So yeah! Thought I'd update my journal since the last one's about my birthday and that was like a month and a bit ago. So here's an update~

Right! First of all, there's a furry convention near where I live that friends of mine have been attending on occasion that's around... 27th of April? I've been invited to go with a friend and it's gonna cost me a fair bit, sharing the room, admission, spending and travel money are gonna cost me a fair bit. So you know what that means? I'm gonna go commission nuts and I'll post a journal about it later. Anyone interested can look there. Anyone I've yet to finish a commission for, TALK TO ME ABOUT IT. >:C

I'm gonna need... roughly I'unno how much, in the few hundreds really. Possibly $300, Possibly $400, so that's a fair amount of art I gotta do in just under a couple of months. But, I'll be working my arse off so I can attend my first fur con with the very first furry friend I made :>

Another big plan for me! A friend of mine is looking at moving out, moving somewhere up closer to where I currently live, hopefully before the end of the year. Which means I need a job, a car (Or at least a license) and a nice reserve of money. Moving out of home with one of my best mates, who's a fur and fairly popular (understatement of my life) and an awesome guy. I can't wait, but at the same time, I need to really shape up and shift my rear into gear. :3

In three days, on my birthday, I'll be having a buncha people come around. I may appear online, and I'll try to be around as much as I can to talk with you guys, but if I don't respond, it's because I'm doing things. Don't be surprised if I just poof altogether.

I know this is something that should already be known, but still, worth being said. :>

What's the deal with birthdays, eh? One day a year to celebrate the miracle of a long life full of average everyday stuff. Woo-hoo?

In all honesty though, I've no fuckin' idea why I started like that. It's like... 2AM and I'm tired. Which ain't right. I should be feeling dead-ish at about 5-6AM, not now. Anyhow, I like to keep things nice, neat, even even. I'm OCD for neat things. Not in a major way, just little things get to me.

On the 26th of this month, it's my birthday. Why wait until now? Well, for one, it's twenty days from now until my actual birthday. A nice even number, 20, complete with a zero. And two, I only just realise while typing out that first reason that I will also be turning twenty on that day. Twenty days until I celebrate twenty years of being alive... saying that, reading that, thinking that, I'm about to hit twenty and I can still remember my early years in high school wondering what my life would be like once I hit twenty.

Being twenty always kinda... felt older back then. Being twenty was a huge step when I was young, when everyone was. Now I've only got twenty days and... not much has changed. I've made friends, made mistakes, loved and lost. I've righted a few wrongs, I've hurt and been hurt. I've learnt and I recovered that which is important to me.

I've grown, I've matured, I've experienced what life has to offer, and yet, I've not grown up, I'm not mature and there's still so much life has to offer me.

I feel old in my own rights, and it strikes me as strange that most of the friends I've made around here are older than me, and that in ways, I still feel like I'm that high school kid looking up to that twenty year old...


Now... I'm not gonna delete all that, probably because I'm stupid and messed up in the melon, but... eh. It's 2:30AM and I really could care less. After a long night of feeling like crap, this has made me feel better for some reason, I'unno why. :>

As for my birthday... I'unno really. This past year hasn't really felt like a generous time. I'm not expecting much, if anything. All I know is I'm happy to have such made and kept such wonderful friends, there's simply too many of you to thank for being here with me. You've given me a reason to get out of bed, and one day I hope I can repay you in person.

Look! Listen! What I've done is changed some of my IM and Skype alert sounds for new messages and nudges and the like to the sounds of Navi the Fairy from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time. I'm gonna see how long it takes before I lose my mind or hundreds of dollars for a new sounds system.

It's going well so far, I'm giggling madly. Thought soon I think the giggling may be replaced with "tearing out my hair".

Kay, first of all, I wanna try and organise a weekend for like... a bunch of you all, and me, to get in on some online gaming fun! Whatever it may be, Terraria, Minecraft, L4D/L4D2, TF2 (Know a few people who own servers), GMod, Serious Sam... bah.... Call of Duty? I'unno!

What I wanna know is what YOU all have and would like to play! I, me, myself, am trying to grab some money to buy the people who're going to game with us some games so they CAN game with us (But not like $80 games, cheap ones we can all have fun with), as well as buying the gift of game for some friends that really deserve it~

So, like, help me organise a date, some games to play and we'll get it rolling.

