Happy FURSUIT FRIDAY all! And with the first of June here, it's time to remind you all of this year's FURRY FEMME SHOOT #AC18FFS .

As you might recall, the FFS traditionally happens in the DLCC Third Floor by Room 322; if you are at the 'Spirit of Pittsburgh Ballroom', simply head all the way to the end of the corridor.

We'll be 'starting' at 9 pm local time, giving some folks time enough to get some shots in with time enough to get to dances and such. As to 'stopping time', as always I run until we've gotten all the shots done that folks want.

I'll burn CD's of all the pics for everyone attending and have them on me throughout the remainder of the con. Just find me in the red headband or text me to arrange a quick meet. Shortly after AC I'll upload them all to the closed Facebook Group as well.

If anyone is interested in a 'personal' or 'private' shoot, I am always humbled to be thought of for these - and as always your privacy would be paramount to me. I have a reputation to uphold, after all.

I have news of the not fun kind.
After an IM conversion / breakup I had with someone earlier tonight, " Joeseph Maltese " initiated a middle-man IM session to talk with me about it. He's now pre-banning me from groups & sims.

Admin for the group " Gaming Furries! ", " AngelFox Benmergui " has instituted the ban on his word only.
I asked for permission to share our IM's about it & was told no.

No word what sims yet.

As you might know this year marks 12 years since my wife, Joan Irwin-Cerone, lost her 3-year fight to a rare form of cancer called AngioSarcoma just shy of 35 years of age.

Each year I’ve joined in ‘The Ride for Roswell’, a fundraiser to help the hospital she was treated at - The Roswell Park Cancer Institute (RPCI) in Buffalo, NY.

This year I will be hosting my annual 36 hr Radio Stream Marathon out of Second Life for our fundraising team, ‘End Of Cycle For Sarcoma’ from 12:30am Saturday Morning the 27th until 12:30 Sunday Afternoon the 28th (Eastern Time).

So, with my unemployment time, I'm finally working on house stuff - cleaning, organizing... things that just got away from me for FAR too long. One of the items I relocated was my first cell phone from Cricket: a Nokia 6370. As most of you know, Nokia phones are NOTORIOUSLY hard to kill... and, apparently, so are the settings and memory.

See, on a whim I decided to plug it in and see if it would hold a charge again (Looks Like it DOES!), if it would see any network coverage where I live (nnnnnope and no surprise there).... and if an old audio recording Fujin and I had made was still in there....

Yes. Yes it is. From 3 Dec 2003, recorded at Chili's, Transit Road, Williamsville, NY.

Yes, I remember it very clearly now.

With a little creative audio cabling I was able to punch the headphone audio into the computer and record the file the old-fashioned patch-cable way. The audio quality isn't great, but it's enough to hear us all.. and the maniacal laughter that TinyTribble used to make at 1 year old.

So how about that? Two days into my joblessness and I've already saved the life of an otherwise orphaned sound clip.

I'd say today was a HIGHLY productive day.

In late 2002, Shujin's wife ("Fujin") was diagnosed at RPCI with a rare form of cancer, "Angiosarcoma", and given the treatments available at the time, her best-case survivability was 20% at 5 years. So with the odds far against us, RPCI's amazing staff of researchers, surgeons, doctors and nurses did what they could with chemo, radiation and surgery to help her pull through.

Unfortunately on 22 May 2005, after battling for nearly 3 years her fight ended at 34 years of age.

In 2008, The Feline Conspiracy in Second Life began hosting a fund raiser for the Ride for Roswell to help RPCI & The Ride for Roswell.

In 2012 Shujin upped the ante by switching the fund raising event into a 36 hour radio marathon - not unlike the way M.D.A. & Jerry Lewis used to... only LONGER!

This year, 10 years after we lost Fujin, Shujin Tribble is AGAIN taking over the radio stream from Feline Conspiracy ( http://LiveDJ.TFCsl.com ) for the next 36 hr fund raising marathon for the Ride for Roswell team, 'End Of Cycle for Sarcoma' ( http://RideForRoswell2015.kintera.o.....ycleForSarcoma ) to benefit the Roswell Park Cancer Institute (RPCI - http://www.RoswellPark.org ) in Buffalo, NY.

This year the event is opening up for Co-Hosts to come on air via Skype (audio only) to keep him honest, keep him awake, to be interviewed and to talk about the necessity of organization like RPCI.
