Sketches and old works incoming
Posted 5 years ago So as I start to doodle and get back into the swing of drawing regularly, I find myself going back through my catalogue of sketches and unfinished works.
Rather than let them sit around and gather dust, I figured I might as well upload them to pad out my scraps folder.
Maybe I'll find one that's actually decent!
So yeah. Over the coming days expect to see some more old garbage from me as I sift through the old folders.Mini update: Twitter
Posted 6 years ago I finally broke down and got a Twitter, feel free to shame me. SHAME.
I'm over there as @FoxSnippy. Nothing really to look at right now but I'll probably start adding stuff and following people in the coming days/weeks, as well as posting some art and perhaps opening up special polls if anyone might care to watch out for them.Post-MP Update: Fursuit commissions?
Posted 6 years ago Greetings all, it's me your (n)th favorite delivery fox back from this year's Megaplex with a question for you:
WHY DOES ORLANDO TAP WATER TASTE SO AWFUL??
And also, would anyone be interested if I started taking commissions for fursuit stuff? This con was the first outting of the partial I made for my boyfriend (Not counting the arms, I didn't have time to make them so we had them done by somebody else whose name I am trying to find) and I gotta say it was a blast to make. Not as much as it was a blast to wear for his first time suiting, but still!
I would totally be down to make more tails and stuff. I've only got one to show as an example for right now so I have no idea what I would do for pricing. Maybe just the cost of the materials, so I can use it more as a learning experience than an actual "commission"? Lemme know what you all think!Request stream live now
Posted 6 years agoAWW HECK I FORGOT. Fixed now!

Posted 6 years ago So yesterday was my 22nd birthday, which officially gives me the right to shake my fist and yell at the young people on my lawn YOU DAMN KIDS, GET A JOB!!
Ahem. Anyway, to celebrate my time spent revolving around that big ball of gas I'll be doing a sketch request stream later on tonight. 8pm EST it'll go live over at https://picarto.tv/SnippyTheDeliveryFox . Come watch me struggle with basic artistic concepts, listen to horrible and obscure music, and waste time by watching stupid garbage on YouTube instead of working!Life sucks but wadaya gonna do about it
Posted 7 years agoThanks folks for sticking with me while I shamble ever forward with life after it feels like my world has been damaged beyond repair. As much as I wish I could go back in time to where I don't break down and cry because something innocuous and innocent set me off, time marches onwards and I have no choice but to keep up with it. Just gotta keep trucking through thick and thin.
So yeah. Thanks for sticking around, if indeed you still are. Some time soon I'll be back to making art, maybe I'll even take a crack at Inktober again. In the meantime enjoy the commissions that I've gotten over the last couple months and have neglected to post.We now return you to your regularly scheduled programming
Posted 7 years agoI had a blast at AC this year. Got to see around Pittsburgh, went to a lot of great panels, had fun in the sun (read: nearly died of heat stroke) in my partial, and bought a load of fun stuff to bring home. Needless to say I'll definitely be going again next year, and I might even make plans for MFF if it's anything like I've heard.
The time away has also helped me get some perspective on things in a way that makes me feel ready to start doing art again. So to the handful of people who were awaiting my return now is the time to rejoice. I'll be toying around with the idea of limited commissions once again now that I think I have a system that'll work for me.
So stay tuned, business as usual will resume in the coming week or so.Going to AC
Posted 7 years agoAt the airport as we speak. Super excited to be going, I need some time away from home. It's my first time flying alone (not counting the boyfren) and my first time suiting in public with my new partial. Expect some pictures when I return!Goodbye daddy

