Death
Posted 10 months agoYesterday evening a dear soul has passed away.
While i may not been all to close to him, nor talked to him much, he was apart of a server i call almost family.
So i felt to write this little thing just in reminder of both him, Cedrick and as a reminder for anyone to reading this.
He was a lovely lad. Good humor and certainly apart of the server culture we have going there. May he rest in peace now.
"Natura non contristatur", Nature is not Saddened.
Life comes to us almost like its a given, we plan to be happy in the future, we plan to do things in the future with somebody, someone or for ourselves. But what is the point once they pass, once you pass? To plan a future that you dont have? Sometimes we focus so much on that where we dont allow ourselves to enjoy the person in the moment more. Sometimes some arguments happen naturally and we are so prideful that we cannot forgive eachother and prolong this conflict for many days until its good okay.
Dont be so focused into one thing, we must appreciate the now we have as well, even when it feels like we barely have anything, there is always something. And then we suffer once we realize what was lost. Nature does not care for timing, nor how it will go..
His death reminded me how life is so very precious. How opportunities can close so unexpectantly. Take the moment you have now, Seize the day, do not trust in the future.. it is best to do what you can now, rather than tomorow where you or someone else might already be gone. Enjoy yourself today. Celebrate a person whenever, rather than just in the future at their birthday. I know its normal to normalize the things we have, we do that naturally. But occasionally remind yourself of it on just how precious friends and people close to you can be.
"Carpe diem quam minimum credula postero"
Seize the day, trusting as little as possible in the future.~
