Introducing Bird Brain Leatherwork
Posted 7 months agoIt's been awhile coming, but I have finally launched my leatherworking business and my online store!
So what is Bird Brain Leatherwork?
Bird Brain Leatherwork is a small, queer-owned, trans woman operated business based in the Seattle area and focused on creating custom and hand-crafted leather products only the finest burnt-out avian furry trash can make. I have collars, cuffs, decorative pieces, ball gags, "wildlife" tracking collars or bands for my fur suiters and therians, and plenty of other projects coming up for sale through this small business.
Each item is hand crafted by me and is made available as a ready-to-ship item, a customizable order, or you can even contact me for commissions on more exotic or specialized projects. Our pre-made items are things I have in stock that are ready to ship in 2-3 business days. Customizable orders are just that, customizable in leather color, hardware, and even the thread used to stitch it all together. Ultimately, my goal is to provide a wide variety of high quality products that are available at different levels of detail and price point so more people can enjoy them. Don't see what you want in the store? Reach out and we can talk about a special commission or even possible new products!
I hope you will all take a moment to check it out and maybe buy something to support this cheeky bird as she tries to make ends meet!

A Little Introduction
Posted a year agoWell I've been telling myself I should do some sort of journal introduction for a few days now, and here we are, finally doing it. I'm new to this site and honestly pretty new too the furry community at least in the sense of trying to be active and find community in it. With that in mind, please feel free to message, shout, or comment on any of my stuff! I'd love to make some new friends.
About me:
Hi I'm Birdy, I'm a trans woman just trying to get by in life and make things a little better around as I go. I'm 32 and currently in the midwest though the mountains will always have my heart. Professionally, I've been everything from a bus driver to a museum writer and generally I just consider myself a naturalist who enjoys when people experience something cool in nature for the first or 300th time.
I'm a very unconfident artist, trying to build her portfolio and get to a point where Im at least consistent enough where I feel like I could take commissions. I'm also a leatherworker slowly building experience in making cosplay, kink, and bdsm gear because its just a lot of fun.
My sona also goes by Birdy and is a Secretary Bird. She can be a lot of fun and I'm hoping someday to commission a suit of her. Till then, I can just get better at doing art of her.
Anyway It's nice to be here, and hopefully I can meet some really cool people and find some good community while I'm here.