Posted 7 years agoGoing on hiatus thanks to tragedy. Sorry to anybody waiting on/wanting commissions. I'll refund whatever money has been paid already. I'll be back, probably.
Rest in peace TotalBiscuit
Posted 7 years agoToday, May 24th, the world of videogaming lost one of the biggest and most influential voices in its history. John Peter Bain, TotalBiscuit, The Cynical Brit, any of the other names and handles he has gone by over the years, finally lost an incredibly long and incredibly hard fought battle with cancer. Some of you might remember more of those names than others as TB had been a voice in the games media sphere for close to a decade. But whether you've been following him from his earliest days as a World of Warcraft radio host or only knew him from his more recent and/or public debacles regarding games industry fuckery, if you know the name TotalBiscuit then you know how much of an impact he's had on the world of games media. His unending dedication to consumer advocacy and refusal to allow shady practices in our favorite industry go unnoticed have lead to countless gamers, myself included, becoming smarter and more informed consumers. His coverage of games and gaming events has shone a light on smaller titles that would've otherwise been forgotten, and his staunch cynicism even in the face of the most ridiculous things provided a near endless source of entertainment for millions. His style of critique and passion for journalism has inspired hundreds over the years to start their own pundit channels or websites or review journals. His influence on games and games media in the past few years is irrefutable, and without him the world of gaming today would be a place I personally wouldn't want to see.
More than any of that though, I personally will always remember TB for the unbelievable amount of effort that he expended in his fight with cancer. Four years of therapy, or chemo and medication and experimental trials, countless hospitalizations and more several "It's terminal" and "It's in remission" moments before it finally became resistant to treatment this past April and took him before his time. For a man with so much to say, who could talk for hours about the importance of mouse sensitivity sliders and gush about anti-aliasing, it was always his mantra about his fight with cancer that I will never forget.
If you don't like the statistics, change the stats.
Fuck the odds, fuck the chances, never give up. Even if in the end you might not make it you have literally nothing to lose and literally everything to gain by just fighting. Don't shoot to fit into the "1 in 10" hole, shoot to shatter the whole thing and change those shitty statistics. Never, ever give up. Be the inspiration that you need to keep going.

Posted 7 years agoI'm 21 today \o/ And what better way to start off the first day of my adult life than with a painful injury that leaves me in bed until late afternoon. Wew.
I've got a handful of pictures that I'm currently working on, including an easter pic and an obligatory birthday pic. Expect them soon™!Computer troubles part V: Nvidia Strikes Back (also AC)
Posted 8 years agoShort and sweet, things are on the up and up I think. Bought a nice 1060 to replace my R9, everything seems to be running smooth as butter. The up side to having all my parts die in sequence is that there's almost nothing left that can fail me, right?
In other unrelated, but equally expensive news, I am officially going to AC this year. I booked the flight tonight and am shitting my absolute pants because BEING AN ADULT IS SCARY SOMEBODY HELP.Computer troubles episode IV: There's no Hope
Posted 8 years agoSince my last journal I've tried to plow through the crashes and the frustration by limiting how much strain I put on everything. It worked until tonight, when I crashed and lost functional displays plugged into the GPU.
When in doubt update your drivers, so that's what I attempted to do. Key word being ATTEMPTED. Driver software couldn't detect any compatible hardware, and when I popped it open the GPU fans were still as a corpse.
So I'm pretty sure my graphics card just up and died. Might explain what's been going on I guess, it's been acting up and crashing as it ticked down to a final gasp. So that leaves me with considerably more to work with than past issues have (My new mobo/CPU can thankfully support my displays and low-intensity software), but simultaneously leaves me in the biggest pickle yet as a new card is going to be a lot more expensive than the previous parts I've replaced.
So yeah. I can still draw, maybe. Haven't tried that yet but I won't be keeping my hopes up.
Recommendations and tips are, as always, appreciated.Computer troubles update [more fucking shit]
Posted 8 years agoI am officially broken. Just when I think I've solved all my computer troubles more pop right up. This time it's a complete black screen Windows crash after a certain length of time playing games. And it just so happens that I usually spend 90% of my time on the computer doing just that. So in one sense my computer works now, which I suppose I should be grateful for, but I can't use it for its intended purpose so I'm essentially right back where I was three weeks ago.
I'm just... I can't describe the level of disappointment I feel. I don't have it left in me at this point to even be angry anymore. So much money, time, effort spent, and just when I think it's all over it all gets wrenched from my hands again.Computer troubles update [Hopefully fixed]
Posted 8 years ago Right! Nearly $700 and two weeks later, all seems to be in order for my computer. I still don't know for certain what was the cause of the issue, but considering that it only resolved once I installed a new i7 processor I'm going to assume that somehow I had killed the old one.
Shame that by that time I had already replaced the motherboard, so that's $300ish I didn't need to spend. But what's done is done and it was probably about time I upgraded anyway.
So yeah. I hit a handful of smaller roadblocks along the way, each one more devastating than the last as I began to run out of options for fixing this thing, but it's been a day or two with the new parts (and the new install of Windows I needed to do) and no problems yet, so I'm going to call it fixed. I was even able to get my drawing software up and running again without much hassle, so art can resume shortly.
Thanks to everyone who offered advice and support. I had a lot of time to think about things I want to draw while I sat around doing nothing, so expect more from me soon-ish. Ho boy computer troubles
Posted 8 years ago My heatsink was starting to make a lot of noise, so I got a new one. Now my computer doesn't boot.
I turn it on and the fans start up, power is circulating, but bios never starts. Nothing shows up on the displays, there's no sound, not even a beep code.
I think I might have fried the cpu while installing the heatsink. Or something. I'm a complete idiot novice when it comes to computers so I don't know.
So yeah. No art for a little bit until I can figure out what the problem is and get it fixed. No idea when that'll be. I've got a discord server!
Posted 8 years agoIf anybody is interested in this kind of thing, I've actually got a discord of my own foot all kinds of stuff and things. Want to roleplay? We've got rooms for that! Want to chat? We can do that too. Want to play games with your buds? Can do buckaroo.
Bring your friends, bring your family, bring your feet if you're into that!

