Three-Day Trades (Edited)

So, It's been hard to get my artwork motor running to push along with the things I've got laid out before me. So I thought this would be the best way to start pushing myself into the right mood.
Yes, fuck you depression and feelings of being taken for granted, I'm still going to do things for my friends. And by friends, I mean the first '#' of people to respond to this within two hours of the post.
Essentially, we trade, right? Here's how it goes. You tell me what you want to see me draw, and I'll sketch it there and then, right on the spot. You also have to make me laugh and/or smile ('cause it's so much better drawing while you're happy, amirite?) You don't have to, but, it'd be nice, y'know?
Depending on how many I get, I may or may not start inking them tonight. But tomorrow will be dedicated to inking unfinished works. ('Cause I'm gonna stop playing TF2, coincidentally, around the same time loadouts drop out for maintenance.)
As for your part of the trade? It's going to be simple. I will tell you nothing. I will ask for nothing. I will give you absolutely no hints on what I want, except this: The only thing I want from you in return is your own original art. I don't care if it looks like horrible scribbly crap ('cause all my drawings start out as a bunch of blue/red undefinable scribbles), I don't care if your skills aren't up to scratch either. All I care about is having something from someone from their own mind, their own hands by their own initiative. And no, colouring my/someone else's art for me does not count.
My art will get to being lined, and that is all. So don't come requesting a huge epic picture with three characters going at it and expect it in full colour. Keep it simple, limit yourself to two characters, three if absolutely necessary. Nothing overly complex. Comics are okay, just nothing complicated or dialogue heavy. These are supposed to be done quickly. I don't want to spend hours sketching one person's trade.
That being said, Don't push yourself to the extremes for me. Do what you think is fair. Do what you can, do what you like. Be silly, be kinky, be compassionate, it's up to you.
If I don't get something from you by the end of the three days your art will not be finished or delivered. That being said. You don't need to finish. It doesn't need to be flash. It can be sketched or lined so long as it is presentable. Decent. If you happen to finish and hand it in before I finish, I'll finish to your standard.
Please Provide Refs where necessary.

The MSN client I'm using now works fine and dandyNO! I did not update to the new one. Just flicked a few things on and off and now the one I already had works.
Trillian won't sign into MSN though.
So, from here on out, I'll probably only be on my AIM account and chaos_of_gavin@hotmail.com, which is my main MSN email.
And without much more delay (TF2 >8C), I'll be drawing all week. Finishing what I said I'd I would.

Well, that's a lie, it's going to be short ENOUGH and probably no where near as sweet as... anything.
Since the last time many of you have heard any relationship stuff from me, in a journal ages ago, it was good, right? Well, here's the thing.
Surge and I haven't been together since... uh... what... five, six months now?
Yeah, you heard right. Second time didn't work. Flopped. But we moved on.
...
That was until last week, where my emotionally hurt side kicked in and uh... killed our friendship. I lost it, at him, got filled with pain and anger and lost control of myself. In some ways, it's his fault. In the other 100% of ways, it's mine. But I'm moving past that now.
Instead, both Surge and I have decided it's time we both part ways and lead our lives seperately, away from each other. Not talking, no emails, notes or anything. Just... gone. It hurts to be around him and I'd imagine it's the same for him, if not a whole lot more.

So... both he and I agreed. We don't want art of our characters together up anymore. If anyone's noticed a bunch of art having been removed, that would have been everything I've done for Surge. He had the two recent commissions I got for him removed and... I'm imagining the same for anyone else who has done us gift art and has it posted will be asked to have it removed.
Nobody needs to avoid anyone, no body needs to go raging at anyone, no one needs to do anything at all. No need to do anything but respect that talking about one to the other could cause some unwanted... stuff. For sure, I don't want to talk about Surge, or hear about him unless it's absolutely important,
And I can't speak for him, but I imagine it'd be appreciated if people were to tread carefully around the subject of me. And this subject too.

