featuring her - "Cheetah - the Purrrfect Crime" which I have already bought, and will scan her appearances once it gets here.

Orangina made FIGURES!?!
Posted 12 years agoRemember those Orangina adverts with scantly-clad anthro gals posing provocatively? Well, turns out the french company made some keychain-figures of these girls in these poses! I found these few on Ebay... hope more exist (especially that sexy zebra and pantheress)
- Penguin girl
- Dolphin girl
- Cactus girl
- Second pic
- Flower girl
- second pic
EDIT: found more (added two above, the rest below)
- Deer girl
- Octopus girl
And here, the best for the last - there is apparently a rather large (12 cm tall) sculpture-version of the penguin girl, too! Man, she is hot... hot enough to melt that ice cube she is sitting on. :-P

I'm back, baby!!!
Posted 12 years ago... well technically, I never left. But yeah, as most of you noticed, I have not posted much in the last year or so.
There were multiple reasons for this, but - breathe a sigh of relief, guys - I am NOT quitting the furry fandom with a huge 'hurr-durr' rant.
Last year, there was a death in my (close) family... then I had several (not too serious) health issues and accidents. But this is not really the reason, the reason is... something you will find silly.
Yep, it's that I started Sailor Moon Month, and decided to only submit the themed pics... but soon I found myself wanting to draw other things too. Which I did not post... Add to this that I had a looong-overdue art trade's promise hanging over my head like some vast, predatory bird... and well, I am silly like that. I decided to only submit pics for the Sailor Moon theme - which culminated in a 12-page comics (originally planned to be 3 pages long) and one year of woefully little art.
So I made my decision - no more themed months (erm, years...) - Yeah, I will still draw themes, even Sailor Moon, but I will not make the "promise" to myself to stick to it. My "muse" works best when unrestrained. For the same reason - no more free art requests and art trades for a while now. I'm back, and I am throwing off the reins!
And now for the good news - as I said, I often got the urge to draw something else, and - feeling guilty all the way - I DID. So now I have... about FIFTY pictures waiting to be finished and uploaded. Some are in sketch format, some already inked, some are even colored and basically ready for instant upload. So, expect more art from me from now on, as I'll just share all the stuff I have been working on in 2013 (and late 2012) - which includes a lot of obscure R34, as expected from me. In fact, it will include a lot of first R34 for certain characters.
Stay tooned!

Busty puffin bird in a Dutch (?) cartoon- identify?
Posted 12 years agoI write this to any/all possible Dutch FA members who might read this... I found this clip on Fchan lately, with one of the sexiest bird characters I have seen in a cartoon ever since Contessa (Animalympic) and Sayoko (The Skull Man). I think she is a puffin - and she is so very well endoved! But oddly, she only wears a bra, no panties... :-P

Unfortunately, not even the uploader knows the source. I think - but I might be wrong - the movie it's from is in Dutch, so if anyone knows the language and/or knows the source of this movie, please share. I am itching to draw her, but I need better reference material.

New Battle Beasts Anime "Beast Saga"! (1st episode link)
Posted 12 years agoWell, I'll be a monkey's uncle... I knew that Takaratomy was reviving the Battle Beasts as "Beast Saga", but since the toys were quite super-deformed in a short and blocky way I did not care much.
However they apparently also ordered an anime made to accompany the toyline! It is centered around a lion character -the new White Leo - only in brown - and features a lot of the toyline's gimmick - them firing what is basically Energon Cubes from their chests.
Here is the link to the episode - no subs, though. http://www.nosub.tv/watch/33767.html
And besides the characters existing as toys, there are a lot of un-armored civilian beasts too. And I was also surprised to find a female Beast in the cast too - she is some sort of a black-furred bear, or maybe a wolverine - wearing armor with pink hearts.
The show - much like the old toyline - displays a heavy use of the "Reptiles are abhorrent" trope, as all the villains are "icky" animals like lizards, gators, frogs, snakes, fish, and the like. Still, this is a nicely animated show and I'll be checking it in the future too.

