THE TIME HAS COME
I'm opening my commission up again starting today~! Same offers as before, monochrome and colored sketches will be available, but with a few small adjustments to the process and prices.
FIRST:
I've slightly adjusted my prices to be a little more in line with what I want to produce. WAIT NO DON'T LEAVE JUST YET IT'S NOT THAT BAD I PROMISE, it's just a $5 bump over the old prices. Monochrome sketches have gone from $35 > $40, and color from $60 > $65.
My reason for this is to reflect the continuing improvements in my workflow and my abilities, and also to incentivize myself to put a little extra oomf into each piece. I don't think I've been very fair with how I've handled stuff like shading and extra detail in the past, where certain pieces I'm working on get more love just because I'm feeling it more than another piece, despite the clients paying the same amount. I'm hoping that this little increase will help motivate me to give more attention across the board and make each piece the best it can be.
But worry not, the old prices are still available for select persons! Predominantly Patreon subscribers! And folks whom I owe stuff to
That's right, if you're a supporter on my Patreon of the $5/mo tier or higher you qualify for a $5 discount on the base cost of any commission, bringing your prices back down to the previous levels. Just make sure to include your Patreon username in your form submission. Note: You only have to be a supporter at the time of submitting your form.
This is the first time I've done any kind of exclusive offer or discount via Patreon, so please do let me know what you think!
SECOND:
I'm going to be handling things on my end a little differently this time around. Instead of having a vague "I'll pick what I like when I feel like it", which I never really felt super comfortable with subjecting y'all to, this time around I'm going to have a set time frame for the form to be open. I'll also be setting myself a limit on slots in the hopes of making things as transparent and simple as possible.

The form will be open for two weeks. From 9/12 until midnight on 9/26. After that I will close up shop, and I'm thinking I'll take 3 or 4 slots depending on what all you lovely folks suggest and how much I feel I can do. I want to take enough to cover the expenses I have (approx ~$300 in computer parts) and complete them in a timely manner without burning myself out or making people wait. So we'll start small!

To celebrate hitting 400 followers on Bluesky (as well as celebrating Twitter getting shittier and shittier by the day) I've decided to take a piece I've been sitting on for a while and throw it up as an official YCH for auction~!
The first raffle is on my Bluesky page and will remain open until Sunday, Feb. 23rd at 12pm EST, at which point I will pull two random winners. To enter you just have to do the regular raffle stuff; repost, like, be a follower, etc.

It's that time once again! Another year over, a new one begins, etc. etc.
2024 was a weird one for me. I think I'd say it was overall a pretty good year? 
Pepsiismyblood and I finally moved out and into an apartment with a coworker, I'm making more money at work than I ever have in my life, I drew a good bit of stuff that I ended up liking, I played a bunch of games I really enjoyed, and I even got through some commissions.
It was far from a perfect year for just as many reasons, but I think the good outweighs the bad for me personally. So here's hoping next year is even better c: I've got some secret projects and new-year-goals in mind, but broad strokes I think I'd like to just keep on doing A-OK as I have been. I want to draw more, I want to do more stuff with Kira, I want to do more commissions and continue working through the ones I've still got in queue, all that jazz.
Actually, there is one thing in particular I'm looking forward to that I'll letcha in on:
In a few weeks Kira and I will (hopefully) be attending Anthro New England :D We've been before, but this time we're looking to enjoy the whole con time. If any friends or folks are going please do let me know, I'd love to meet more people and socialize more in 2025 and this seems like a great place to start!~

I am officially opening commissions for the latter quarter of 2024, partially to help myself and Pepsiismyblood afford to move very shortly!
The rules are the same as last time. Submit your commission idea through the google form link >>here<<. I will pick an indeterminate number of slots from the submissions and get to work on them as soon as I can. I have updated my prices since last time, which you can find both in the form and in >>this handy dandy new sheet pic<<, in a way that I hope reflects how much I've grown as an artist and my ability/desire to make better work now than I did then. I hope so, at least.
I've also added the option for colored pieces and simple backgrounds!
Do's and Don't's as well as an expanded TOS can be found in the form. As always payment is not necessary until I've begun working on a piece, so nobody will be left with no money and no progress for long.
Any sharing or help in spreading the word would be massively appreciated, but I want to thank each and every one of you for even just looking <3
Testing the Patreon waters with an early post!

I've wanted to start using Patreon or Ko-fi more these days because I like to pretend I'm a real artist. I did a Twitter poll asking if people would be interested in a "First dibs" tier that would give priority consideration with my commissions (which will be opening Soon™) and there was some support there. So to ease myself into the idea, as I'm currently undecided, I wanted to experiment first to gauge public interest.
That brings us to today. Starting with the piece I just finished, my WIPs and completed pieces will be going up on Patreon first. The entry pledge is only $1, and the finished works will be available publicly a few days afterwards regardless, so consider it a first look/tip jar kind of deal. It is NOT a permanent paywall and I have no intention of making exclusive content at any point in the future, don't worry.
So yeah! If you'd like to throw this goobus a bone and perhaps a dollar or two, my Patreon is up and running with its first early look post!

