1) con big, but i was on the first floor of the premier tower so I could retreat the moment it started to get a lil much which was fucking sick af while fursuiting loved it god I wish I could have a nicely placed hotel room every MFF, I think I only had to use an elevator like 4 times the whole con.

3) I love to chat up randoms while walking around in and out of suit and I met a bunch of really rad people this con.

4) The furry institution is growing and I fear, but am feeling more optimistic about it after this con.

I can understand having body types that you just can't get yourself to vibe with for one reason or another but I genuinely can't wrap my head around Ppl who are only into one type of body and if anyone suggests a different shape is fun they gotta be like "yeah well I think it would be better if they were [____]"

As a fat fur artist this is really funny because what normally feels like really indulgent art for me became the norm and any deviation from just drawing fat animal people who's entire personalities are 'is fat' is generally met with disinterest.

This used to bother me until I realized catering to the largest group you can try to capture is only really worth it if you want maximum attention possible or are trying to make money from the craft.

The former I'm not as worried about anymore as an adult with a non zero amount of social anxiety, and the latter is just not possible for me to follow through with.

So I can be a fat fur artist that can twinkish boys, buff girls, literally just average body type nonbinary person. Inscrutable always shape shifting goo creature etc.

Ngl it's way more fun that way then trying to chase the high of "omg everybody loved this I need to capitalize on this as much as possible" like I'm playing some sort of sim management strategy game.

My best art is always when I have an image in my head of something I want to see and I manage to follow through on it. Just turns out a lot of the time it is Indulgent kink thoughts hahaha.

A lot of times I end up being a little less active in the summer, since art is a hobby, and I have a lot of summer hobbies! So sometimes art and other things can be fighting for time.

However I'm not always that predictable so that could mean you really honestly don't even see a difference, it depends how much time I spend out doing stuff.

I still wanna make more Folders but that's definitely one of those ADHD brain doesn't wanna do it type things.

I finally uploaded Sensitivity To Scale, and I'm fairly happy with it. I have some short kinkster things I might upload if I end up spending time on them, but I suppose it all depends when I get full brian functioning back.

Honestly this site has always felt the place I feel most comfortable sharing art. Da is too wishy washy about sex and male genetalia, and I was just never a huge fan of any of the other art sites that have popped up.

Unless FA does something wacked up like ban feral art I'm probably sticking around.

I have "Sensitivity to Scale" basically in the barrel, I'm tired of being so granular about something that's so amateurish anyways. It just means a lot to me. It deals with a theme that hits really close to home for me so I'm taking it a little more seriously than it maybe deserves.

I also have a version of Ash's introduction mostly written up but still pretty early in the editing phase.

And as you can see I'm still uploading art, so it's not like all my time has been consumed with writing. Thank god.

Trying to moderate myself so I don't burn out hahaha.

I've never been before, but I think random FWA videos were some of my first introductions to conventions hahaha.

Hey guys. Idk if I'm pulling it off but I'm kinda trying to really push to put my writing out there finally after doing it for fun in my spare time for YEARS.

It's where all my characters come from (most of the time. Sometimes I just make a character as a one off visual appetence and then end up characterizing them as a treat later Lmao.)

It started with Zack and Jackie my blue foxes, and kinda went nuts into this whole world and setting (you know the gist).

But the issue is. I'm not a writer. I've done a few things here and there in context of kink, but I'm much more interested in showing off my OCs character, as opposed to just exclusively "showing them off" like I normally do.

I want them to feel like people who have wants and desires and experiences.

Not to distance myself from kink furry art, listen, fascination with round and kink etc. Is a big motivator to keep creating. I've found a nice niche and most people seem to be chill with me taking the space.

Anyways. I might start writing more short story stuff.

I have a 35 page ~5000 word thing that I have a first draft done for. I want to do little pen doodle illustrations for it so that people who struggle with that have a better time visualizing them, and then it's kinda just an exhibiton of two similar but very different characters "flirting" with each other.

