Wow. It's really been forever, hasn't it? To any followers that stuck around, I must apologize for leaving you in the dark so long. I certainly didn't plan to be absent for two years, but I really appreciate if you are still here and interested in seeing new content from me!

From here on out, I'm going to work to make a comeback in the art world and on social media. I've dropped off from finishing digital pieces more recently due to eye strain associated with my job, but I still do a lot of sketching and dabbling in other media.

To help me get back on the bandwagon, I'll be participating in this year's Art Fight. If you're a hobby artist, join the fray and fight me! Anyone who sends me something this year will at least get a sketch in return. If you aren't an artist, you can still join as a spectator to follow me if you'd like to watch; if all goes according to plan, I'll be doing a few Art Fight exclusive streams.

Besides Art Fight, I'll be spreading things out across my social media accounts, including a few new ones. DeviantArt and FurAffinity will house my more complete works, with the caveats that FA will not have human drawings and may contain more furry exclusive content. My Tumblr and Instagram will be used primarily for unfinished works, WIPs, and sketches. The Instagram will likely showcase the biggest variety with sketches, crafts, and homemade food (not that there's anything there yet).

Hi, all, I'm still alive and scribbling. I was planning to submit a lot online this summer, but never quite finished my prerequisite to-do list, heh. The past few months have been kind of rough-not as bad as last year-but I still lost my house temporarily. A few weeks ago, my hometown suffered some pretty serious flooding. It could have been worse-my room got about 15 inches of water-but my filing cabinets went under, meaning all the originals of my previous commissions are gone. Also, most of my stuff got lost when my family invaded my room to box things up and cut out the walls. Yay. After a week, I finally hunted down my tablet pen, but the power cord for my scanner got soaked, so until I can find a replacement, I can't scan anything in at a high enough DPI to color. I did manage to save the folder of in-progress owed art; I just can't do anything with it at the moment.

In other news, despite that little disaster, I arrived at the Whispering Woods hotel for Mephit Furmeet tonight! I didn't know if I'd be able to make it with all that's happened, but since it was already booked and paid for, I managed to show up. Unfortunately, my ear headband and tail disappeared into a box that I was unable to hunt down this morning, so I'm attending as an ordinary human this time, I guess. If you wanna meet me in person and say hi, I should be attending the Art Jam for a few hours Saturday night. Considering my lack of accessories this year, I may be hard to hunt down, but I'm tall, have long reddish hair and wear a graphic animal shirt with a black skirt most of the time. Also my clipboard is black and orange(that should be easier to pinpoint at the Art Jam maybe?). I don't know if anyone that watches me will even be in attendance, but if you are, come say hi; I don't bite:3

Okay so school's been stressing me out a ton, but I have a feeling I'll have enough time to take a small break between homework assignments this evening. And it just so happens that I left my colored pencils in my suitcase, so I'll be using those!

If anyone is interested, I'll be doing two slots for small colored headshot/bust images. They'll be drawn with prismacolor pencils on approximately B7 size paper and will be slightly sketchy without inked lineart. You'll get something like this but scanned at 300dpi with colors properly adjusted on the computer by Saturday.

Just got back from my first furry convention today, Mephit Furmeet, and all I've got is: "Wow". It might be a kind of small event, but it was far better than any anime con I've ever attended. So. Much. Fun. Like everyone there was super nice and friendly! Plus, the panels were so personal and informative. I just wish I would have gotten more people's names. -w- The only one I got that I can recall was Paddlefoot the epic taxidermist. I also recognized Sleekgiant, as I've done commissions for him in the past. Unfortunately though, I didn't get a chance to talk to him since I only saw him in the parade:T

Anyway, I guess I'm just not used to people being so awesome at cons, as I've only been to those for anime. 10/10 would go back and will go back next year! And if any of my followers here will also be attending, I would love to meet y'all! At this point I just wish there were more of these closer to me ;A;


In other news: "Schooollll, ugghhh." I haven't even had a chance to pick up my tablet in the past two weeks since I've been so busy with classes and clubs. Hopefully I'll get a break to do some art after this Thursday once I get my first math exam and CSC essay out of the way. I reeeeaaallly want to be active here again.

