Seems its been a long time since I last posted a journal or general update.

It's no surprise that 2020 was a pretty terrible year for a lot of people in general and for me that was no different. I wont lie I had some pretty rough struggles over the last year and even into the beginning of this year. Things in the Army have gotten pretty hectic and I've learned that being a NCO can be very demanding and time consuming at times. Overall I'm just really worn out and need a break. Not going on vacation or going to cons over the last year really sucked too. Overall not doing to good but not doing to bad either. I was hoping to attend TFF but that was sadly canceled as well. I'm hoping I'll be able to attend Anthrocon next year.
My next deployment is set for later this year so unfortunately I wont be able to attend TFF next year either. I kind of consider it my home con and have always enjoyed it. All in all I think I'm doing well and things will get better in time.

Well it was going to happen sooner or later but it doesn’t make it any less sad or upsetting to me. Stan Lee, the face of Marvel has sadly passed on yesterday. A comic book legend and an icon to many he was very inspirational to a lot of people, including me. As someone who frequently makes characters enviorments and stories Lee came as a huge inspiration to me and my own work. Overall he was a great man who will be forever remembered. He may be go gone now but his work will live on forever.

The time has finally arrived for my first deployment overseas! To be honest I am a bit nervous about it but I think I will do well. I cannot say when or where I am going, only that I am leaving soon. I will have internet access while I am overseas but how well it is remains to be seen. I will be gone for a long time but I am still going to try to make it to TFF and BLFC next year and maybe Anthrocon as well! I'm sad I wont be able to attend Anthrocon this year but duty calls! Other big news is that I am looking into finally getting my bat Valkron made into a partial and commission a professional tailor for his outfit! It will be quite expensive between the too but well worth it! I hope to be able to wear him for TFF next year! I also plan on getting many other commissions done for my bat and perhaps Archadius as well over the next few months with a few choice artists in mind. Overall I welcome this new adventure I'm about to head to and look forward to getting back. Until then, see you all later and stay well!

So I decided to go to TFF last minute. I wanted to go to FWA but do to complications that were out of my hands I am not able to attend this year. I am planning on going to AC and MFF but even those cons are up in the air. I hope to be getting my fursuit of Radar done hopefully sometime after FWA. I was suppose to pick him up there but again I am unable to go. TFF was a lot of fun and even though I didn't have a fursuit I enjoyed myself. I have to make a shout out to , your really a fun guy to hang out with. I even was able to order a custom kigu from Lemonbrat. I'm really excited to be getting that. Overall it was a fun con and I really enjoyed myself there.

I guess I just had one of those thought provoking moments where I really ask myself what I'm doing with my life. For the most part I'm pretty well off. Don't really make much but the benefits of being in the Army more then out weight my paycheck for the month lol. To be perfectly honest I don't like where I am stationed, it would take quite a while to fully explain it. I'm graduating AIT next week and hopefully leave for my duty station wherever that might be.

It's been a crazy past 6 years with more then a few bumps along the road. From losing friends along the way to more then a few heartaches. Relationships seem to be one of those things I just cant make ends meet with. Every time I try to form one it just turns into a mess and leaves me in a state of sever depression. I guess I just don't have the best of self confidence and more or less when things go wrong I'm pretty hard on myself. I think that, for the most part I have grown a lot over the past 6 years. I was childish and very emotionally unstable. I guess nowadays I just try to hide what's really going on from everyone unless your part of a close circle of friends I have to really know whats up. Nothing against anyway it's just I don't feel its my place to be talking about my problems with everyone. What's more frustrating is the fact that I keep seem to be having the same problems after all these years, I just wish I could get over them because in the long wrong my emotional tendencies get the better of me and just override logic which can be especially dangerous.

The Army has taught me many things, most of them I don't think were what they would expect. I've learned to work with people I don't like and not get so easily frustrated with people over things they said to me which I guess I have managed better over these long 11 months. I still have a lot to work on, don't get me wrong. I suppose I've come down with what some people call "an existence crisis" where one finds themselves asking who they really are and what their purpose is on this crazy world. More times then not I find myself reflecting on past events that I feel embarrassed and ashamed of. I have no control over what has happened in the past, however I do have control over current events that effect the future and for the most part I think I am doing well.

Happy New Years everyone! It's been a pretty hecktic year for a lot of us! I know for me its been being in training for quite a while in the Army. I'm expected to graduate AIT in mid February and then go to my first duty station afterwards. I am looking forwards to going to some conventions so long as I am able to. I'm back home for the holidays! Its great to be able to come home and catch up with family and friends. I'll be back in New York for about two weeks before I have to go back to base in AZ. I'm hoping to have some good times and memorable moments!

