General | Posted 2 years agoyou guys still here? sorry it's been a while! i've been busy. i got that good pc i wanted :3 and ive been doing a lot of vrchat. im making my own avatar too so i'll probably post that when i'm done with it, though it's a temporary avatar until i complete the higher quality one im working on :3 hope u guys are doing ok
My dream for 2022
General | Posted 4 years agoHey everybody. Sorry for the slow art uploads recently, a lot has been happening IRL that has kept me from making and uploading more hyper goodness. Starting next year, i think I'll be able to be more consistent with my uploads, though that might change since this is a hobby of mine.
As for my dream, I really want to get a high-end, maybe even top of the line PC next year. I absolutely love VR, but my Dell Inspiron prebuilt just isn't powerful enough for anything except Rec room and Vrchat, and sometimes Vrchat is too much, even with my Oculus Rift.
I really want to learn Unity and Blender and other sculpting programs so i can create awesome stuff, and play non-VR graphics intensive games too.
I really want to learn and experience all these things, but it's so, so expensive. I want to upgrade my headset and stuff to one that's more recent and has more support, but it just adds to the price. My maximum budget for the PC alone would be 1500 to 2000, which might be enough for a high-end. I'm not an expert in PC specs, so I need to work hard so I don't get scammed.
I really want this, it's my dream. I hope I'll get it next year. If not, I'll just wait until 2023.
