I guess if ANYTHING else could be different between them. Helena is much more of a Cage Fighter, and depicted more as a Vampiress while her Canine Form is more of a Actress...but still equally Man-Eater lol

Back again with a classic Spirix Rant
Noting Major or important, no alarms, just annoyed venting
Getting it out of my system in a healthy-ish way.

So, I wasted some money on a handful of Portraits to try and get basically a "Panting Dog" type of image.
(Nothing expensive, I am a great bargain hunter)

But, all but one image, seems to draw the tongue small and still mostly in the mouth, even though I have pointed out: WITH IMAGES/PHOTOs as Reference. And, I notice they all look like basic human tongues, and not canine/dog tongue.
Again, I went out of my way to get references, CLEAR VISUALS.....and all but 1 person just insists on drawing a short and small looking human-like tongue.

Are they that hard to draw, even with references (with different angles...but Im detail oriented)
Or they just scary and alien? "To real" like some people say about "realistic Animal-accurate" Junk?

SO FUCKING HARD TO FIND?!

And yes, there are quite alot of them, but whenever I ready for something, they are just gone or unavailable!
And even worse......most are just Wolf or Dragon Artists.....and are both quite expensive.

Only Solace I have, is there is no shortage of Feline / TLK artists...just once again...bloody expensive!
Just sucks they arn't a focus atm.

But LoL just complaining to give SOME activity on my page....and a very light request to see if ya'll know any feral artist I might have missed that might be open..and are NOT Wolf & Dragon Artists
I need variety, Im not part of these Clans XD

The issue was resolved
A firm reminder, I was just venting (being a baby) that my description for a free picture wasnt done correctly, potentially because I opened room for error by sharing to many ref links for an idea.
Its a bad habit born from past commission experiences

Regardless, the artist was nice enough and quick to make the corrections.

Journal will remain for archiving....
Even if irrelevant and frankly childish.
Im not afraid to show Im human
And will not share the artist....

Im just upset and being a big baby here.

Got a free picture (yay) and its for a tiny idea. Provided the neccessary refs n details, but the refs are on a separate image hosting site because I didnt upload them yet.
So because of that, I provided a link to my gallery here on FA, solely as proof I own the character.

Thought I was just covering my bases.
But I get the art (yay) and I noticed the art includes details from his VERY 1st ref, that I didnt provide in my description, that is buried in my gallery.
Part of my description, I posted his new ref (soon to be posted) and, it got completely ignored.

Im looking at this and wondering, if this would have been avoided, if I didnt try to be considerate and link to my gallery as proof of ownership.
Because, doing so, gives people the excuse to ignore my details and just choose what they like instead.

Its free, so I cant complain that much.
But it makes me fume, that I took the time to write something, just for it to be ignored.
Is it My fault for being considerate and linking to my gallery just to prove ownership, and that Im not stealing a character?!

Why?.... WHY do people apologize for flooding my inbox with new uploads?!

For the Longest Time, I used to think this was FUCKING LAZY.....
Literally just taking a Pikachu and saying this is My OC/Fursona.
But, over time, Ive seen some people do fun things and add some personal touches that, actually sometimes make them look really cool.

Digimon: especially Renamon and Veemon.
Pokemon: pretty much every cool looking and popular pokemon gets made into an OC.
Monster Hunter: I dont see them as much, but since Rise, Ive seen a small uptick in OCs (Mainly Palamutes)
101 Dalmations: which, really surprises me, I didnt think the Cartoon created such a Fandom
Lion King: TLK...this one Im slightly apart of, TLK being my fav disney movie, this fandom is FUCKING MASSIVE.

Of course there is more that I haven't listed, but over time I kind of found this kind of neat.
I kind of avoided it for abit, but Im finally starting to stop lying to myself.... -Kaji- is a Fanmade OC of Red XIII.
-His original Art- looks more Feline then Canine, so I was kinda able to skirt around that association (At least in my head) But, Im starting to come around to the idea....as much as Im a Cat-Person, I think I wanna make Kaji more Canine, and stop hiding the fact he's based off of Red XIII....besides...we only see Red XIII / Nanaki, but its obvious that there is more like him

Anyway, Slightly Bored Ramblings, haven't done one of these randomass journals in a while.

Post em, id love to see em! And maybe muse some ideas of combat commissions in the future.

This isn't new, but Im seeing an uptick in people getting scammed by Imposters.
(Following over 10k people W00)

Not like I never got scammed, Im just paranoid now and follow a process so it NEVER happens again. (To the best of my ability) so from my own experience, and from somebody who is paranoid and tries to be uber professional when I commission........some advice.

If you win an auction or comment for a Commission: Custom, YCh/Prepose, and even adopts.
Talk to the artist first about communication. If they are gonna talk to you on Twitter/X, bluesky, Discord, telegram, etc..... ask them to DIRECTLY link you to their page 1st.
Unless you have previously worked with them before, or if you can be 100% sure the person messaging you is the actual artist.

Double-check, look at the people messaging you. To be safe, message the artist on FA (or whatever) 1st to make sure its actually them messaging you. Set up a keyword / safeword if you have to. Its good to be paranoid and safe. Scammers depend on you being ignorant and trusting, and hope you never double-check.

Be Paranoid, be Safe.
Double-check everything, be ULTRA safe, and talk about communication 1st, if they'd rather do things on another site then set up a way to verify its that person.

Dont lose your money, your trust in people, or your passion for things you love because you got hasty and to excited to verify you are talking to the right person.
Make TRIPLE SURE you arnt sending your money to a fraud.

I just want good basics for drawing bodies at least.
Not searching for Perfect anatomy or learning complex stuff like muscles and the skeleton, I need to start small.
And then I can build up to that stuff.

Im getting Very bored of Videogames, They are becoming literally all the same, and even worse, just...boring.
I LOVE action Games, I love my Ninja Gaidens, I Love my Devil May Cry, Ive always loved Call of Duty, Im a huge fan of Tekken....but alot of videogames lately among other games have just been...again, boring. And mismanaged. And even when I have time to play games...I feel like I just dont want to play games hardly anymore.
And often, I get very inspired and get cool art ideas from the videogames, I find myself looking at the design of things more then wanting to play the games....

So, I think its about time I find a new way to waste my time, I want to get back into drawing, and actually getting some REAl practice in. I may not get to the high level that the many artist I watch are at.....but, I want to get into Mild designing, but also be able to draw up things. For fun, and for practice
I could use it for Art examples to, because, I still plan to get commissions. But this will also be a great means of making my own examples and references instead of feverishly reference hunting on google and stuff like I always do.

So again, just looking for some recommendations for just...simple stuff like drawing bodies. And just themost simple basic stuff.
I dont want to draw or Paint studies of statues, I want to Create.
I dont want to imitate life, I want to Create it.....in artistic expression.

Not like I have considered myself a Furry or really part of the Fandom for a very long time.
But Ive been lurking in the middle of it for a while, and it feels like its just become....Drab.

And its hard to tell if because of the politics that have infiltrated and infected the fandom. Or if we just simply grew up.
Just hardly feels fun to even just simply lurk around now adays. The only conversation that seems to happen is Negativity, hardly anything fun.
Not that fun people and convo are completely extinct, it just feels...drained. Joy has mostly bled out in this fandom.

Maybe its just a rough patch.