The US Sailor Moon cartoon that never was - CELs and scripts
Posted 12 years agoWell, when I heard about this I was like... This isn't real... - But, it does exist.
Basically, in 1994 - before the first Sailor Moon anime has been dubbed - there were plans to instead re-adapt the series into a western cartoon, made by Bandai and an animation studio called Toon Makers. And, get this - it'd have had live action parts. Yes, the live-action was as aweful as you'd expect. The cartoon itself? Did not look that bad... reminds me a lot of She-Ra/MOTU.
This thing never happened, but there were rumors that a pilot has been made (and a short clip did made it to Youtube)... And in the end of 2012, finally CELs and even a script of the first episode surfaced on Ebay! A guy has collected all the info and CEL scans about the series, which you can find here!
http://sailormoonnews.com/category/.....s-sailor-moon/
Some of the stuff that'd have been:
- The Sailors were apparently all princesses of the various planets which had inhabitants (how does that work for a gas giant like Jupiter... don't ask). Queen Beryl would have been trying to get their "jewels of power" which they use to transform.
- All five (Moon, Mars, Mercury, Venus and Jupiter) Sailors would have been present and one team from the start.
- The girls have "space-windsurfboards" which, while silly, kinda makes sense since they are sailors, after all. Similary, Queen Beryl travels around in a giant space-faring Galleon.
- What probably interests me the most - There were some CELs found of one of the original Youma re-drawn for the US version, namely Bakene, the big anthro male cat-demon. WHich makes me think probably most of the Season 1 Youma would have been re-designed for the show... pity that this never happened.
-Tuxedo Mask here was the Prince of Earth, Darian, destined to marry Princess LUna... but then seemingly dies in the explosion of his ship. The script is not complete, so we don't know how he survives. Man, he looks like a Disney prince, look at the pink gloves!
-Luna is now a white cat - drawn very much like a persian cat.
- Sailor Mercury (I think) would have been a wheelchair-bound girl, while Sailor Mars was african-american.
- Queen Beryl was the main villain, and she was a hell of a lot more active in the pilot then she was in the anime - also, she looked more like Evil-Lyn, was more alien-looking with blue-ish skin. But there is more - she was voiced by Adrienne Barbeau, y'know - Batman TAS Catwoman! Sultry...
At any rate, an interesting facet of the past - just something to occupy you until we get news of the new series coming this year.

Chima - Lego is making furries - female furries even! :)
Posted 13 years agoYou have probably heard about the new Lego toyline Legends of Chima - it's scheduled to replace Ninjago in 2013 as the new "collect and battle" line. And, well... look at the toys - you can see they took a 'little' inspiration from Thundercats for this. I mean, noble lion anthros fighting reptile, avian and canine anthros with magic swords, futuristic vehicles and battle mechs? All we need is an evil mummy.
The lions are not really to my liking, but the wolves, crocodiles, eagles and crows look quite good. There are tons of characters - you can find images of all Chima sets here.
Of particular note are two characters who are obviously females: Eris, a female eagle; and Crooler - a female croc (second from the right). It's an odd coincidence, but Crooler actually is sporting the same style of torn purple bra/loincloth that Gila, the female lizard from Spiderman TAS was wearing... Though it is probably a coincidence.
At any rate... I will need to get these toys. Even though Lego females are still woefully 'flat' due to obvious designs reason, and this is not the first time Lego is making furries (see the Lizard Suit Guy in the minifigs, the Ninjago snakemen, or the various werewolves) this whole line is based on them... so I am gonna support it.
EDIT: Oh, there'll be a CGI animated series as well, apparently: http://youtu.be/xFITk8HHHhM
Hmm, maybe I shall retract my "No Rule34 of Lego characters" rule?
Ms Fortune from Toonstruck - looking for design artwork
Posted 13 years agoI regulary search the interwebs for Toonstruck art, and thought I was lucky this time whent Google showed me this... Unfortunately, the link - http://images.4chan.chan4chan.com/c.....8399905872.jpg - goes to a dead 4chan-ish site that asks for a password... and I cannot register since the site is, y'know, dead and gone.
If anyone managed to snag this official design sheet of Ms Fortune before it was gone, please can you share it with me? I'd use it well, y'know... to make more Rule34 of her.
Here is the pic as I managed to download it: http://fchan.us/src/c_1352929101324.....ign__small.jpg

Zeno Clash toys coming - go and VOTE for Chtlana and Chlara!
Posted 13 years agoRemember Zeno Clash, that odd game that'd have made Hyeronimus Bosch sit down and say "Whoa, that's too weird, even for me" ?
Well, the creators are not sitting idly by - it looks like there is genuine possibility for action figures to be made of the main characters (Ghat, Deadra, Father-Mother). But, they also want to hear our opinion on what other characters we'd like to see... And Chtlana, our sexy four-breasted lizard/rat... thing, is on the list! Mislabelled as Chlara, her sister, but nonetheless!

