Why I've been away lately

Basically... not only being distracted by gaming and what not, there's a few things that have happened that kinda changed my view and stance in the fandom. After I returned home from a pretty friggin' awesome FurDU con, where I met a few friends for the first time that I never knew were showing up, as well as seeing and tending to  Mackenya while he was suiting (His suit and hooves are beautiful and soft <3), after all that, I kinda... felt an appreciation for good clean friendly fun. Yeah, I have no problem admitting that I had fallen into an almost purely sexual relation to the fandom and what not, but coming back just made me realise just who I was, and I want to change that.

So basically, since then, I've been trying to get a proper footing on my life. I've been working towards getting a job, getting some money coming in as well as getting my artwork stuff organised.

I want to play a bigger role in this community, not just for the fap-addicts that come to me hoping for some more fap material. I want to improve as an artist and improve as a member of the furry/vore community. As such, I've been branching away from Eka's Portal due to the sheer number of people there for the porn.

Though, having to replace my hard drive has made it kinda... difficult, now that I have to go redownloading everything. :V Got most of it back now, so I can make some proper progress, what with all that extra space.

What I'm currently up to

So far I've been practicing on my artwork as well as... well, redownloading all of my games and music. It's a loooooooong process as I had a looooooot of games and music. Most of the music was recovered, though only my important/favourite games have been saved. Let it be known that Windows 8 hates your games. Nice system, hates gaming. :C

Apart from that, I'm just trying to get all my work related stuff in order. Organising my paper work, getting contact references and just some footing to help land me a job I'd accel in, so most of my time has been kinda divided, and I've got a bit of a shorter temper.

Artwork status

I'm aware that I have quite a few pieces of work LONG overdue. I'm... fuckin' horrible at getting these things done without motivation. I can barely draw without some kinda drive, along with feeling my artwork isn't satisfactory drives me nuts when doing commission work.

I know there are people waiting, and I know there are people who don't have the time to sit and chat with me while I draw for them, so... Well. Here's what I'm going to do.

I'm going to start streaming commissions again. I'll put up a journal and post about an hour in advance of the stream, and one more when I start streaming. I plan to do this every Friday to show off work of my own, get some practice and hopefully help anyone watching decide if they'd like something while every Saturday I'll stream for commissions.

To those that I still owe commissions, I will offer refunds equal to the work I have done or variable amount of sketch/line pieces, depending on what exactly I owe. Or, poke me when you have time to spare and I'll spend the next however long you have drawing things for you, including what you paid for (meaning that if I finish the commission, I will sketch whatever you ask for free for a while) This can be negotiated, all I want is for you to be satisfied.

I've been very poor with my commission conduct, I've left a lot without a word, regardless of my reasons, I shouldn't have. The upshot here is I'm getting much better and am much more satisfied and pleased with my style and work, much more so than some of the crap I was making a couple of years back, so you'll actually be getting -good- art from me this time around.

Comic/Contest/Commission Thoughts

I've been watching the world of commissions evolve around me with a few friends and have watched some trends arise. Some I'm not overly fond of, though some are fairly effective ways to make some money.

Your Character Here and Auctions in particular. I'm interested.

Now before you start lighting your spears and arrows on fire, hear me out for a second, okay?

Even though I might take a stab at these, I wholy don't believe in making more money than I deserve. Granted, I'm fine if someone wants to throw in a tip for my services, but I don't want any auction I may hold quadrupling the price I deem my work actually being worth (not that I believe that'd happen).

-IF- I do hold an auction, there will be a buyout price, a cap, which will usually be the price I believe I'd be making you pay if it were a commission. As a lot of you may not know, I price based on a case by case basis as I'm... fairly inconsistent with both my methods and outcomes. I like to price based upon what I produce as well as how much of a hassle it was to produce. That being said, all the standard 'extra/complex characters, backgrounds, colour' prices do count, though if anything the price will LOWER, and I don't allow myself to charge more unless more is asked.

Basically, my auctions will be open commissions you could get cheaper if no one beats your bid. And some info on my normal commissions, I kinda have set prices, but they discounts come and go.


I've also been interested in running a few competitions/contests with prizes, like artwork from myself and possibly some others. Though I'm not all that versed in making ones relating to artwork and story lines and other such things, I felt maybe some gaming related contests would be a better idea, in which I set objectives to which players compete to complete to win.

