The convention overall went pretty well, although this year there were a lot of problems. :/
It was no ones direct fault its just a lot of things happen. The people I went with had problems even before the convention even started. We had a few people drop out of the room and had to find new roommates for the hotel we were staying at and a bunch of others things happen that I wont go into discussion about...I'm not saying the con was a complete disaster but it had its fair share of issues. Overall though I think I had a good time.

Its finally here! I can't believe its already been over a year since the last one! Time flys by to quickly these days. I have just arrived in Pittsburg earlier today and although we've had a few misshaps in our group everything is settled now. I'm staying at the Omni for the duration of the convention and hope to meet old friends and even make some new ones. I am looking forward to having a great weekend at my favorite furry convention.

Well today is my birthday, and boy what a year it has been so far. I havent done much today, just went to class as usual and come back home to have a Spegatti dinner. Its just a normal day to me really. Im looking forward to several things this year including a small cosplay convention here that is going on at the University of Buffalo. Im also going to be at Anthrocon this year and possibly Midwest Fur Fest as well. Hope to see some of you at Anthrocon. Its been a long year, but a good one and I look forward to what the future brings me.

Sorry for the delay in getting a new journal up, I guess I just have been lazy. Things have been going well, actually they're going fantastic. I've started my second semister at a technical college and I'm taking automotive technology classes. I hope to further my knowladge base so it can help me become a automotive technician so I can work towards a good career and finally have a good paying job. I could start a job at a Chevrolet Dealership, only problem is I need to get the vehicle I have paid off and get it inspected and registered as well as make some minor repairs. I dont have the money for it so I'm looking for a part time job in the mean time.

All that aside, this is the real reason that I have made this journal. Love for me is something that always gets me in trouble. I just want t obe happy with someone. I've tried having relationships, all long distance and they always end the same. Long distance will not work with me. I need to first focuse on college and getting a job before I start trying to seek out a relationship, but lately I feel like I should just wait for love to find me...

I met someone at a furry convention that I developed strong feelings towards. Being around them during my time there made me happier then I have ever been. I think that these feelings were premature and that I should have just been content with the friendship I had. I told them of my feelings towards them after the con and it didnt go well. They avoided talking to me because they didnt know how to repsond to such a statement. I cant fault them for that. I pushed to hard and pressured this individual for a relationship and I should have just stopped. I feel like I jepordized my friendship with this person because of it. We went back to talking and I apologized for pressuring them so much. I just wish I could take it all back. I dont think things would have been different honestly. I just want ot be happy with someone, someone I can trust and share my bed with at nights and be with for the rest of my life. I thought I found love, what I found was nothing.

I cant force someone to have feelings for me, those kinds of feelings need to come naturally. These memories I have and the regrets I have are killing me on the inside. I wish I could just get up and get over things like this but its just so hard for me to do so. I guess I just have to move on...

The con went great I got to meet meet with a few friends inlcuding  Ceryx and  Drakonus and some other people too. Overall it was a great con except for the emergency evacuation that happened Saturday Night. On Saturday I went out with relatives who live in the area for dinner and it went reallty well.

I dont know if you have heard but apparently Chlorine gas was released in a stairwell between the 9 and 10 floor of the Hyatt Regencey Hotel. 19 people had to be hospitalized but they were all released soon afterwards. At first I thought it was just someone who pulled the fire alarm as a prank or someone was smoking under a fire detector. But when I noticed so many emergency response vehicles were comming along I knew something was amiss. The had everyone go into the convention center until the Hazmat Teams could decontaminate the building. Luckily non of my friends were adversly affected by the gas. No one really knows how it happened. Authoritiets discovered what apperead to be powedered chlorine on the floor and are investigating it as a criminal matter as it appears that it was purposefully released.

After that whole fiasco, the con went on as normal and I had a great time meeting up with old friends and hanging out. I went to the Kage Story hour and 2 the ranting Gryphon. They were the same acts as the ones at Anthrocon but I still enjoyed them. I also went to the charity event, Kage 2 Gether. That show was pretty funny too. Overall I had a great time and I cant wait until next year.

Finally! One of my favorite holidays of the year, next only to Christmas itself. Not sure what I really have in mind for the day, well technically tomorrow since I need to go to sleep now, but you get the idea.