So, go on, register, and if you want to have the world's first official furry female 4-breasted toy, vote for Chlara/Chtlana!

Maeterlinck's Blue Bird anime (1980) - up for download!
Posted 13 years agoMany thanks to
Hypercat-Z, I have aquired all episodes of this elusive italian/japanese anime - unfortunately, only in Italian language, but that's still better then nothing!
For those who don't know - it follows the classic Blue Bird of Happiness fairy tale story, the adventures of Tyltyl and Mytyl, two siblings, who each day get to go to wonderous lands thanks to a fairy's magic. Accompanying them are their pets, who get anthropomorph shapes thanks to the spell - Tyrol the dog, and Shanet (or Chanet) the cat. I must confess, I only became aware of this anime due to finding pictures and quite suggestive GIFs of Shanet on Fchan, and let me tell you... those frisky italians and japanese managed to get away with a LOT of innuendo regarding her in this anime. She is certainly on my 'to-draw' list.
I have uploaded all 26 episodes to Rapidshare, in Italian. You can download it, just register on bolt.cd first: http://bolt.cd/board/f102/%5Banime%.....ita%5D-757574/

Bratgirls - Diminutive Minions of Awesome
Posted 13 years agoIt's thanks to
Snytchell that I have become awere of the Bratgirls - they are small but sexy minions of Nina Cortex from the game Crash Bandicoot - Crash of the Titans. See what I miss out on for not having a console? Well... I still won't buy one, especially since there are emulators, but I can understand the appeal now.
Bratgirls are a mixture of bat, rat, and a whole lot of bad attitude. As Aku-Aku says of them, "They are as dangerous as their dress sense, and twice as loud!" They are the last minion-type you encounter in the game, and quite dangerous - they can slap you around with those big paws of theirs, get out of your range by doing cartwheel jumps, and even pull out megaphones and gossip so loud it will stun Crash.
Here is a good video showing them in action
I have managed to get a PS2 emulator running and I took a a VERY extensive screenshot collage of the girls - check the link.
Apart from their standard look, they sometimes wear accessories - a red bow-tie in their hair, a spiked collar, or large pink ear mufflers (probably to counter their own megaphones).
But perhaps the biggest part of their charm is their personality - when attacking, pursuing or just standing around, they throw the most hilarious one-liners at you in those high-pitched shrieking, annoying voice of theirs. Gotta love those. There was already a good list of their taunts online, which I have extended, and shared with y'all below. Apart from these, there are also some random conversations you can eavesdrop on - one is about how two Bratgirls, bored on guard duty, are planning to shave Crash and take humiliating photos of him, while the other is about their admiration of the new Battler mutant and how they plan to film how it dices Crash into little pieces.
Generic voices:
"Nope. By-bye!"
"Generic ANGER!"
"Meddling kids!"
"Toodoloo!"
When pursuing Crash:
"A furry spy!"
"Bandicoot detected! Begin beating!"
"Finally! A real fight!"
"Get off our land! We stole it first!"
"I have him now!"
"Time for battle!"
"You make me sick!"
"Red Rover, Red Rover - Kill Crash!"
"Don't mess with me!"
"Nasty hero here!"
"He's MINE!"
"Get the intruder!"
"Choppy smackdown!"
"I'm just furious now!"
"Punchy-punchy!"
"All for Nina!"
"Venom and vile for you!"
"Resistance is fruitless!"
"Bring them down!"
"Oh, this is great!"
"Brat attack!"
"Scratch him!"
"Oh this is nice!
"Hairball!"
"Slappy face!"
"Surrender Crash!"
"Menace! Rend! Repeat!"
"You can't win!"
"Taste it, rodent!"
"Take that!"
"Hurt it, hurt it!"
"Kill wimpy gopher!"
"Ratface longlegs!"
"Oh I like that!"
"Rip it, girls!"
"GET HIM!....Please?"
"You walking gerbil!"
"Stop the mutant!"
When unable to reach Crash:
"Lousy heroic coward."
"Hey! Come back here!"
"Oh, I can't get to Crash!"
"I ain't gonna jump that high!"
"Get back here, right now!"
"Scaredy...cat!"
"You just back it up, mister!"
"We're not done yet!"
"Were's he go now?"
"Someone bring him to me!"
"You lousy... whatever you are!"
"I'm so angry now!"
"Somebody get his license plate!"
"What? Where he go?"
"You are just making it woooh-wooh-worse!"
"One of these days... POW!"
"D'oh, no fair!"
"I have more hurts for Crash!"
"Come back here, littly baby!"
"I lost him, anyone see him?"
"You DARE run from me?"
"You stinking scrounger!"
"Crash is annoying me!"
When hit:
"Quit it!"
"My teeth!"
"Need more Bratgirls!"
"Stop it!"
"Ouch!"
"I broke my teeth!"
"Oh the pain!"
"Help!"
"Meanface!"
When killed by Crash:
"Brat Girl down!"
"System failure!"
"This is the end!"
"What did I do?!"
"Down like a frown..."
"What a world, what a world..."
"Ahhh... I fail..."
"It's over for 'moi'..."
"My priiiide..."
"That's no good..."
"Victory!... will... be... oursss..."
"The delicious burning!"
"Now that's just typical."
"Why, you...!"
"Oh, come on!"
When killing Crash:
"Nina would be so proud of me!"
"Victory!"
"We won! Quick, to the ****" (unintelligible)