One of which is Terraria. I've spent a while thinking it all out and I feel I've come up with a goal, all I need is to think up appropriate prizes and how many players there will be. And just how many my server/connection can support. >_>;

Either way, I'd like to know if anyone would be interested in seeing me start holding such competitions. Means gaming fun and artwork in the end, as I don't want anyone leaving without something to show for it, all participants will recieve or be included in something. If I get a lot of yays for contests, I'll write up another journal with contest information and get to setting it all up.

Do not attempt to roleplay with me.
Flattering as it is when I'm told Solid's really sexy and his dick looks so delicious, I'm REALLY fucking tired of people contacting me wanting to roleplay, especially when you have no clue about me, my characters or what you want to do.
I don't know you, why would I want to roleplay with you? I don't, because I don't know you, so don't ask. I seem to only enjoy playing with good, close friends of mine, I have no interest in roleplaying with someone I know nothing about, and just telling me what you like and what your character is isn't getting to know you.

Though let me be clear. I'm happy to meet new people. I enjoy making new friends. I'm fine talking about whatever fetishes you have, what you do with yourself, what kinda RP's you have. That's all fine and dandy. S'cool, I can dig all that and more. But if you have to ask me if I want to roleplay, the answer is no. If you DO ask me for a roleplay, the answer will be no. If you continue to ask me for roleplays, the answer will probably continue to be no.

If you only ask me for roleplays, you probably wont be on my contact list much longer. :V


By all means, I'm not AGAINST roleplaying. I enjoy it, good bit of fun when the time comes. Good for building character and just messing about, just not with people I don't know, characters that don'tIf I want to roleplay with you, I'll come to you. Fair enough? Yeah. I'unno, I'm starting this journal like this. 'cuz I can.


Anyways! I've gotten a lot of lovely new watchers and I just wanted to put a few things out there. I'm more than happy to talk with just about anyone. Whether you wanna be friends, critique my work, do some trades or commissions or come question me about anything either you, a friend or I have knowledge about, I'm all good.

But there are a few things I want to put out here for anyone wanting to get into contact with me to see.


1. If you wanna start a conversation with me, please don't send me a note with "Hi there." as the only thing in the message fields. If you want a casual chat, my IM addresses are on my userpage. You are free to add them. If there's one thing I don't like it's a near unlimited character limit on a mail based system not being used in that way. If you wanna conversation, IM me~

2. If you add one of my IM addresses, please tell me who you are or let me know over FA that you're the guy with a name that I don't recognise that's added me. Else I'm gonna be pretty cautious and seem fairly cold to you.

3. If you added me on steam, please... PLEASE. If I am playing a game, don't come asking me what I'm up to. Don't come starting a casual conversation. I'm playing a game. Like... c'mon. You're welcome to come join me and stuff and talk to me about that but when I jump on a game of Left 4 Dead 2 or something, don't ask me what's up or how I'm doing. I'm killing zombies with goofy mods.

4. Please pay attention to my status. If I'm set to away, most likely up and about doing things around the home or drawing or something else. Do Not Disturb means just that. I'm fine with leaving a message in hopes I'd catch it, that's fine, just don't expect me to keep a full conversation going when I'm preoccupied. Though, on steam, the only thing you should pay attention to is whether or not I'm in a game. Steam just... loves to randomly change my status so I've just plain ignored it.

5. Please, give me time to wake up. If I just jump online, don't expect me to be responsive. Give me a little while to go get something to eat and drink and get some clothes on. Lemme catch up on things before bombarding me with a million messages. @_@

6. Do not send me links without letting me know what's in it. Also, do not send me links on a constant basis. I will end up ignoring you if our conversations have more link spam than actual conversation.

7. Don't -EVER- expect me to roleplay with you or even want to. I DO NOT roleplay regularly. I do not go looking for roleplays. If I wanted to roleplay with you, you'd god damn know it. Again. Do NOT ask me for roleplays and do not try and work me into one.

As some may have noticed recently, I had my account suspended for 3 days.
As most of you may know what caused my suspension, I've come to elaborate on the whole fiasco. There is a TL;DR at the bottom so skip on through if you want.