Im to old to go trick or treating and I dont think I will be wearing any costumes, maybe my fursuit but Im not sure. I have one class to go to on Fridays and after that I'm pretty much free for the whole day. I'm be able to go see Fury in theaters with a friend of mine if everything works out and then I'll going over to his house for a Halloween party, maybe I'll even bring my fursuit with me, people wont know the difference because its Halloween party lol. I have recieved sad news today from my Facebook feed. Apparently  konotashi is no longer with us. Apparently she was battling deepression and lost her fight with it. This is very concerning because it is almost reminiscent of the death of Robin Williams not to long ago. Depression is a very serious thing and I know that I have had battles with it myself, even going so far as to having suicidal thoughts, but I never give into them. To say that such people are "selfish" when they commit these acts is ignorance at its finest. People deal with depression in different ways and for some, they see no way out of it. I dont know what was going on with Marissa but I feel a great ammount of guilt that I was unable to help her. I sure wish I had gotten to know her but now, I guess I never will until the afterlife. To the friends and family of Marissa I give you my deepest sympathy and condolences, its a tragedy what has happened and I hope that in time, all wounds will heal for you. I lost my best friend Trey last year, although not under the same circumstances. I know and can empathize with such a loss, its painful and takes time to move on from such an event. Please if you are ever having problems with depression talk to some one and get the help you need, dont resort to fixing a temperary problem with a permanent solution you may end up regretting. There are people there fo you that love you and will care for you, and I am one of them. May you rest in peace Marissa, No Pain Remains, No Feeling, Eternity Awaits.

This is something that I've been putting off for a while because I'm fearful for what people will think of me, especially my closer friends but oh well. It may come to no surprise to some of you that I am actually bisexual and have been for quite a while, ever since High School. No its not something that I choose, its something that choose me and its something I cannot help. I dont think it's prefence I believe its something a whole lot deeper then that. Another thing I wanted to bring up is that I am not longer a Christian in the traditional sense of being one, I've decided to take my own path as a Deist/Agnostic. That doesnt mean I'm not going to cut ties with all my Christian friends because quite honestly some of the best people I've come to known and some of my closest friends are Bible believing Christians and good at heart, I just dont see myself as being one for quite a few reasons. I do still adhere to some of the practices and teachings of the Bible but I do not believe in it in a literal sense. Perhaps I'm just taking a break to clear my head and perhaps not. This is the life I'm choosing and its my God giving right to live the way I want with no fear of consequence for the slightest mistake I may make. I hope some of you can understand where I'm comming from and still accept me for who I am, thanks for reading this and have agreat day.

Let us remember the people who died today, 13 years ago on September 11, 2001. Especially the men and women who were the first responders who gave their lives in the name of the people they are sworn to protect. May we never forget their sacrifice.

I remember that faitful day all to well. I was at a daycare after school when I saw on the news these two buildings in New York city, the World Trade Center and watched as the planes flew into the buildings. At first I really didnt understand it. Then both of the buildings collapsed. I was in utter shock but I was only 8 years old when it happened so I was only a child and didnt really understand anything. I just cant believe its been 13 years since that has happened.

May we never forget those that were taken in that tragedy.

I have to say that with the state that humanity is in I'm pretty disquested. One of the things that has recently caught my attention is "The Christian Teen" YouTube page. Now let me be clear, at this point I'm pretty much a Diest bordering on a Agnostic for my own reasons. But I'm still ok with Christianity, I just dont necissarily agree with everything there is about it.

I've noticed that there is a shit load of people making obsene and rude comments and are basically bullying this guy for sharing his faith. Yeah I dont agree with all of it but I'm not going to treat another human being like complete shit just because I disagree with him on his beleifs, thats rediculous and shallow. I cant believe people would treat someone like this. Hiding behind their computer screens because their complete cowards.

Perhaps I shouldnt be getting so upset over this but it really makes me mad seeing someone vulnerable being treated like this. Yeah I understand that not a lot of people necissarily agree with Christianity or like it and thats fine, live your life the way you want to but dont treat people like shit just because of it, thats sickining and downright evil.

So my first week of classes at the Community College I am attending is over. I did however, accidently miss a class yesterday. I thought my class on Friday didnt start until 2:30 p.m. but it turns out that it started at 12:15 p.m. and neded at 1:55 p.m. My friend had asked if I wanted to go out ot lunch and by the time he got here my class was probably already over. I'll just explain next week to the instructor that I got the times mixed up. Usually insturctors are very lenient the first week of classes, I dont think it will be that big of an issue. It went really well but not a lot going on. I still need to figure some things out for financial aid but overall I'm in good standing. I just need to wait for my tools to show up which should be by next week. I also need to get some steel toed boots but my Uncle is helping me with that. Overall I think I'm going to do very well in the classes I am taking and I'm really looking forward to this. I have a feeling I'm going to do very well. :)

Yep, I'm going to a local community college here in Buffalo for the Auto Tech Training Center to get training as an automotive mechanic. I feel very strongly about this and I know this is what I want to do. I like hands on things and I certainly dont want a desk job for the rest of my life. I know it may be a bit difficult but I'm determined and willing. I think this is going to be a fun experience in all honesty, I mean I dont have an extensive background knowladge on how atuomobiles work and what not but thats what these classes are meant for. I think everything will go alright and I'll more then likely get a job right out of school after two years. I'm really looking forward to this and I believe I have a bright future ahead of me :)