And to celebrate I've taken our festive little deer boi and made him a festive BIG deer boi! Yessir Syrus has gone and made himself the biggest thing since Santa's sack, and he's looking for a few little holiday helpers to help him reach maximum holly jolly.
To that end I've posted the WIP up on Twitter and will be raffling off some spots! All you have to do is make sure to follow me, like the post, retweet it, and post a character in the comments as well as where you'd like them to be. No cost or anything!

I've added some overdue character folders, split the Macro/Micro and Paws folders into two from one, added a SFW and Non-kink folder for things I want to be able to show in polite company, moved some stuff around that shouldn't have been where it was, and started using the Other folder for general kink-related things that don't fit into the other folders but aren't frequent enough to warrant their own. Muscle stuff, lactation, specific kinks like that.

Posted 3 years agoAgainst my better judgement I've resumed posting on DeviantArt. I will likely not make a habit of doing this as all of my problems on that site remain; most of them have gotten worse in fact since my last dump. But the lizard brain likes to see numbers going up and DA is still my most active platform by a considerable margin, so it's just bad business sense to continue neglecting it.
In fact I recently broke 2k watchers over there. With that and recently hitting 450 on Twitter as well, I can't help but think that there are way more people following me than I ever could have imagined (or frankly that I feel I deserve)
My thanks for this are, of course, unending. I know it's not a ludicrous amount but I'm immeasurably happy that so many people enjoy my stuff, even in the places where I don't keep up as much.
In other news: Recently Shelby has been making waves and catching a lot of eyes, I've even been commissioned to draw her a few times for other people! I can't tell you how thrilled I am that y'all seem to like her reboot as much as I have.
And this has got me thinking. Do you have a favorite character of mine?
Adin, Shelby, Syrus, Eldwnn, Mikayla, Vasilisa, Snippy, I've got a decently sized cast with a lot of them being fairly old characters at this point. I can guess based on metrics and view counts but I think I'd rather hear from anyone who would care to say who their favorite is, if any.

I'll be opening up sketch comms again. You know the type, these kinds of messy doodles.It'll be a bit different this time though, more professional I hope. I've got a nice new google form to take submissions in an orderly, central manner.
I'm not giving myself a hard limit on slots or a timeline, this will act as a way to have a pool of ideas to pull from whenever I feel I have the will and drive to do some commission work. I'm not exactly sure when but I will pick ideas from the list and work on them. It might be soon, it might be later on, or I might just pick and choose irregularly. I'm winging it a lot if you couldn't tell.
There's no limit to how many submissions you can make (I think) so if you've got a bunch of ideas feel free to lay them on me. Just be aware that I'll only do one per person per "batch." As long as your ideas don't break my shiny new ToS or contain the things from my Don'ts (and even then I'm down to discuss some lighter stuff so don't be afraid to try anyway) anything is on the table. Though if you're here you probably know my biases and preferences for content!
There's a bit more but the full process and my terms, practice, and restrictions are all listed in the form under the first section.
Speaking of the form, here it is!

Commissions, priorities, and prices oh my! [COMMS SOON!]
Posted 4 years agoI'm opening up specifically to gather funds for a new desk (one that will hopefully make drawing easier, so even more comms in the future maybe~?)
This means that for once I actually have a monetary goal to meet, and I'll only be taking on as many commissions as it would require to pay for the purchase.