I've spoken to many people, mentioned the suspension to have gone right off at the FA administration and how stupid it is and blah blah blah, you know it all already. A lot of you mentioned how it was stupid that I got suspended because someone else has problems with me. And some of you made this real convoluted argument against the administration that just confused me.


Let me clear some things up for everyone.


I had been suspended for creating a call-out journal. Which isn't allowed. And I got into trouble, which... y'know, is completely reasonable. I broke the rules.

The FA admins are not dumb or faggots or anything for suspending me. It is their job to find people who are breaking the rules and serve out punishments they deem fit. And if someone they missed had been brought to their attention, or someone is causing particularly large problems for however many a people, it's their job to come on in and... do their job. So don't blame the administrators for my suspension. Though, yes, they did suspend me, it was my fault for breaching ToS. And don't blame the people who reported me, it was in their rights to do so.

With that out of the way, lets get on to the fun stuff. :D


Something I'd like to bring up from my last journal is this: My suspension does nothing more than cement everything I had written. A call-out journal, specific to one of course, but no exact reference to who that person is, merely statements on what they were doing against me and all the bad shit they do was enough to class my journal as... well, naming and shaming despite not giving any names. All the bad things I wrote about them was enough for even the administrators to agree that I was too accurate with my accusations, or at least is how I interpret the means behind a punishment on an otherwise unnamed call-out journal. Should watch my words a little more closely I suppose.
^ Also isn't a callout, so don't have a cry.

But that's not what I'm here to talk about, anyways.

Let's talk about what this actually means to me.
Three days.

Three. Days.

My fucking life is over. I have 300+ submissions to go through and I lost eight fuckin' comments on that journal I didn't get to read. I should just give up and cry myself to sleep because someone reported me.
^Also not a call-out.

....looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooolno. A slap on the wrist as a reminded that FA is watching. Nothing more. Which, obviously, I'm going to do. I'll keep my hate and problems and call-outs off of FA and... maybe link it to a tumblr or some other website.

A three day suspension due to an accurate journal. All I did was laugh. All my friends did was laugh and... well, say how stupid it was that I got suspended due to calling someone out. But laughed mostly.

Just laughed and laughed and laughed. And gamed a fair bit to. And drew things, which I'll be posting soon enough! Thanks to this whole thing I was able to sit down, finish up a commission, help someone improve and learn more about drawing. I even got my Spy groove back in TF2! I dare say this suspension was pretty damn great.

TL;DR I got suspended and now I'm back lol. Got some art coming, things have been great since the suspension.

Been a few days, thought I'd update, let everyone know what happened and all, for those who're curious.

Okay! So, let's start off. I got hugs from and some money. My good mate Richard came around early on in the morning and the three of us, along with took each other on in Soul Calibur V. They... are tough, very tough. But Aeon prevailed for me... mainly because I made Aeon have Seigfried's style... for those of you who don't know, You're not supposed to be able to change the style of the pre-made character's weapons or styles... :D

We had some good games, played it for a while, smashed each other. They're all very tough, I won a few rounds, probably lost more than I won x3

Anyways! After that the rest of the peeps showed up,  Mackenya included. I think after a while of chatting with my cousins and friends, we got onto playing Chivalry. God it was pretty damn fun. I took out the filthy peasants, threw axes at Taigon, then we all ended up in an arena in a hand-to-hand brawl. Oh, and yelling. We were all yelling. Thanks to a friend, , I've adapted his style of gameplay, and it's so daaaaaaamn fun. Here's how it goes.

Pick the Man-At-Arms class.
Flank enemies.
Target unaware archer.
Beat archer to death with your damn bare hands.
"Looks like the peasants have risen up; found swords."
Flee from the other classes now giving chase to you.
"No! No sir! H-Help! Help me!"

After about an hour of ^that^, we called it quits for Chivalry and moved onto TF2! I may be rusty but apparently I can still piss people off as spy. So... I'm happy. After some warmups, we jumped on Mann Vs Machine mode, on Wave 666. With Seven people, we... still couldn't beat it. That wave of spies is just to fucking intense. I didn't die to them, but my cousin was my medic. He saw me run out of ammo as the heavy while I was under his Ubercharge and both our thoughts were "Yeah... someone's gonna get stabbed."
As soon as his charge dropped, he got stabbed, and I had to fend off four more spies with nothing but my fists.

