I've done bugger all 3D stuffs this month, Rimworld may have played a major part in that, and I want to try making up for it. Something with Trixie to start with I think.

As of this moment typing this I'm sitting pretty on my computer on the western most point of Wales on the coast. Measuring the snow fall by the undisturbed slab resting on the garden table we've had FOUR INCHES of white bullshit. Let me stress again, I'm on the coast. I can see the sea out of a window. The seaside shouldn't be getting snow!

So I'm using the mouse that is replaced which is only mostly f*cked. It'd been f*cking up for a while now and I might, MIGHT have hit it. A little. I mean it could only make it better at this point.

But, and it's a big butt. New Years Eve tomorrow, New Years Day after that and it's only today that my mouse really started dying. So all the shops are shut and even Amazon is taking a break. So AT BEST it'll be Wednesday before I can get my hands on something that I'd be happy to work with.

Also, TF2 with a controller on PC is ehhhhhhhhhhhhh.

For the first time I've been to a Christmas Mass and oh boy do some of the prays and hymns sound cultish.

So today marks when I've finally started the long and difficult journey of rebuilding basically everything from scratch. Yes I could try reworking the Mk.9 but the sheer number of improvements that I could and plan to make would basically replace everything. So why get rid of everything else and do it properly? Plus I get to purge any legacy systems.

What differences will there be in the final renders?
- Lots of small details that would quite likely be lost behind boobage n'butts.
- Some corrected anatomy and some anatomy that hasn't been done at all.
- Hands with working fingers.
- Speaking of hands...

One thing I'm absolutely dreading is re-doing the hands. A prototype rig I made a while back had NINE bones per finger including all the support and control bones. Ten fingers, or eight fingers an two thumbs and suddenly that's LOTS of bones. So for the past few days my internet has been intermittently shitting itself and dying for no good reason. Even when it isn't ding dong ditching Death's door it can't even hold a stable Discord voice chat. Streaming for the foreseeable future is going to be hit and miss, mostly miss.

Yeah... Basically haven't done anything in a month and now I have to dig my way out of this apathetic hole I've dug myself. So the plan is: lots of streams. Bit of an unoriginal plan but it should work.

So first stream will be today/tonight/Thursday. Starting at 23:30 GMT (+/-0). Cooking up a delicious rule 63 shortstack for  Whiteheart. (Un)fortunately long hair will be involved so that'll be fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuun.

Friday stream same time depending on 'weather'. Either finishing off super sexy shortstack or moving onto the super sexy render. Call it the sexy stream.

Weekend streams after a day of throwing stuff around in a shed might be a tad short. I've got various ideas for renders that I'd like to indulge myself with so expect some freestyle.

So for the best part of two months I've soldiered on with a temperamental mouse on which everything seemed to be breaking. Today, no more! New mouse, same model, and a nice mouse mat. Through sheer use I'd effectively rubbed down the surface of my desk until it was uber smooth and reflective. That screwed with the laser in the mouse creating dead zones where the cursor wouldn't move.

And streaming tonight. Procrastinated enough already.

So I've been thinking of setting up a Patreon page in the hopes of creating a more stable source of income for my good self (we_need_more_MONEY.mp4). Now first things first, I won't lock anything behind a paywall except stupidly high res renders and high(er) resolution animations if and when I do them. Lower resolution copies will get posted on FA at the same time. One exception are 'private commissions', strange people, only the commissioners paying biiiig invoices get that...

Did I just mention animations? In all likeliness they'd be short loops unless the money got serious. Not unlike http://www.furaffinity.net/view/12334471/ except with three and half years of improvement.

An ongoing comic is something I've considered multiple times. Something more serious to indulge myself with story writing, character arcs, and boobs.

At no point have I ever thought of giving Blender files with my precious models away. Down that road leads madness. But parts of them as examples, or specially made example rigs of how one might do things could certainly be on the list of things to throw out there.

So where'd all the money go?
- Upgrades and replacements for my computing stuff (fatter CPU for better simulations, replacement mouse for the crippled thing I'm still soldiering on with, maybe parts for a render slave)
- Food and drink are kinda cool I guess

I got myself some premium Picarto the other night for the birthday multistream with  lewded. Though opportunities to stream with them are severely limited and I don't want money to go down the drain. Money is for computer upgrades, porn, food, and more porn! In order of importance.

Alrighty! I have some internets! Ablite fairly shoddy public wifi internet, but a connection to the world as a whole nonetheless Also a connection for sexy prawns but whatever.

So the big day when a peep from BT comes around our house and blesses it with some real internets is supposed to be Wednesday the 31st. The 'five working days' didn't start until the day after we called for everything to be sorted. Which was last Monday. And next Monday is a bank holiday. So five working days magically turned into eight days! Not counting having the wait for the internet peep on the big day itself.

Haven't had much luck with such appointments myself... A 'morning' appointment the other week turned out to be quarter to midday.

Come 7 o'clock in the morning, or when I usually fall asleep, family and I will be piling all our worldly possessions into a massive f*ck off truck and paying some peeps to drive it to our new home. We on the other hand will be piling our most prized worldly possessions into our cars and with some luck beat the truck drivers to said new home.

Even if everyone goes hunky dory smoothly, I'm not going to have my desktop rig set up and connected to the internet for goodness knows how long. No idea how quickly BT gets its arse into gear when users move houses, bt so long as can do it within a week everything will be set for mah birthday stream on the 1st June. Some plans are in the works...

"I was mostly watching the scenery!" says happy examiner. Only five minor faults (you only fail if you manage 15+), three of which I called out myself, and the forth was because I played it safe and took four points in my turn-in-the-road instead of three. Better than mounting the pavement though.

At eight past one in the afternoon, GMT, I shall be taking my driving test practical in order to be judged in the eyes of the law whether or not I am fit to drive on her Majesty's roads in England. For the third time.

Yay! And as an added bonus Blender uses local referencing for linked stuff so my node trees didn't get screwed again! Reinstalling all my games took a while but I didn't reinstall all of them so saved myself time there.