End of Sailor Moon Month - and what comes next
Posted 13 years agoWell, Sailor Moon "Month" - which, actually, has been going on since April - is coming to a close. Three more pictures are in various phases of preparation (one a short comic), then we will close this chapter.
Naturally, this doesn't mean I won't draw the various Youma, Cardians and Daimons ever again - in fact, I already have ideas for some pics - but, I want to work on another theme next.
After these three pics, I will post a lot of various Rule34 and fanart drawings - many already drawn or sketched, just not posted as to not to disrupt the theme of Sailor Moon Month. I won't spoil which characters I will be drawing, but I will give you a taste of things to come by listing the sources I will be taking said characters from! Many of these will be the first ever Rule34 pics of certain furry/scaly/feathery, even chitinous characters.
- Huntik - Seekers and Secrets
- Gegege na Kitaro
- Unreal Tournament
- Tokyo Mew-Mew
- Serious Sam
- X-Com: Terror from the Deep
- Diablo III
- X-Men comics... OK that's vague, I will narrow this down - check in the X-factor series.
- Wakfu (about time I return Groovechampion the favour)
- Sacred II
- Quest for Camelot
- Batidos Puleva
- Gurren Lagann
That's all for now, folks... some of these are inked already, some are just sketches, some only stick figure drafts. Wait and you'll see... in due time. And I thank all my watchers for their support!