So then, after getting raped by spies, we all went to get a late lunch and after a few hours of us all doing our own thing for a bit, which usually was watching Richard and Taigon have at each other on Blaz Blue, we threw Killing Floor about and... that was a beautiful time. I was poppin' some mean dome shots with the Anti-Material Rifle they added in. I felt kinda noobie for grabbing such a weapon, but, everyone but myself and another friend had only just started the game so they were without the perk levels and damage boosts so... I had to. I had to try and carry. Ironically though, half the time, I was first one dead.

The whole day was pretty darn brilliant. A bunch of mates ended up bailing on me for family things, but that's fine. The day went off with only slight delays inbetween games, but otherwise, it was bloody brilliant.

Again, thank you to those that came, even though only a few of you are going to see this, and thank you very much to everyone who poked me and wished me a happy birthday. <3

Well, it's been a while since I've posted a journal, and I figured I'd answer a question I seem to get almost every fuckin' day. I'm sure many of you can relate and I'm sure many of you are one of the people who ask this question on a regular or occasional basis.


"Do you want to roleplay with my character?"


Now, I understand there are many, MANY reasons as to why someone would ask me this. You like my art and want to get some. You like me and want to get close to me. You find my characters hot/sexy and want to get off on a scene with them. You've seen me around, know people who know me and you wanna get to know me better, be friends.
Whatever you're reason, that's okay. I understand. But I figured I'll answer your questions about roleplaying with me globally to anyone who wants to know.

I do enjoy roleplaying, but to the question up there, my answer is no. No, I do not want to roleplay with your character and by extension, nothing about your character interests me. If it did, I'd have talked to you first. However! If you actually have something you want to do with me in mind, and it's somewhat thought out and doesn't rely on "You for some reason feel attracted to me" I'll probably play with you. I honestly don't have much if any interest in people I don't know, and I much prefer to get to know someone before I play with them.

Why do I think and feel this way? Simply because I am sick to death of having people on my contacts list who do nothing more than greet me, ask for a roleplay, then go silent. Nothing enrages me more than that, than every time I talk with certain people all I get is a "Think we can do a scene or something? No? Okay. *Silence until a few days later, rinse and repeat*"


I will probably roleplay with you if you are NOT going to be that person who ONLY wants to roleplay with me, should I see you as that, I'll become fairly unresponsive and blunt. I'm not here for your needs to roleplay.


(Also, if something in here doesn't make sense it's because I got interrupted several times while writing this and couldn't be fucked to go back and rewrite this.)

If your OC scored around here, then they are probably quite a well-balanced and interesting character. Those scoring in the higher end of this category may be a bit too much though.

16-25 -Borderline Mary-Sue
We have a problem. You need to tone your character down. They are most likely a bit annoying to others, too.

So... yeah, I've had that FurDU journal up for a while now, thought it might actually be a good idea to get a little more informative x3

FurDU was great, especially for the first con I've attended. Everyone there were very nice and friendly. The events organised were really enjoyable and I got to meet up with some pretty cool peeps, Like  mackenya and  osmosis.

As some of you may know, I was supposed to be staying with  Ranger and  xJayne. Unfortunately though, Jayne wasn't able to attend, she caught some flu that was going around and had to head home. Wasn't until like... what... 10:30 at night until I could get into the hotel room because Ranger had to take Jayne home and ended up coming late. Was cool though, ended up hanging with Mag and Mack for a while until finally meeting up with Ranger. We were also supposed to have another person share the room with us, but we didn't meet him until the second day or so where we found that he got a place to stay at the last moment. So you know what that means? Ranger and I shared a room for four nights. Just me, him, double beds. Oh the naughtiness we got up to. :V

Seriously though, Ranger's a pretty awesome guy, infact pretty much everyone I met there were just as awesome, and I really enjoyed hanging out with everyone. Only downside is that it rained a fair bit, and we didn't get to go see the Avengers like Ranger and I had planned on. And I still haven't seen it ;~;

Since the con, I haven't been doing much. Trying to figure out a plan for my life, what I want to have and how I should go about getting it. I've been working on a lot of art pieces as well, trying to develop my skills a little more. Every time I get somewhere satisfactory with my work, I start on something else and immediately realise it's not what I want it to be. That's the main reason why I don't want to work on commissions until I am sitting at a nice, decent level because if I start and it's not satisfactory, I won't want to touch it or finish it. At the moment, I'm going well and am very happy with what I've been up to. Style is looking good to me, I'm progressing quickly and I'm enjoying doing what I do.

