Regarding my NSFW content...
General | Posted a year agoHey all, hope you're having a good day.
I've been feeling the need to clarify a few things about the type of NSFW content I'm willing to draw, specifically in regards to any "feral" characters.
For those of you who have seen my gallery, which I assume is most of you reading this, you'll know that dragons is the thing I'm best at drawing, specifically "feral" dragons, even in NSFW content. I know the word "feral" is quite a taboo topic in the NSFW side of the furry fandom, and for good reason, and I don't blame people for turning away from my page after seeing characters like Arcanine and Luxray in NSFW content.
However, I feel the need to say: I also very much dislike feral NSFW.
Now I know what you're thinking: "The feral NSFW artist is disturbed by feral NSFW?! Bullshit!" and I get it, but hear me out for a moment.
I understand why people use the whole "It's just fantasy, these highly animalistic characters are still clearly intelligent enough to be able to consent", and in some cases I think the argument works. Dragons, for example, are inherently creatures of fantasy, so there's already a level of disconnect from reality. I only begin to take issue with dragons in NSFW content if they're underage, or shown to be lacking the intelligence to consent. (Also incest, but that's another issue I'm not in the mood to bring up here)
I think the same mindset applies to creatures from, for example, Pokemon and Monster Hunter, although to a lesser extent since the creatures in those series' are often shown to be less intelligent. It's when we're talking about non-anthro, REAL animals that I start to feel discomfort.
Even so, I'm willing to draw characters from both these series in NSFW content, but only with very specific restrictions. Those being:
#1: All characters I draw in NSFW context must be clearly shown to be a SAPIENT, CONSENTING ADULT.
I hope this one is straightforward, there shouldn't need to be a debate about this.
#2: There are some established characters that I will NOT draw in NSFW context for any reason.
Some of these characters include: Various different Pokemon (e.g.: Pikachu, Eevee, Mostly unevolved Pokemon.), Some MH creatures (e.g.: Seikret, Palico, Palamute) Toothless, Amaterasu (Okami), among various others.
(If you're not sure which characters I may or may not willing to draw, please just ASK.)
#3: "Feral" animals, such as (but not limited to) canines, felines, and horses, that are very close to reality, are creatures that I will not draw in NSFW context for any reason.
This is the point where "feral" art, at least in NSFW or fetish content, becomes disturbing to me. For reference, Pokemon like Arcanine, Luxray and Rapidash are about as close to "feral" as I'm willing to go.
I think that about wraps up everything I wanted to clarify. I am not hesitant to make my boundaries known, and I really don't care if I piss people off in the process. I understand if you see my boundaries as "inconsistent" or whatever, but personally I think we as a community need new definitions for what classifies anthro and feral. (Hence why I've been referring to feral with quotations this whole time)
And just a reminder that this is in regards to NSFW content specifically. I do not have a problem with "feral" characters in SFW content. (Most of the time) I cannot stress enough how important it is to me that all characters I draw in NSFW content be sapient, consenting adults, even if that's not even enough in some case. I know what my boundaries are, and I think it's important for the public to know too.
Oh yeah, and in case my FA bio didn't make it painfully clear, any pedos, zoos, or proshippers that try to interact with me will be instantly blocked.
Anyway, that's all I wanted to say. Please keep all of this in mind if you intend to commission me sometime and read my ToS on Toyhouse carefully, so then we won't have any problems.
Thank you for your time and have a nice day. :3
