As some of you may know, I had own few parrots a while ago.
Sadly, one of them (female kakariki) had many health issues and mostly because of my lack of knowledge. She lived with us around 3 years and passed away.
I owned another kakariki this year after and thought I was doing it right this time but...he passed away few days ago too. Autposy showed he died from hepatosis (and I think that my prev kak died from it too)

I feel guilty atm becuase I feel there was a chance of saving him and I took him to the vet earlier. But I didn't.

Rn I have 2 budgies in not the perfect condition as well. I am afraid they can pass away any day as well. Currently both of them needs meds, better food and cage inventory, also regular vet visits.

Because of this I need more money than I usually need, so a little reminder here that I am open for commissions:

BASIC INFO

I DO slightly mature art: artistic nudity, sexual themes (with no genitals shown) are OK. I am also fine to draw blood, injures or beating-up/fight scenes. Just don't go too far with it. Feel free to ask is your idea fine for me!
I CAN DO any species of animals or fantasy creatures, ONLY doubting question is human-like face structure. I did studied human faces in artschool and university but never really enjoyed it. If you want human character be drawn as second-plan character in the piece, it is possible.

Hello everybody. I feel that my prices are too low for what I am doing now and I decided to finally make a full update of my commission ID. I asked few people and got suggested to price my art per hours. I tried to count how much I generally want to work per month (in hours) and amount of money I want to get (per month). But, since I live in Russia and Ruble-USD in not stable and generally life is cheaper here, I can't relly understand if my prices are big or low.
According to Ruble-USD course right now, I want to earn at least 500 USD a month

Question: how much dollars per hour people usually get for art-related work? Or generally, how much per hour is normal payed work?

This is realy important question for me. Right now I am trying to count how much time I spend on my artworks/what styles I want to do as commissions etc. I see people selling pretty low quality artwork (in my opinion) for much bigger prices than I do.
Another note: my eyesight is pretty bad and I get more and more headaches lately. I can't work 24/7 because of that. I plan to do more traditional art in the future SO:

If you commissioned physical item, were you paying for shipping? Or it was counted in the price of the work? What you personally find better?
Any good resourses for selling traditional artworks or making prints/calendars/etc. with own design for sale?

This is long-time decision. I was thinking about making second account before I did a collab account with my bf. Here few reasons why
1) I do a lot of commissioned art and almost have no time for personal one. I want my gallery be clean from not my OCs and concept
2) Art quality and styles. I usually expirement with personal art and always try something new. At the same time, my commissions are usually 2 or 3 different fixed styles. I have a lot of sketches I've never posted on main account because I found they are boring and not suiting my gallery
3) I want to get more attention to personal art. As well as I want do more personal art and I hope I will be able to do both:comms and personal.

Lately I feel to tired about drawing, it keeps being problematic for me. Sometimes I even have a feeling I wanna delete everything and start once again. SO, I just moved all my "not personal" art to the scraps, as well as references and other boring shit to the scraps...well, I definetly don't do enough personal art. It was a good kick honestly to start thinking about how actually I miss personal full and bright drawings, my own OCs brought to life and such. Lately I have mostly just vent art or sketches with them. Not sure if it's good or bad. many artists have the same situation, but they usually have like 2-3 or even only 1 character they draw to relax.

I have a full collection of OCs, species, and some small stories between them I wanna set into a full world. Well, at least it was my childhood dream and it's something I really love to do - showing feelings with characters I have in mind and bringing them to viewer with my art. After I cleaned gallery from similar heashots, halfbodies and full drawings I see..I don't do it. I am just tired of it? I don't even know now if I wanna draw basically or it's my boring work. The bad thing - I have no idea about any other hobby/thing that makes me happy in mind. I always had only drawings. I hate parties, I hate chats, I hate command games. And I hate when I spend time for nothing, so gaming is not my thing too.

It's going to be busy year for me - my university will make me draw most of time things I don't feel I wanna draw. So expect non activity. Right now, before I get really busy, I think I should try to give a birth for few full drawings with my OCs and see, how it will affect me. Will I start feel better or not? Thats the question I wanna now. For now I feel completely stuck with own progress, ideas and inspiration. Music, serials, everything, basically - boring.

Heya. I guess I have to say that I am strongly need a commission break.... I am not sure.

I feel kinda unhappy, unsatisfied and unconfident with myself, my surroundings and my feels. I don't enjoy personal pieces, also they don't get much attention as well. At the end I feel just useless and not important. I think thats why I keep going and draw commissions I feel a little better making people happy for the new works. But I also get extremelly tired.
My eyes and head are aching, body is always tired, I don't feel healthy...and so far, I can't move anywhere and do anything right now, keep spending summer days in physical laziness.

I have only few to finish, so I need to make them now:

- 2 headshots
- sketchy ref
- halfbody coloured sketch

After that, I think, I should try push myself into personal art...I guess I don't any activity on page cause, uh, cmon, commissions aren't interesting, as well as vent pieces are. I will try do more story based personal arts and maybe cheer up myself by this ( I hope I am not doing wrong, maybe keep doing no point/not emptional for myself commissioned art would be better...I don't really now, I am just afraid to make not so HQ work cause of this moods, yea)
So yes, I don't accept comms for a while, sorry. I guess month or even less, I usually get out of shit fast.