Its not a kink thing but I want to put stuff out there that isn't purely kink sometimes, because it has value to me and I think it adds flavor to the world I've barely shared with anyone.

I think additionally I'm going to start putting the effort in to add more flavorful descriptions like I've been trying to do more lately.

I'm also trying to actually use this sites folders system so you don't just need to scroll through my years old fa gallery for stuff, and looking organized is the first step to being organized/pf.



The reason I'm being so wishy washy about it is i never really was too self conscious about my art. Even my old art. I'm self taught. I took 2 art classes my whole life and both times the teacher had a zero tolerance for digital artists or any sort of cartoonish style, writing it off as childish.

I'm happy I've gotten my art skill to the level I have considering I have practically no technique and don't use references nearly as thoroughly as I should..

Writing on the other hand...

I used to read a lot. Lots of comics, I read the warrior cats books up to the 4th series, was obsessed with writing from a young age.

That's why I hold myself to a higher degree of scrutiny for wiring than I do for art. And I'm not even sure if my writing is all that good! But I do it a lot! And I do it for fun! Casually! To world build! And make characters more interesting to me so I draw them more.

Jeremy, another blue fox, character, is a very big example of this. I've drawn him a few times being cute and gay, but I've written him to have a whole life, a search for his sense of self, reconciliation with a family that loves him but doesn't quite understand him. Friction with his best friend as he gets older. And then he takes all those feelings and thoughts and emotions and experiences and goes on this big world-changing adventure.

You can see little crumbs from that in the text file I foolishly uploaded to this website (don't upload text files to this website)

That's the kinda stuff that interests me.

You probably won't get Jeremy's story for a very long time, it's a tangled, long running mess of disorganized events and messy feelings and cliche. And frankly, it's not very on brand for what I normally post.

Ideally id like to distribute things more like. Working with characters you all have seen and likely would recognize, giving more context to their existence and why they spend their free time indulging themselves so much, the weird kinda neo earth animal people society they live in, with healthy amounts of indulgence in "the special interests". (you get to play the fun game of, 'is the special interest belly? Is it cars? Is it boys? Is it all of these?)

That all being said, this first big thing I wanna put out there is with new characters, they aren't belly kink related, but I think they're cute and interesting. It takes place in "my setting" but that setting isn't a main character.

I'm honestly, genuinely just trying to get myself more comfortable with putting more time and effort into my writing so I can put stuff out that I'm proud of, even if the target demographic might be really small.

I'm working on two more sorta intense projects. It isn't anything insane. I'm not making a webcomic, I don't think I have the stamina for that at this point. I've got two very winding crazy draft documents for writing projects that I plan on illustrating in some way. One of these things, likely the first one that I'll end up posting, is not very kink, but I'm having a really good time working on it and developing the characters. It's also really horny. There's a lot of touching and sexual tension and sexuality, but it isn't one of those things where I makes the character big and round.

So I guess prepare yourself for that.

The other thing I'm working on DOES have characters getting big and round, so if you're ONLY into that, you can get hype for that I guess, but anything meaningful other than maybe some little sketchy stuff here and there is probably a little far off.

In the mean time I'm gonna try to keep drawing cute lil round scribbles of my characters being cute and huggable.

I just started using an app that helps me upload to DA and FA way easier. I'm currently using it to upload like, most of my backcatalog from the past (2?) years, so you're gonna get mega hella spammed with art, one to two pictures a day until I either run out of backcatalog or get screwed up setting it up somewhere along the way (I get to schedule things to go for me so my day to day motivation shouldnt be affected by uploading.

Despite being super active on here lately, I haven't actually drawn really anything for the past week or so. Me drawing is really irregular. When/if I do finally get caught up on the back catalogue, The frequency of art will significantly decline, but I still try to draw a few things a month!

So yeah, uh, anyways. Just checking in, I'm still alive, I'm using an app to help me upload stuff I've had drawn for forever to FA and DA so you dont have to try to go to my twitter to sus out my art, since I haven't come close to uploading it all to Discord either.