All in all, I've had a lot of fun with him over the timespan I've known him, and a lot of pain as well, but moreso fun. I can't deny that he's a good person and is great to hang around, but the stuff that happened between him and I set our friendship on fire.
So, watchers, friends and family alike, this is my official public goodbye to Surge.
Enjoy life and have a good one, Mate.
P.S.: NO, IN RESPECT FOR SURGE, I WILL NOT TELL YOU WHAT HAPPENED.
I seem to have come off as terribly upset c.c; Thanks for your concerns, sympathy and support, but really, I'm fine. Okies? Thank you, not needed but greatly appreciated.

Be seeing a lot less of me
Posted 15 years ago'Cause for the next month, my work schedule has been set for half an hour earlier. So...
I get up at 7AM, have to get to work by 8AM, takes 15 minutes to get to work. And for someone who makes a habit of going to bed at 2-3AM, It's a struggle to stay awake at work. Don't get me started on waking up.
So for those of you who wake up super early just to see me, or just happen to talk to me at a super early time, and it happens to be mega late for me, you won't be seeing me all to much. I'll be heading to bed at about... 10 - 11PM each night for the next month.
Which also means that I'm going to really kick my arse into gear and pump out those drawings. Considering the fact that I've added nearly... ten more things to the list, and I originally had planned to finish sketching them all last week and ink them this week... yeeeeaaaaah. I'm going to hurry this up.

So here's what happened today. Please read.
Posted 15 years agoFrom the very moment I woke up, I was stressed and panicking. My alarm clock didn't go off, woke up half an hour late, had a shower, breakfast and showed up at work 45 minutes late.
It was raining all day. Kept cutting my hands and banging my knees against things and dropped a keyboard on my toe. My boss came in, I almost shit myself, 'cause he's been in three times since he employed me. Said I was doing well, but there have been complaints about me not working, which is a total crock.
Then, just before the day ends, I read something that frustrated me and added to the stressful day I was having, I felt my head was going to explode.
I get home, talked to a friend and got a wonderful little gift from
htfcuddles. Though, the talk with the friend went south quickly. I cut open old wounds, Deep, old, traumatizing wounds to let another friend know why I don't like some things.
So then I open iTunes to hopefully have some uplifting music. What do I get? Shamandalie by Sonata Arctica, and the computer freezes while the song still plays. I couldn't even open task manager to stop that song, it's the last thing I needed to here. Want to know why? Shamandalie = Sham and a lie. Get it? Listen to the song, or read the lyrics.
Turns out that a week of smiles, generousity and kindness to as many as I could could be brought down by all that. And by brought down, I mean, while listening to Shamandalie, I fell to my knees and started bawling my eyes out. My bin is full of tear soaked tissues, and it was just about empty this morning, my shirt, pants and floor are stained with my tears and to be honest... I want to scream, I want to bludgeon someone to death and pray to god a zombie apocalypse happens in the next thirty seconds because I swear to all of the universe that I'll kill everyone who even looks at me funny tonight. And I mean everyone, no exceptions. At all.
For the few of you I currently have issues with, I'm sorry about caring for you so much. I'm sorry I hurt every and any time I see anything that is somewhat threatening to your health happening to you, or a representation of you. If you don't want it, I could always walk away and leave you alone. You just need to say so. Otherwise, I'll love you down to the very last drop of blood in my body, until the last drop falls, and I'll never stop caring for you.
Look that song up. Last Drop Falls by Sonata Arctica. Seriously, if you all actually care for me, look up this song and the other song mentioned before.

Posted 15 years agoI have been, and don't plan on stopping commissioning art for people. Just so we're clear, when I say "commissioning art", I mean "Paying other artists to make things on my behalf. A lot of you have problems with me and any syntax I use.
To be clear, I am getting, other artists to make surprise artwork, for my friends, on my behalf.
A few of you may know who you are, but I promise, this thursday, no one will no. And just to make sure I know, I'm going back to my notes to see what I commissioned.