Diablo III Anthros - Artbook Scans!
Posted 13 years agoSince this book is quite hard to get now - Collector's edition is quite sold out already - I thought I would share some of the more furry-related pictures from it with you all.
Firstly, my favourites, the Lacuni. Here is a nice groupshot of a Warrior and two Huntresses, drawn by Peet Cooper. I frankly, wish they had such more feline faces and noses in the game too. But well, nothing beats 4 boobs.
http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/.....III/Lacuni.jpg
A front/back design view of the Lacuni Huntress. Drawn by Victor Lee. (Mmmm, looks like their loincloth only covers the front, not the back... )
http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/.....niHuntress.jpg
Design of the Lacuni Warrior, by Victor Lee.
http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/.....uniWarrior.jpg
Lacuni "Sorceress" - just guessing the name, she is in the artbook but not in the game. A pity... she looks great, although I wonder why she only has 2 breasts. Drawn by Josh Tallman.
http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/.....iSorceress.jpg
Lacuni "Wizard" - again, sadly not in the game. Art by Josh Tallman.
http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/.....cuniWizard.jpg
Demonic Hellflyer - by Steve Hui. Great looking bat-demons! Love when they swoop in to carry off poor unsuspecting guards. Never gets old to watch...
http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/.....cHellflyer.jpg
Succubus by Victor Lee. Sadly, they don't look this... feline in the game, the faces are more human-like, but I really like that they have digitgrade feet, tails and those cool head-mounted bat wings. Plus, well, as it is required for succubi, they are topless.
http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/.....I/Succubus.jpg
Diablo herself... himself... whatever! By Bernie Kang.
http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/.....bloArtwork.jpg
And here is an early design of Diablo - trust me, there were many, a lot of them very different from his first appearances - one even shows him as a snake-like demon.
http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/.....rlyconcept.jpg
Mallet Lord, by Victor Lee. These things are HUGE, and hit really hard, but thankfully, move in slow-motion. (Well, you would too if you had such weights attached to your wrists...)
http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/.....MalletLord.jpg
In-game renders of the Subjugator, and her steed, the Armaddon. (Expect fan-art... and rule34 of this monster in the near future from me... )
http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/.....ddonRender.jpg
Designs of the Subjugator and the Armaddon - and a quite odd early design of their combination (which is nonetheless sexy). All by Victor Lee.
http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/.....dondesigns.jpg
http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/.....edArmaddon.jpg
http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/.....arlydesign.jpg
Armored Destroyer - by Victor Lee. Love these guys, they plummet from the sky like meteors, then unfurl and attack you. They look like armored lizards/insects.
http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/.....dDestroyer.jpg
Terror Demon- by Victor Lee. They are essentially mini-male-Diablos, and they can port around in puffs of smoke.
http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/.....errorDemon.jpg
Not anthro, but here are artworks of Cydea, Maiden of Lust, and Rakanoth, Lord of Despair. Rakanoth does look a bit like some odd shark/sergal thing with two lizard tails and blades for hands, though.
http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/.....eaRakanoth.jpg
In-game render of Cydea:
http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/.....ydearender.jpg
Again - not furry, at all, but sexy - evil witch Maghda, your recurring adversary in acts I-II. She likes moths...
http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/.....III/Maghda.jpg
And lastly, some in-game Act IV (my favourite Act) monster renders:
http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/.....IVMonsters.jpg
From top to bottom, left to right: Corrupted Angel, Armaddon, Armored Destroyer, Subjugator, Mallet Lord, Rakanoth, Terror Demon.

Cheetahmen - the gaming world's biggest false advertising!
Posted 13 years agoI just saw this... apparently, the (in)famous game, Action 52 had a cartoon advertisement featuring the Cheetahmen!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xZ3fVEA8lNE
If you don't know, Action 52 was infamous for being incredibly expensive, and incredibly crappy. Most of the 52 games are barely playeable, full of programming flaws, and often are just rip-offs of other popular games. Just watch the Angry Video Game Nerd's review...
But man, they actually put much more effort into this animated advertisement then into the actual game itself. The three Cheetahmen actually look quite cool! I always fancied drawing them, and now perhaps I will.

Liked Titan Quest? Help Kickstart Grim Dawn!
Posted 13 years agoAs you could probably tell from the sheer amount of nude Maenad, Lamia and other skins I made for the game, I love Titan Quest. Well, while Iron Lore is gone after THQ's budget cuts, the creators of the game have not been sitting idly.
There is fan support and new mods for Titan Quest even today, so about a year and a half ago, they independently created Crate Entertainment, and started developing a new game using the TQ engine and system. It'll be a similar Action-RPG, with multiple skill trees, fast-paced but strategic combat, and great graphics. But instead of ancient Greece or Egypt, it will be set in a victorian-era Earth, where humanity has been caught in the middle of two warring otherwordly factions. So besides magic and swords, there is also firearms in the game.
The game is now in a pretty good shape, but the company (consisting of two full-time programmers and a few part-timers) just doesn't have enough funds to finalize it. So, they have put it up on Kickstarter to gain funding and support, along with a great video that demonstrates the game! They already gained 266.675$ support, and they need to achieve 280.000$ support by May 18 to truly make the game... So if you like Action RPGs, I really encourage you to try and support this game, with whatever money you can spare. I myself already pre-purchased it for the biggest funding option a year ago.

Female Charrs (Guild Wars II) need plastic surgery... :(
Posted 13 years agoI seen preview pics of Guild Wars II, and while I don't like MMORPGs... no, I think that's rather 'hate them with a passion' (endless grind and annoying 'L33T'-talk teenagers) I decided to check it out because of the Charr - they are a playeable race of 3-meter tall feline monsters, who mostly look like anthropomorph, quite bestial lions except for the multitude of horns and the rather silly-looking four ears they tend to wave in a silly pattern.
And then I saw a character creator video for the female Charr:
http://www.gamebreaker.tv/mmorpg/fem-charred/
Get this... Female Charr don't have breasts. You'd think such an animal-like feline race would have multiple boobs, but - no, they have NONE! They are utterly flat, like a board. The sad thing is, even their clothes have a small bulge there, but there is nothing underneath.
Yeaaaah, major fail there. I have pretty much lost all little interest in the game I had.