Wow, I've been gone from here a really long time, haven't I? Last submission in February? Yikes. Sorry about that. This year has just been really really rough. College took up far more time second semester than it had in the first, even though I had less hours. I didn't expect to be so busy. At the start of the summer, I took care of all the commissions that were paid for and was ready to start on the wait list when I was hit by one bad thing after another. I'm not going to go into all of it, but the worst had to be losing my best friend. I'm still trying to recover, but honestly, I don't feel any better. Thinking about her still hurts just as much as it did the day I found out she left. To anyone that reads this, please please please never consider suicide. You are so much more important than you think. And you are loved far more than you will ever know. There is always someone out there that needs you.

In more relevant news to my followers here, I'm trying to catch up and finish all of my owed art. In the meantime, I've been trying to improve my style, so hopefully it's at least slightly nicer than it was in the past.

If all goes according to plan, I'm going to try an iron artist challenge when my schedule clears up(and I get my broken tablet fixed). I'd like to donate the proceeds to the Trevor Project in memory of my best friend to help other youth facing discrimination and hopefully prevent them from hurting themselves. No one should have to live in fear or feel uncomfortable for being themselves.

***Also, for anyone that has sent me a note in the past 6 months, my inbox has been randomly deleting things. I've gone back to see who I've contacted and somehow some of the notes are gone now??? Sorry about that! I'm still not quite sure what happened.

Technical Terms:

1. I retain the rights to repost any commissioned artwork for advertisement or promotional purposes on any site where I post my work. The characters in said picture will still be credited to you where possible. Credit will not be shown on banner advertisements and comparable situations.

2. You may post any work that you have commissioned wherever you wish as long as I am credited as the original artist.

3. Commissioned works may not be used commercially unless specifically agreed upon. Commercial use refers to sale as prints or other marketable goods, self-advertising, the making of adoptables with commissioned bases, or other for-profit ventures involving the work. Commercial use may only be permitted if it is discussed and agreed upon in the process of the sale, for which prices will be accordingly adjusted.

4. If you would like to review a commission before it is finished, mention that when you place your order. Otherwise, you will not receive a work in progress image to approve. On average, I only send WIPs for really big commissions and upon request.

5. Payment will be made via Paypal or DeviantArt.* Money may be sent in the form of USD through Paypal as “payment for goods or services.” You may also pay with points on DeviantArt at the rate of 100 DA points to 1 USD.

Content-Based Terms:

6. You may not commission me for adult oriented art. I will not draw sexual images, explicit nudity or most fetishes. I will, however, draw images with blood and gore as well as nude anthropomorphic characters lacking visible explicit details.

7. I will not work without some form of visual reference for the character that is being commissioned. A formal reference sheet is not required, but clear, colored drawings are acceptable. Just know that I cannot draw things that I cannot see, so please include pictures that show all of a character’s markings. Also, although I will not draw any explicit content, I WILL work from NSFW reference sheets, though commissions with such references will take longer to draw as I cannot pull up the reference in a public place.

8. Let it be known that I specialize in drawing feral canine and feline characters. I will do my best to draw any subject matter within reason, but please do not hold me accountable for unsatisfactory work outside my normal field. Subjects that I believe I will be completely unable to draw-like giant robots-I will decline.

*There are also cases in which I may accept goods as payment instead of currency, but they are less common. If you’d prefer such a trade, I’m currently looking for real or high quality replica animal skulls and official Pokedolls to add to my collection. The approximate commission value gained from any item will vary depending on its estimated retail value and importance to me. Send me a message with what you’d like to trade and we can discuss the details if I like the item.