Free art from me. Just suggest something, and you can have it. I'm being much more flexible, but there are still some things I wont venture into.
Now, look. There are a lot of you who'd look at this and say "well ive done that befor and you never did anythin". Well! Great, thank you for saying that. Let me start by saying that you people were incredibly brief... so amzingly brief that I couldn't put anything together.
Let me put it this way. When you send me a note saying "Draw my character, she's a white glass dragon." I immediatly think "Ooh! Interesting, I'll do that, but I should get some specifics first." When I get a crudely draw stick figure with a colour pallette containing 3 different colours total, anatomy so innacurate I first mistook it as a mangled foot, and, absolutely no written specifics, you know what my thoughts are?
"Oh, I see, you don't care, you just want me to draw something for you. You're desperate, you don't actually care what it is, as long as it's something and you like it."
If you want me to draw something, or trade with you, you don't need to give me some amazing in depth description of what you want. Just cover the basics with some detail. And since I know some of you /will/ need some examples...
Pose: Have him standing on one foot, leg straightened, the other bent, back arched with a hand on the back of his head as he gives a seductive wink..
Simple. right? Even... you know, "Crouching, knees up, an arm inbetween his legs to balance himself." Like, seriously, that's not hard, and a few of you can't/won't give me anything if I ask for some details. I sound like an arse, I know, but I'm not wicked awesome yet, I can't just pull all these ideas that YOU want and HAVEN'T told me out of my arse.

Now, look. There are a lot of you who'd look at this and say "well ive done that befor and you never did anythin". Well! Great, thank you for saying that. Let me start by saying that you people were incredibly brief... so amzingly brief that I couldn't put anything together.
Let me put it this way. When you send me a note saying "Draw my character, she's a white glass dragon." I immediatly think "Ooh! Interesting, I'll do that, but I should get some specifics first." When I get a crudely draw stick figure with a colour pallette containing 3 different colours total, anatomy so innacurate I first mistook it as a mangled foot, and, absolutely no written specifics, you know what my thoughts are?
"Oh, I see, you don't care, you just want me to draw something for you. You're desperate, you don't actually care what it is, as long as it's something and you like it."
If you want me to draw something, or trade with you, you don't need to give me some amazing in depth description of what you want. Just cover the basics with some detail. And since I know some of you /will/ need some examples...
Pose: Have him standing on one foot, leg straightened, the other bent, back arched with a hand on the back of his head as he gives a seductive wink..
Simple. right? Even... you know, "Crouching, knees up, an arm inbetween his legs to balance himself." Like, seriously, that's not hard, and a few of you can't/won't give me anything if I ask for some details. I sound like an arse, I know, but I'm not wicked awesome yet, I can't just pull all these ideas that YOU want and HAVEN'T told me out of my arse.

I've been spending money more freely for some reason. Bought myself a 27 inch monitor/tv, Pre-ordered Natural Selection 2, Brink and Overgrowth. Can't wait to play them! But before I do, I need another new video card. Seems the one I've got is WAAAAY back in tech. Even if I buy a $300-$500 graphics card I'll be Soooo much better off.
Been doodlin', smilin', workin' hard. Saturday morning, at 7:30AM, I left for Sydney, I was there by 12:30PM, spent 13 hours there for a fantastic friends birthday(
soulscale ) and left for home at about 1AM sunday morning.
I got home at about 8:30AM, and slept until 5:30PM.
Now? I relax, wait for commissions to roll in and try and keep myself from going crazy. Try and keep my emotions in line and make everyone else as happy as can be.

Only doing 9 pictures respective to the classes!
Meaning... anyone who requests a previously requested class will have that request denied.
Oh, and the first nine requests are free!
Here's how it's going to go. After I draw a picture of Surge and I as a Soldier/Medic pair, I'll get to drawing the other nine people.

I don't believe I can feel much worse for those involved. But, I'm going to stick around until the end. I did something stupid, let my emotions make me wreckless, now shit's going to hit the fan.
I'll feel like shit but, I'm going to come out smiling.
