General | Posted 12 years agoHey guys, we didn't intend to blow up the Hindenburg, we were just minding our own business having a gasoline fight in the cargo hold and WHOOPS what a coincidence.
No for reals though, for a while now I've literally been on this site for the purpose of following and exchanging PM notes with ONE artist who happens to post here who I'm friends with, and for me, posting pictures of that ONE digital sticker
keetahspacecat did for me of my sona looking at British steam locomotives is getting kind of old anyway.
If I ever start drawing Doorworms again (and I'd like to), I'll probably do it on that other site all the kids are talking about these days, though that'll be a longshot given the present upheaval in my personal life that's only going to escalate in the coming months.
Among the world of other nonsense, learning about the mess involving a major site admin sticking up on behalf of someone like Ian Dettmering and warning him that people were aware of his activities would have been more than enough to make me skip town as that subject touches really close to home for me and is totally outrageous regardless, but as I said, I have nothing of importance here anyway, so its not a big deal.
If you're interested enough in my creations and nonsense to be following me here, aside from my website maybe you'd like my Tumblr. My name there is supertrainstationh just like here.
I don't see me saying or posting a whole lot in the future unless something extraordinary and highly unlikely happens, but thanks for checking me out here for whatever reason you chose to do so!

General | Posted 12 years agoI started a little website called SuperTrainStationH.com back in 2008, but I can't afford to keep it online anymore, and unless I decide to sell some personal belongings I intended to keep for a very long time the site will be offline forever in a few weeks time at the longest.

My Little Pony Episode Review
General | Posted 13 years agoI never thought I'd do this, but I did a video review of a My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic episode.
Doing the research for this made me feel like Stu Pickles making pudding at four in the morning and I fell asleep many times in the process, but since this episode is supposed to be educating kids on an IRL issue and i have younger relatives who watch this show I take this seriously beyond the mere opportunity to whine about a kids cartoon I don't watch.
Here it is.

My Opinion on My Little Pony
General | Posted 14 years agoIs it possible to hold something in high regard while being nearly completely unable to stand it?
If so, that's my position on My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.
Seriously, I genuinely enjoy everything about this show except for perhaps actually watching it. Maybe it's because I'm a 23 year old man and not an underage girl and already spent all my children's franchise attention currency on Pokémon.
But as someone with an enormously picky, limited interested in toon critters and cartoons and animation in general, I have to say, even tough it's not my idea of entertainment or something I'd go nuts over as an adult, I really like this cartoon for what it is, and would go as far as to say its one of the better ones out there now, especially aimed at girls.
I like the voice acting, the characters, the animation, most of the writing, even the songs don't drive me insane (which probably added to the reason I never liked the original MLP toon as a kid), in fact I may even think the songs add something special to the show.
If was obligated to watch a little niece for the weekend and she drafted me into watching hours of a flagrantly cutesy girls cartoon and I had any say in the matter, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic would surely be my first choice.
The toys still look derpy as hell to me though.
Oh, and Pinkie Pie is awesome, lighten up haters.

General | Posted 14 years agoSince I actually do have some subscribers/followers here and I haven't art in ages I guess you deserve an update.
There have been few art posts because I've been working nonstop on my novel "The Motorman".
Its nearly complete, but the actual process of submitting it and getting it picked up by a publisher and getting it to a final purchasable book is a long one.
A lot of the art I've submitted here and faved here is related to The Motorman, so if you thought Doorworms and Lunarians were interesting enough to keep an eye on my art and commissions over, you may wanna check out The Motorman as I go through the process of getting it to market, especially since aside from art and some recreational "graphic design" stuff visual art isn't really my strong suit, writing is.
So in short, thanks for checking out my toon worms, but if you like those, you'll probably really love the book I'm writing.

4. The folks over at the Ffestiniog & Welsh Highgland Railway have built a brand new steam locomotive. Brand new. Should be 100% complete in September. That's awesome. I hope new transatlantic airships come next. Use helium this time guys. Seriously.

General | Posted 15 years agoI've had a huge burst of subscribers in my You Tube channel due to E3 activity. And I think I just received my first "nutty" fan correspondence.
Basically someone who already subbed to me was offended by the fact that perhaps five of the nearly 300 people who subscribed and posted comments to my channel were apparent furries and actually demanded an explanation from me.
so just to piss him off I change my icon from gauss (the blue one from my site and all my youtube title cards) one to the "me as a lunarian" pic icarus did for my birthday.
Then he started grilling me asking if I "liked thomas" complaining in detail about the about the "faggotry" of the Thomas fandom on youtube to me (which he knows an awful lot about considering I knew NOTHING of this) and is demanding that I change my icon because "the furry picture ticks him off".
The lunarian&doorworm pics not-fun and spacefag drew for me are (by coincidence) in the background of nearly EVERY SINGLE VIDEO i've put up, i have cartoon worm motifs all over the intro/outro cards and my youtube channel page, why would he subscribe to me and then DEMAND that I change my icon because its "furry" or "ticks him off" or grill me about being involved in a Thomas fandom I have no connection to, yet HE seems to know about in detail, going as far as to actually name secondary characters from the show.
I went on Youtube today just to change my icon back to Gauss, but when i saw that he was still complaining at me for it, I decided to leave it at least a day longer.
Seriously, I got nearly 200 subscribers in the last week alone, does he really think I'm gonna change my channel settings because he's offended by the fact that I like trains and have a picture of me as an alien as my icon which I put up only to annoy him anyway? :P
This is a genuinely jolly and lulzy way to start my day.
Also, I had a silly dream about some blockheads trying to launch a rather large rocket from my backyard while I filmed it. It took off, blew up, and crashed in the street beside my neighbor's house. Then the cops were called. Darnit.
Time for some Golden Crisp.
