General | Posted 3 years agoI've got one comm slot open if anyone wants it! I could use the money, and I'd rather be cranking my queue out instead of going out driving in circles.

On another note, I'm gonna be at MFF! Driving up Wednesday and planning to arrive late, leaving Monday. Semi-tempted to make a bid for artist alley, but there are too many good friends I haven't seen in years who are gonna be there, so I wanna prioritize socializing with them.
The next week is gonna be super stressful, as I'm definitely behind on money. I'm willing to take extra slots to make up for it, so my queue might see a temporary expansion over the next few days, or I might do a discounted-sketch stream!
I also humbly ask for donations; I really don't want to have to go out driving in the snow for work, and I'm gonna be blasted by tomorrow's credit card payment, so anything helps. Especially checking out my Patreon, which starts at only $1 a month!

Bank account in the negative
General | Posted 3 years agoWell, it's been a good run. 12 years I've had my bank account and this is the first time it's gone in the negative. And with my current situation getting it back above that line and having enough to pay for my looming credit card bill is going to be extraordinarily difficult.
I really hate to whinge and complain, sorry. I will have commissions reopened soon once my queue is clear, but if you'd like to toss me a few bucks over on KOFI I would greatly appreciate it and remember your support.

General | Posted 4 years agoSo in honor of May the Fourth this year, and to benefit a charity working to preserve people's right to choose, I'll be streaming myself live in Twitch IRL attempting to build the Lego UCS Millennium Falcon! It'll be a long day, but it should be a lot of fun, especially if I can get a good number of viewers
The charity being donated to us the Western Pennsylvania Fund for Choice, Pittsburgh local supporting safe and healthy access to reproductive healthcare and abortion. Given what's going on in my home country right now, I felt it would be appropriate.
There will be a donate button to donate through me to help reach the stream goal, but you can always donate directly to the charity itself through the website! Either way will be greatly appreciated.
I'll be taking tips as well, but I mostly doing this because I really want to build a Lego Falcon.

But I'm hoping I do! I will be under the name of thatgreenfur/cutter, you can find links to that profile in my previous journal. If you see me there, be sure to grab a commission or a sticker! I will be selling both. If you're looking to get a commission at the con of Inflation etc art just ask if I do "premium content". I'll know what you mean. Probably.
In the meantime I would like to offer some pre-convention commission slots so I have something to work on at the con, and some extra cash to get me down there comfortably. It's been a very shitty week, which I went into a bit on that Twitter, so I haven't worked much.

Car battery dead, unable to work at regular job, ugh
General | Posted 5 years agoI feel like I only make journals on this account when I need money, and I hate to do so. This month, my regular job, Uber eats, isn't letting me work because I screwed up my background check. I am back to doing Lyft but that doesn't pay nearly as good.
I'm not able to do either at the moment, because my car battery died last night and we weren't able to get it working this morning so I wasn't able to go to work. This is the third day in a row that I haven't worked, and I have to buy a whole new battery which is going to be expensive.

General | Posted 6 years agoSo I had an amazing time at MFF, which has been karma-balanced by Lyft no longer accepting my Virginia inspection/license/plates, so I can't make any money unless 1. Uber finally approves me or 2. I pay a lot of money to get inspected, and licensed, and plated.
So I could really use a commission or several. I'm desperate, as I'm fucking broke after the trip and suddenly being basically jobless for the next few days at least.
