I type this from my phone as my computer is currently out of commission due to a nasty bug I picked up from the popular gts/microphilia site. I'm sure people who share the same interests as I know of the site already, but for those who don't, stay away. The site is not safe, even with antivirus software installed on your system.

I had planned to go to this years Anthrocon this weekend, but now am unable to because of some unforseen things happening. First and foremost being the death of my great grandmother, who passed away in her nursing home this morning. She had turned 100 years old just under a week ago, July 2nd, and will sadly not be around to see the birth of her first great-great grandchild.
She and I were never very close, as her mind had already began to go by the time I was old enough to form any kind of bond. I would like to say that I at least miss her, but I really don't remember too much about her so doing so wouldn't be fully truthful.. To be honest, the fact that I feel so little for losing her is making me feel awful, as if I don't care as much as I should. My family, conversly, is devastated by the loss, thus all plans we had had for the next few weeks have been put on hold indeffinitely.
So yeah, I'm a selfish piece of shit because I'm more upset about not being able to go to a con than I am about losing a member of my family.

On another topic of things that aren't happening, I want to apologize to those who have commissioned me. My new job is proving to be much more draining than I had anticipated, to the point at which I barely feel energized enough to work on my blossoming Warhammer 40k hobby, let alone work on commissions.
As stated before this recent death in my family isn't affecting me very heavily, and I still have the rest of this week off despite not needing it for AC anymore, so I should be able to work on the commissions I have in the next few days. I don't want to get anybody's hopes up though, as I expect things to change rapidly in the coming weeks in terms of plans.

In summary, I apologize for not being terribly active lately, and likewise in advance for most likely staying inactive for a while because things aren't looking up for me right now. .

Good news and horrible news, everyone! Today was supposed to be the last day of highschool and the day that my life truly begins. Unfortunately it's day 1 and I'm already in the red.
I'll spare you the details; suffice it to say that I owe more money than I currently have in fees to my school and I'm still looking for a job. All the money I had saved up for this coming Anthrocon and then some will have to go toward paying for summer school and fees so I'm effectively broke right out of the gate. Fun times!

I need help paying for my graduation and for AC, so I'm opening commissions up once again.
I'll keep it simple this time: $5 flat rate, up to two characters (+$1.50 per extra), basic background, colored and shaded, standard shipping and handling applied, etc.

On a similar note, I'm closing commissions off as of now because I've come to the realization that I'm simply not ready for the responsibility. I've got three pieces to finish, one of which should have been done by Halloween, the others are well over a month old with little to no progress on all three. If any of my commissioners are reading this, then I'm sorry you all had to wait for art that probably won't be worth the money you paid in the first place.

At 3:30 EST today (aprox. four hours from posting this) I'll be doing another request stream. For those unfamiliar with such a thing, it's a simple livestream wherein I will draw whatever you guys in the chat want me to.

Everybody seems to be doing it nowadays, and I've got the equipment to do it, but I wanted to get some feedback before I jumped in.

Hello all! This is just a quick journal I'm putting out with a question for anyone who reads!

So I know in the past my requests never really went down too well due to my own laziness, but I have an idea that may make things go smoother!
I was thinking about giving one random watcher of mine a free request every week or every month or so. I know it would give me a lot of incentive to do more art, and it would help me get to know some of you a lot better~ :3

Would y'all be interested in something like that?

So yesterday (April 6th) was my birthday, and I wasn't able to draw due to family arrangements. It was a nice day overall and thanks a lot to everyone over on DA who gave me good wishes c: But this isn't about that!
If you're one of the folks waiting on me to draw up a request, then this is your week because I plan to work extra hard on getting as many done as possible!
If your request not out by this time next week, I'm sorry but chances are it won't be coming out any time soon. But fret not, for requests will open again soon, (as well as commissions, probably) so it may be your chance once again!

I've wanted to draw for a long while but I'm dry on ideas, so imma open requests up again.
This time with the disclaimer that I can't guarantee any will get done, as that was such a huge stress point last time. You know the drill, comment or send me a note with what you'd like me to draw, custom characters must have a ref sheet, you can use my characters in your suggestion, yadda yadda yadda.

The only restriction I can really put is no R-rated stuff since I'm not confident enough for that yet, other than that you can go wild.

Also there are no slots this time so you don't have to worry about making the cut.

All the YCH slots are filled, I'll begin working on it as soon as possible.