"You haven't talked to me in a while I hate you." Really now? I see you as a great friend, we haven't talked in ages and you start off like that? "Hey, it's been a while, what's up?" That's what friends do, not complain. Would have been much better off if we just stayed friends :\

Seriously though, when you're in contact with someone who has 300+ people on their contact list, getting constantly poked by 3 percent of that each day, here's what happens:
With someone like me, I try to respond to everyone whilst doing what I was doing, not letting the people talking with me disturb my normal activities.
I end up getting drawn into a long conversation with one or a few people or so my attention gets drawn away. Or I continue doing what I'm doing and get drawn into that accidentally ignoring those talking with me.

It's hard to deal with so many people climbing over their mothers to talk to you, and it really frustrates me having someone always getting hurt no matter the decision I make. I can't appear offline because the people that have something important to tell me wouldn't know I'm there, and frankly, I shouldn't have to appear offline.


The second half of this is people who complain I don't talk to them enough. 300+ people wanting some interaction with me... now, either the people that complain only have 5-10 people on their lists or they have a huge list like me and do exactly what I do: talk to the people I want to talk to or have something to talk about.

No one here who has a large list of friends can tell me they keep in contact with all of them. There are people on your IM lists, your watch lists here that you don't speak to, that you did once but no longer do. Why don't you talk to them? Why don't you make an effort? The people out there who delete who they don't talk to do that to remove guilt of not talking to them, so they don't have to look at a list everyday and say "Jeez, so many people I don't talk to, I'm just like the people I hate for not talking to me."

You want a more organised IM friends list? ... there are buttons to create a group to put contacts in. That's what I've done. So what if I prioritise? So what? It's not hard to become someone I'll talk to on a regular basis! It takes two to tango AND NO, poking me every so often with a dead end conversation like "Hai, how are you, good, me to *In character actions*" is not input. I can do the same, but I don't roleplay. And you can't come to me complaining that what that is there is an attempt at conversation. It's not. It's a greeting that's gone no where. You've poked me for the sake of poking me. If you dare use that elongated poke as evidence to back that you're trying, think again.

I'm fine to roleplay if you manage to make something flick on in my head. Generic hugs and cuddles and silly behaviour does not get me in the mood. I'm never in the mood to roleplay. :\ Nothin' against you all or anything, I just don't like roleplaying.

PS. For those of you who stop trying, why should I keep trying? What does that say to me? Shows your someone with very little faith/tolerance/care for friends.

Yus, I'm posting a little update here for  zephyx because... well, I'll explain!


Zeph has been doing fine lately... okay, maybe not. He's moved out of his parents place and down with his grand-parents where he's now working for his grandpa in his liquor store. Things there have been fine, a little rough on him, having to deal with drunks, idiots, rowdy teens and people who shouldn't be allowed to live (Rowdy teens).

Due to his work and sleeping schedule, Zeph's only free time is in the hour or so before and after work, and after work he... more or less just passes out.

Recently, about two days ago, Zephyx suffered a stress induced heart attack while working. No, I'm not joking, I'm serious. Yes, I almost had a heart attack when I heard he did. But he's fine though so nobody freak out. He had a doctor look him over, do a few tests and sent him home with medication. Yes, things will be changing, I'll be making sure he gets a healthier schedule in line and stuff. He'll be fine, he's in my care and if there's one thing I do best, it's taking care of the ones I love.


So, to any of you who have been wondering why Zeph's so quiet and all, he's just been busy at work. Real busy.

Puttin' my rear in gear. I've got a list I want gone. Time to doodle! Game on!

Which means I will probably be streaming quite often, and being on skype and all. Commissions will still be taken as I want all this artwork gone.

To all those who have commissioned me for artwork, and all who plan to, I am rethinking my prices and whether or not I will still do commissions.

From now on, the only commissions I will take will be on the spot stream commissions. Though, that does exclude  carcar and the other two I've yet to do.

During the next week, I plan on Streaming at this time every night. Commissions will come cheap, dirt cheap. Depending what you ask for, line art for $5 cheap. Maybe even flat colour for $5. Until then, I'm going to draw what I feel needs to be drawn and what I want to draw and the commissions I have to finish. I need to continue to experiment with my style, as I'm not comfortable with what I have. It's fine, it just... doesn't give me the results I'm looking for just yet.


Until I write up another journal about my commission pricing, consider the last ones void or at best, an estimation of something I have to go flat out for.

Basically, my little brother got a virus on one of our computers. He didn't listen when I said I can't/don't want to fix it. He raged 'cause I got frustrated at him not listening.