Kinda. Going to be doing things a little bit differently this time.
TLDR at the bottom if this is all too long and rambly for ya.
PRIORITY COMMISSIONS
As I've had a fair few people contact me personally since last time to express their interest (Like way more people than I deserve, y'all are awesome ;A;) I feel I should get to these folks first, especially since several of them have been waiting very patiently for a very long time.These people will get first digs, as it were. I've got a list of "priority" clients to reach out to and see who is still interested. I feel this is only fair to those people, and it will make things significantly easier on myself as I won't have to deal with so much of the anxiety of waiting for applicants or overstepping my limits.
AFTER PRIORITY COMMISSIONS
Once I've worked through these "priority" commissions I might open up for a few standard-form comms as I've done in the past, albeit with the limit of only taking as many as I need to reach my desk fund goal.As much as I do indeed like money, I also like not burning myself out on too much work as I've done many times in the past.
I don't have a ton of people who have reached out, and it's entirely possible that any of them will no longer be interested in or able to get a commission right now, so it's very likely that I will end up taking on more comms at a later date. I can't say when or how many, but I would encourage anyone interested to keep their hopes up and their ears to the ground!
PRICES AND QUALITY
If you've been keeping up with my normal output of art recently you might notice that I've been doing a lot more "sketchy" works and a lot less "complete" pieces. I've found that this has allowed me to make far more drawings in significantly less time, and it's allowed me to experiment a lot in ways that have only further enhanced the quality of my work both artistically and mechanically.I've discovered new techniques for coloring, new texture methods, I've gotten familiar with new tools and brushes in CSP, and above all I've started taking anatomical correctness seriously with references and studies helping to make my characters look better and more realistic than ever.
To this end I think I will limit myself to only taking on these colored sketch commissions for the time being. I feel they are a good middle ground between speed and quality.
My existing commission terms apply as far as content, but I will be slightly increasing the price of these to a base $20. My reason for this is that the fast nature of the sketching process means I can put more time and effort into coloring and details than I could before, as with full colored line-art pieces I would often burn myself out before even reaching the coloring stage.
They might be a little messier, but the overall improvements I've made in my techniques I feel warrant a slight increase in price to reflect the increase in quality.
Bear in mind that this is not a decision I make lightly at all. I have spent a lot, and I mean a LOT of time thinking about my worth as an artist. It's only recently that I feel I have become good enough to actually charge what I feel I am worth. This is the biggest, scariest leap I've made in my artistic "career" in a long time. We'll see how it pans out but for now I feel it might be warranted. For now.
TLDR: I'm going to be opening up commissions again very shortly, starting with people who have reached out and personally expressed an interest since my last opening.
After I get through them, if I still require funds to meet the goal I've set to buy a new desk, I will open up for regular commissions with the stipulation that I'll only be taking one kind; colored sketches.

Good afternoon, y'all's. Just a quick one today to hopefully shed some light on recent activity for those wondering about commission progress and such.
But first: I had the procedure done to remove all four of my wisdom teeth. It was quick and painless and I still can't feel my lower jaw.. It was also my very first surgery which is probably a good thing! The real pain begins tomorrow but that's what the heavy duty pain meds are for. Vicodin, baby!So that's a little updoot for anyone who cared what I was up to today.
Now onto the heavier stuff. Over the past few months I have been going through a lot of tumultuous drama in both my family life and my friend circle. If you don't follow me on Twitter you probably would have missed me talking about it, and I don't blame you if this is the first you're hearing of this. But even on Twitter I've not really gone into any detail about events, and I have no intention of doing that here.
In the interest of saying enough to get the idea across, suffice it to say that I might very well be losing people who are very dear to me, both friends and family for different reasons. This and the resulting fallout has rocked both sides of my personal life and strained relationships both familial and fraternal, and I've been in a very stressed and depressed state for a long while now as bad news and worse vibes continue to roll in day by day.
I just want people to be happy.
So that's what's been going around in my life. I don't really like to talk about bad stuff that often as I try to keep my page and my online presence as positive and detached from negative real world stuff as possible, but for folks who are waiting on stuff from me I feel it necessary to explain why I've been slacking. Personal art is a comfort thing for me these days, which is why I've still been doing the odd drawing or getting the odd commission to make myself feel better. I guess commissions are just a different beast and I haven't felt like dealing with the obligation side of art in a while. But that's just the pattern I go through, isn't it? Alternating between a constant state of either being invested with no drive or having promises that I'm failing to fulfill. At least this time I'm not holding anyone's money hostage with my laziness so that's an improvement I guess ( ._.)Streaming tonight @7pm EST

Posted 5 years ago An update straight from the fox's mouth on the status of commissions!
I'd originally planned to officially open up commissions a few weeks ago, but upon going through my commends and my notes I realized I actually had a sizeable backlog of people who had reached out to me about grabbing some commission slots between last I opened and now.
It's taken me some time to get them all nailed down, and I apologize for all of you who I might have kept waiting. It's been surprisingly difficult to get ahold of some folks, and a few commissions that I had thought were already set up turned out to be no-go's for various reasons. But I think I've got it all locked down now!
Thanks again everyone for being patient with me. I will be putting up a schedule soon for streams wherein I will broadcast my progress through this batch.

If you're at all like me then you simply can't get enough of this big cutiepie.
Since the original character design portrait done by the infinitely talented 
nastypasty I've fallen in love with this adorable thiccyboi and have gotten a lot of wonderful commissions of him. Now they're all together in one easy to find place in the Characters folder in my gallery. There will of course be more of him to come! I've got no end of ideas for this lovely lad to take the spotlight.

I have a Trello now!
Posted 5 years agoTo keep track of current and past commissions, as well as to give a way to hold myself responsible for them, I've made up a Trello for my commission queue. It's a lot better than a sticky note on my desktop I think and an excellent tool for me to give my clients a way to keep track of their commissions.
I've never used Trello before so it's currently quite bare, but I will be toying with it for a while. It has all the current commissions I have on deck sorted by detail level, and I will tag each one with its most recent stage of completion (unless you would prefer I don't, in which case let me know and I'll keep it private) so you can follow along with the process!Take a look, take a peek!
