last year it was the last week of december and into january
this year, i'm hoping to extend it backward so it's from the 21st to the 3rd
i know that's on christmas week, but i certainly won't be doing anything else xD
then the next couple years i want to extend it until it's a whole month for my 40th 🥳

regarding my last journal and bringing back heads for stickers
i don't know why i'm trying to do a bunch of characters in the hopes someone would buy some when i can just do them on-demand!
i'm not sending them off to some company to mass-produce them
i do still want a bunch for taking to the local market or somewhere, but for selling online i can just draw any character someone asks for
i'm enjoying working on rune factory 2 characters for now, but i don't think they would really be big sellers... 🤔
what anime/game characters would be good to prepare, and who would be interested in buying some on-demand?

(keep in mind i don't have the sticker paper yet, but maybe next month)

this is a bunch of characters i was going to make into buttons, but soon realised that for any with long parts (like milotic), they would end up so tiny unless i made the button itself bigger for just a few
i didn't want that, so i ended up scrapping it
at some point i switched to doing only pokemon, but there are a whole bunch of other characters sketched up that i really like >w<
recently i've been thinking about trying to make some kind of merch, but knew i couldn't compete unless, i told myself, i work with my own style (as opposed to trying to make a new one...)
that's when i remembered these and how much i enjoyed drawing them back in the day (a lot of them are nearly 20 years old! 0.0 )
so i'm thinking of stickers and maybe keychains for them, how does that sound? :3c
i'll finish the sketches and probably redo a lot of the pokemon to be a consistent style
i think i still want to mimic the original shading for each ip, but maybe simplify it a bit for things like kingdom hearts so that the whole set can look nice together

also welcome to suggestions for more characters, especially if it's a bunch from one thing~

i received some answers for my first batch of questions about the logistics of what i want the money for and sent off another batch, but they aren't as dire

I seem to remember hearing about a company (via MBMBaM?) trying this long ago... how did that turn out? I suspect not well, considering the idea behind it was to lend money to complete strangers with the hope you would get it back one day. This, hopefully, isn't that. Hopefully you know me at least a little.

I'm looking to save up a considerable amount. How much I'm not willing to say yet, not until I find out whether there's any interest (but before accepting any money). I'll make a spreadsheet of everyone and keep track of paying back, and share a personal document per person. Don't trust me with your money? That's understandable. You can buy a commission, if you like. In fact, as much as I would appreciate any amount, and "every little bit counts" still in this case, anything under $50 will be commission-only, as in you won't get your money back. Also I'll see what I can come up with as a style for sub-$20 and -$5. Other commissions *might* be discounted slightly, I'm not sure because I feel like they're already priced rather low for the quality... right? 😭

What kind of style would you be interested in? Should I do YCHs? Drawing your character in another style, like Animal Crossing? Please do let me know~
