Howdy there,

A petition has been created to twin, also known as double, highway 63 in northern Alberta, Canada. A highway that runs between Edmonton, AB to Fort McMurray, AB and eventually to the many Oil Sands facilities of which I gain my employment.

This highway has claimed lives and destroyed families due to the inability of people to realize that saving 20 minutes on your drive is not worth human lives. Boys and girls racing back to the city after weeks and/or months on the Oil Sands and even locals do not have the ability to control themselves after years of the same crap. This effects me because I have friends, family and co-workers that travel this road on a countless basis.

In short, twin 63 because we're all monkeys that drive our trucks, cars, rigs like nobody else matters.

Yup, halfway through February and I feel that yearning deep down in my gut once again. Winter has overstayed it's welcome and Spring is still out of reach. Now for some people that's quite super.. I'd say most people out there enjoy winter sports and the whole season in general. For me, it's a five month test of patience until I can once again plant my ass onto the seat of my motorcycle and rip off into the unusually badly paved unknown. Faster, faster, faster, until the thrill of speed overcomes the fear of death.