Fish Chicks from Thundercats! (And much more...)
Posted 13 years agoDan Norton, the art director of the new (and awesome) Thundercats show was kind enough to post the reference art for Captain Tunar's fish-men/women crew (from Ramlak Rising) after I requested it! See Here! They are awesome!
And that's just the tip of the iceberg, he has posted a lot of designs, sketches, and references of characters, vehicles and places from the show. Well-worth checking out!

HentaiFoundry and their lofty standards...
Posted 13 years agoI have been drawing Sailor Moon monsters for a month now, and I already had a HentaiFoundry account, (never posted anything before there), so I thought, this theme could be of interest to them, why not post them there?
Well, the "Do not post more then 3 pics per day" rule should have been an eyebrow-raising moment, but my first Kyurene pic was accepted and I got like 1000 views on the first days... So imagine my surprise when the next two pics (Kyurene's non-adult pic and Thetys) were refused by the staff due to "Anatomical errors and not meeting standards". Huh. Well, I checked the Critique topics in the forums, and as there was such a topic already there, I chimed in.
Read the rest HERE... It's ridiculous.
They ruled out a guy's pic of an insect-girl because it has... FOUR TOES! The horror! Did it never occur to them that a non-human species can have different anatomy?
So, my pic of Kyurene is not anatomically accurate (how these mods know so much a humanoid bat-lady's anatomy is anyone's guess, and I am the biologist here!) but stuff like this is? And don't take it the wrong way, I like that pic and that artist's work, but those hips are physically impossible...
They also found it an 'issue' that I use screenshots for backgrounds, something that again, I don't get... Especially since my first pic, that they approved, also has a screenshot for a background.
At any rate, I guess all he talk I heard about what an elitist snob bunch Hentaifoundry's management is, is apparently true, so I won't bother uploading my pics and hearing how they don't meet the standards. Oh well, their loss.

Someone finally made a good Anubis Warrior Action Figure!
Posted 13 years agoChap Mei's 'Adventure Heroes' Sky Wing playset, while being an obvious The Mummy rip-off, actually did what the moviemakers forgot, and made an awesome toy of the Anubite Warriors from Mummy returns!
There was a planned Neca-style statue, but the company died before it was produced. While Chap Mei is a Chinese company known for producing GI Joe-like knockoffs, it has done some awesome monsters and animals in its Dinosaur Hunters and Medieval Knights series, and the toys are much better quality then what you'd expect from chinese bootlegs - I own a few that I bought as quasi-D&D toys.
I love the Anubis warriors of Mummy Returns (heck, have drawn them too), so I will definitely try and buy one of these sets. The 'scarab' (actually, a stag beetle) looks simply awesome, too.

The Grey - 'Yay?'
Posted 13 years agoSeriously, I thought we were LONG over the negative portrayal of wolves in movies these days, then a movie like "The Grey" comes along...
Spouting bullshit that even a first-year biologist student with minimal animal behaviour knowledge could refute, this thriller shows wolves as bloodthirsty predators who hunt down the survivors of an Alaskan plane crash one-by-one just because they landed in their territory (someone forgot to tell the director wolves protect their territory against OTHER WOLVES, not all other creatures...) There is even a stupid scene where the alpha wolf male 'sends' an omega male alone to attack the humans, which, again, is totally not how wolves hunt if they are ever forced to attack a group of humans out of hunger (which is not the case here, btw...) All in all, I would not be surprised if after this movie, the numbers of wolves shot in north-USA and Canada would rise exponentially, as it gives the audience a totally false presentation of wolves. Thanks again, Hollywood! It's like we are in the eighties again...
As a side note, although I like Liam Neeson, what's up with Hollywood overusing the guy? Lately, he is in like, every second movie shown.

Posted 13 years ago[Fluttershy]yay![/Fluttershy] I am famous!
Seriously, though, my thanks to whoever made this entry. I got to this page looking for an artist some weeks ago, and thought to check my own name, and voila, I am there!