Just got back from the Adirondacks recently. I went there Monday the 18th and came back on to Buffalo on the 20th and then I took a bus to Rochester to visit my friend  DocRedWolf for his Birthday. Im at his house right now. The trip was a lot fun but very exhausting. On the 18th I got a ride by the pastor of a church I used to go to and he gave me a ride to his brothers house were we packed all our things in a van and drove for 6 hours to the camping site to get into our cabin. After we got situated we got some food at a dinner that was at the camp site and retired for the night. We got up early on the 19th and drove to the hiking grounds and began hiking. We were going to climb mount Colden but unfortunatley we were not able to. We managed to get to a lake but it was more like a pound and kind of dissapointing. We then went to Angel Falls and took some pictures. The pastors brother even got some water from the Falls and used a filter so we could drink the water safely. After a while we hiked back down and drove around to find somewhere to eat. We found a pizza place and got wings and pizza for the night. After that we went back to our cabin which was named Norway for some reason and went to sleep. I think we probably hiked for 10 miles that day and were on the trails for 10 hours. on the 20th we got up early and drove back to where the pastor's brother lived and then I got my stuff in the pastors car and he drove me to the bus station where I got a bus to go to Rochester and I got picked up by my Doc and I went to his Mom's house. All in all the experience was a lot of fun, and I would deffinitly be willing to do it next year

Today marks one year after the passing of my dear friend Trey....wow I cant believe its been a year since this has happened. Me and him were really good friends during high school and I really miss him. I listened to Devotchka How It Ends and I almost broke down in tears listening to it. I love that song because it was the theme for Gears of War 2 and thats a game I'll always remember him by. We had some many good memories and inside jokes and playing video games. We had a great time together and I only wish he was not taken from us, it wasnt his time to go. Well, here's to the good times Trey, I'll miss you man and I'll never forget you!

Well today came very sad news. Robin Williams is pronounced dead at the age of 63. He was a great inspiration to me and countles others for his unique sense of humor and acting ability. He stared in many well loved animated movies such as Furngully and Alladin. he also started in films such as Dead Poets Society and Good Will Hunting whom he won an Academy Award for. This was a great man and my prayers go to the family. The world has lost a great man.

Wow, what a time to remember! This years Anthrocon was even better then last year. I didnt get to go with the group I went with last year but I did get to meet a lot of cool new people. During the opening ceremonies on friday, Anthrocon recieved an award The "Gertie Award" from The Toonseum. Kage made announcement that I thought was really cool. He read a letter from the Mayor of Pittsburg who officially declared July 5, Anthrocon Day. I got to suit for the first time at a con and it was a lot of fun. I got to meet  Drakonus  zodd95  04-22-90  SedrinTheStar  niic  SimonTheDigger  neptuna and some new people like  whitewing121  FurryDrake and others. I didnt really attend any panels, except for the one I hosted myself, which was a Dragon Meet and Great that  04-22-90 and  SedrinTheStar helped me with. I also attended some preformances such as Uncle Kage's Story Hour, The Ranting Gryphon with 2 and Kage/2-Gether, which was a exclusive preformance benefiting the National Aviary Charity. The shows were pretty funny and I really enjoyed them. I have to say that my favorite part of the con was the Fusuit photo and the Fursuit parade throughout the Convention center. All in all I had a great time and I cant wait to go next year.

Anthrocon is going by fast but I'm having a lot of fun! I've been meeting new people, hanging out with friends I've known online for years and I've finally been able to meet in person. I have to say the highlight of the con so far was the fursuit photo and the fursuit parade! I also liked Kage Story Hour and The Ranting Gryphon, both were really great. Tomorry, or should I say, later today I look forward to seeing both Kage and 2 will be preforming together at the Kage/2-Gether which is an exlusive preformance in support for the chairity this year for The National Aviary. It should be really good. The Dragon Panel I ran with  04-22-90 and  SedrinTheStar was also a colossal success. I'm sad there is only one day but so far things are going great and I'm having the time of my life

I'm really excited to be able to be going again this year! I know I'm going ot have lots of fun and that this is going to be very memorable for me like it was last year. Unfortunatley a lot of the friends I went with last year are not going this year so I'm kind of bumed by that but at least I'll be having a great time. I saw How To Train Your Dragon the day before yesterday, June 15 in the a Regal Theater with a few friends and wow was it great! I thought it wasnt going to be as good as the original but boy was I wrong, It was a lot better then the original! Some new characters were also added such as Hiccup's mom, Valka who is a total badass lol. A few sad moments in the movie but I wont spoil it for anyone. Overall I thought it was a great movie. I remember when I saw the first How To Train Your Dragon in theaters with my Mom and little sister on April 17, 2010. Seeing How To Train Your Dragon 2 in theaters was a real treat and I really enjoyed it. :)