I'm ready and happy to work on commissions, to anyone who wants something from me, give me a poke an I'll have something sketched up. Just try and keep in contact so I don't forget. I won't forget if you've paid of course, and if I have forgotten, give me a bump and I'll finish up as soon as I can.

Was fuckin' great. Met  taluthus,  aimeebunneh and their friend, and  ranger as well. We went to the Arcades which was... a little underwhelming on the arcade's behalf. Didn't really have anything good there so we watched Tal just win fuckloads of tickets XD Then we just hung out and talked for a while. It was great~! :D

PS, Tal's eating habits are the same as his characters. Fast, merciless and kinda messy, though he leaves not a trace of his meal... ;D

So yeah, in a few days I'll be heading up to FurDU and I'll be staying with the lovely  xjayne and one of my best mates,  Ranger. It's gonna be something incredibly new, seeing as this'll be my first ever furry convention and will be the first time I get to stay with the two of them. Well, technically not, I'm actually heading out to Brisbane city tomorrow to meet up with  Taluthus and  aimeebunneh, along with Ranger for a movie and dinner, and as far as I've been told, Aimee has restricted Tal from eating anyone sooo... Yeah. If anything, I'll be coming home happy at the least. x3

Fuckin'... god damn. Even though I'll only be able to spend like... four - five hours with those three, it's gonna be amazing to meet up with friends I've known for yeeeeeeeeeeeeears that I've never met in person before. So damn excited XD And then spending FurDU with Ranger and having awesome funs, my gawd 8D

Soooo yeah, excited about meeting my mates, but when it comes to the convention... I honestly don't know what to do there. I'm stumped. I know there's things to do but I really just wanna hang around with my friends. I wanna be happy with peoples, not by myself ;~;

Oh well. I'll deal with that once I get there. Fun shall be had! :D

Yes, I want to take in a lot more commissions, and no, I haven't forgotten about the ones I still have to do. So, here's what I'm gonna do to make things easier for everyone.

Once it hits the 10th of this month, I'll have at least forty days to amass the money I need to go to Furdu.. or... however you spell it. In the lead up to these, I'm offering up to forty slots for commissions. Sketch, lineart, full colour, you name it. First come, first served style of progress.

How would I go about guaranteeing myself a spot on your commission list, Solid? Simply follow these basic guidelines and you'll probably be sure to get a spot, I will let you know if you do, or don't.

Step one. Open up a new note/email/pm addressed to me.
Step two. Write out in full detail what you would like to see me draw for you. Make sure to include details like character name(s), reference sheet(s), explanation of the situation (if you're wanting vore or sex or something, no need to be overly detailed), poses and thoughts you had in mind and possibly references to such things. And please, If your commission involves someone elses character, I would like to hear from them they have permission to be involved.
Step three. Contemplate how much you're willing to spend, and how much my work means for you. I'm not a complete scumbag with money, especially commissions, and my prices are rather flexible. I have base prices in which I go by (Based upon many commissioners suggestions) though depending on complexity and so on, prices may change. IE A detailed colour piece from me with a single character with a simple pose may very well cost less than a detailed colour piece with a detailed background featuring some action scene with special effects. Keep in mind what you're asking, but never be afraid to ask.
Step four. Keep that money aside for when I'm FINISHED. I REALLY hate getting money before I finish my work so please, hold onto it until both you and I are satisfied with the work and until I give the okay to send.

Wait, what's that? What about the older commissions I've that I've already been paid to do, or have already had organised to be done? Well you're not forgotten of course, and you've been waiting for a long time, so, you people are free to change up whatever ideas you had to something more to your current mood. Then, do the same thing everyone else has to do (sending a note with all the details) and you'll be placed higher on my list. If there's no change, send it on in anyways.
