Competition Half Over

Just reminding you all that I'm currently running a competition, and that at this point, it's almost half-over! The deadline for submissions of chapters to the interactive is 11:59 (AEDT) on Monday the 31st of January, so if you want to enter, make sure to have your chapters submitted by then!

Upcoming Competition

With my side-projects queue thinned, and the new year setting in, I figured around now might be a good time to re-run that competition I held last May. For those of you who may have missed it, or who weren't following me back there, I basically held a competition where whoever wrote the best chapter on the CHYOA.com Adventures of Texas interactive story would receive a 100-frame animation from me (which I eventually expanded to include smaller second and third place prizes too.)
The competition will start next Monday (Australian time. I'll put up an announcement when it begins with more detailed rules). The premise will be the same this time around, with the same prizes. The only difference is that I'd prefer if people added to storylines in progress. This isn't a hard rule, but last time we had a lot of new storylines that started and just... didn't go anywhere, so I'd prefer that people don't add to chapter 1 of the interactive. That being said, if you think you've got a ripper of an idea and you need to start a new storyline to do so, I won't stop you.
That being said, the interactive is a bit bloated at the moment, so once the competition is over, I will be removing chapters from the story. The aforementioned storylines that don't go anywhere, poorly written chapters, or particularly out there and ill-fitting ones will be removed at my discretion once the competition closes. To be honest, I already have my eye on a few, but I'm willing to give them a chance to distinguish themselves over the course of the competition.
In any case, I just wanted to give everyone a heads-up that this was coming, as I kinda sprung it on people by surprise last time. If you want more details, the previous competition announcement is in my scraps and things will be pretty much the same this time around, but chapters submitted before I announce the official start of the competition will not be counted!
I'm eager to see what you all come up with!

Posted 4 years agoRest of the week will be as normal. We're actually getting to the end of Roxxie's grab animations, so after that and some coding, we'll have a fully completed bossfight!

Sorry for the last minute notice, but no stream from me today. The Covid vaccine's knocked me on my ass a bit, and I also don't really have anything to do. I was dedicating today to bugfixing any reported issues in the Roxxie fight (the base/non grab version has been uploaded on Patreon), but I've already fixed everything reported, and nothing new has come in yet, so I'll put up an updated version tonight or tomorrow.
Also, as is tradition, whenever I upload a demo I take the next week off, which is what's going to be happening here. No streams at all next week, then back on the 6th of September to get started on all Roxxie's delicious, fetishy grabs...

Stream Schedule This Week.
Posted 4 years agoSo, last week I said things would be back to normal this week, and I have proven myself to be a liar! I've slipped slightly behind where I want to be on the Texas project, and want to aim to get the next Patreon demo out by the end of the month, so I will be using all of this week's streams to work on the Texas project. However, I will be using Monday's stream slot to finish off the game over screen offline, so there won't be a stream from me tomorrow.
Hopefully with that cleaned off my plate, I can catch up to where I want to be, and get back to working on both projects ASAP.

Just a quick heads up that I won't be streaming on the new Tuesday and Thursday slots this week, as I instead want to use that time to get Roxxie's Game Over sequence done. And as long-time followers may know, I always do them offline to keep it a surprise!
Should all be back to normal next week, and I'm inching ever closer to a new demo on Patreon soon! Should be done before the end of the month, I hope.

No Streams This Week
Posted 4 years agoHey everyone,
Just letting you know that I'll be away this coming week, so I will not be streaming from now until the 12th, when streams will resume... but not as normal! When I get back I will be switching to a five day a week stream schedule, Monday-Friday every week, and will also be trying to work on a second game project in those two new slots!
We shall see how that goes.