Posted 8 years agoSo some of you may know that yesterday, the 6th, was my 20th birthday. I didn't post anything about it since I was out pretty much all day with friends and family wasting everybody's time and feeling bad about myself. Same old same old basically.
So yeah. I might do a birthday stream for requests or just some doodling tonight, keep an eye out for that.
Otherwise this journal is just letting those unaware know that I've officially left my teenage years behind. Thanks so much to everybody who wished me well, you guys are great~Macro March update
Posted 8 years agoOh, didn't see you there.
Just a quick little thingy to let you guys (all two of you that care) know that I've not forgotten about Macro March. I just... Haven't done anything for it.
Been in a bit of an art funk lately but I'm trying to get over it so hopefully I'll have at least one piece of original work to submit before this month is over.
And to those who have expressed interest in commissioning me to take advantage of my macro-theme discount, I still have your names on my to-do list and everywhere on my profile that I can't avoid. Your commissions probably won't be done by the end of the month but I will get to them as soon as I can, and yes you will still receive the discount regardless of when they're completed.
To anybody else, I'm still offering the discount until the end of the month! Check my previous journal for details on that.Need ideas for a possible Patreon
Posted 8 years agoHello, my little dumplings. For a while now I've been thinking about making a Patreon because I'm a disgusting sellout.
So a double question for you all. If I made a Patreon would anybody want to become a Patron of mine? And what do you think I could possibly offer as rewards for my Patrons?
I was thinking of monthly raffles or access to a portfolio of unfinished sketches. Anything you folks can think of? Macro March commissions discount!
Posted 8 years agoHidey-ho kids, it's me that guy that nobody knows about. Since it is the month of the monstrous, the 31 days of downright huge, the four weeks of worrying height, the seven-hundred-forty-four hours of size, THE ONE AND ONLY MONTH OF THE MACROS...
I'm probably just going to be doing what I normally do. But! Any and all commissions I take this month will be given a 25% discount of the final price if they contain a macro theme. If you need a refresher on my commission prices, they are as follows.
(Note that of course the cost of the commission will go up depending on the complexity of the pose or character. The Macro March discount will apply to the combined price of all extras desired.)

Signal boost: An incredible artist that deserves more
Posted 9 years agoThis is just a quick journal to give a shoutout to
daJENKI, an incredible artist I've had the pleasure of dealing with multiple times now. His art quality is superb, his commission prices are criminally low, and his view count is honestly stunning considering how fffffucking good he is at what he does.
Please, please go check out either his more active DeviantArt or his Patreon/, or at the very least pass the word on to someone you know who will.
I know my platform here is not that high and 10k pageviews isn't an indicator of even a decently sized audience, but the fact that he barely has more than that is nothing short of criminal. His art is astounding, his use of colors and composition is superb, it has to be seen to be believed.
So see for yourselves!

I could go on and on but there's not enough time in the day.
Just, go check him out. Do yourself a favor!