For those of you that reside in the United States by now you would know that Donald Trump will become the 45th President of the U.S. Allegations aside and what not I remain hopeful that things will turn out well in the end. I wont lie to any of you, I did not vote for either candidate. I didn't feel either met the requirements of what a good president should be but in the end I think we got the better won out of the shit deal we had going on for us. I am pretty worried about the current state of civil rights, mostly concerning with LGBT rights as the Republicans have control over the house and Senate. Then again a lot of Republicans cannot stand Trump and even Paul Ryan, the speaker of the House pretty much dissed Trump which I found was hilarious. There is a lot of fear and animosity going around, not to mention the usual social media drama but things seem to be getting out of hand. I mean people are disowning their own family members over this election. My only hope is that things will die down in the coming weeks. Overall things have me pretty anxious right now...

Hello everyone, just wanted to make a brief update. It's hard to believe my last journal was 5 months ago! Wow did the time fly by. Anyways I hope you are all doing well. Just wanted to inform everyone that I am doing well for myself. I have made it to the final phase for my training in AIT for my MOS. Flightline is where I will get to fly the UAV I have been assigned and graduate. My expected graduation date was initially in April but since then has been moved back to February. I have been here for 8 months and I'm looking forward to graduation! I'm not sure where my duty assignment will be but I've been hearing I might be going to Fort Bliss in Texas since they are setting up a new UAS unit. I have paid off my fursuit for Radar and I am hoping to get him by the time I go home for the holidays in December. Only a little longer before I get to go back home! I have also been getting a few commissions as you can see with a few more on the way. Anyways I just wanted to keep you guys informed. I hope you are all having a great day.

Hello everyone, I hope you all have been having a great Memorial Day weekend! Things have been going pretty well for me in AIT. I have been passing all of my exams and soon I'll be done with UGS or Unmaned Ground School and then moving on to USO or Unmaned Scout Operations. I also had the pleasure of having a 4 day weekend. I deffinitly needed the break from the monotony of day to day living on post. Today is a very special day, especially considering that I am in the armed forces myself. Today is a day of remembrance of those that have served and passed on from this world in service to their country. Its a very honorable act and one that I have the highest respect for. I would encourage all of you to not take for granted the freedoms you enjoy and remember those that have given the ultimate sacrife for you and for our nation. May we always Honor the Fallen.

Sorry for the lack of activity. A lot has been going on for the past month or so. I've graduated basic combat training in the Army and now I've moved on to AIT at Fort Huachuca in Arizona. My MOS is 15W which is a UAV Operator. I honestly am unsure of the course work here as I've been hearing a mix of opinions on the level of difficulty. We need to attain an 80 or higher on the testes in order to pass and apparently they changed up the curriculum here and its a little more difficult. I'm confident I'll be able to pass all my tests and move on to my first duty station. I would have started classes in April but I was unable to get my upslip done in time before classes started. I'm on holds until classes start again which wont be until may. Being a hold can be pretty miserable at times, especially when everyone is doing their own things instead of following the rules. I have to say I really don't like a lot of the people here. I might also be here a lot longer then I initially thought. I thought I would get out by the end of July as according to my contract but depending on which UAV I get assigned to I might be here for as long as a year. I really wanted to go to Midwest Furfest this year but I'm not sure I'll be able to. The only leave I can take is during holiday block leave. I'm hoping I can go to Anthrocon next year. I wont be able to go this year so I'm pretty bummed about it. I've gone for hte past three years in a row and this will be the first year I don't go. I have a lot of what I want here, an Xbox, TV and my new gaming laptop. I've also got into contact with someone who can make my next fursuit for my Dutch Angel Dragon Radar. I'm going to be start making payments next month once I've saved up enough. Overall life is going pretty well for me and I cant really complain all to much. The future is looking pretty bright.

I'm happy to announce that I have officially graduated from Basic Combat Training! It seemed like basic flew by. I completed everything and even passed the APFT with a 206! I didn't think I was going to make it this far but I guess I proved myself wrong. I pushed myself a lot and I have been rewarded for doing so. I graduated on February 26 and now I'm stationed at Fort Huachuca in Arizona for my AIT training. I'll be here for a while but I know I'll do well. The high elevation here will make running tough but I know with a bit of hard work I'll get used to it. Best of all when I get stationed at places with lower elevations I'll be even better. For now I'll be able to talk to everyone more often. Hope to keep in contact with all of you! :)

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all! I'm back from Basic Combat Training for the time being until I go back on January 2. I'm enjoying the holidays so far. I like being back home and spending some much needed time with friends and family. Basic is not so bad. The only real thing I'm worried about is the running. I really need to build strength and endurance in my legs. I'm deffinitly going to go out jogging and try to improve on my running. Hopefully I'll be able to pass the APFT next time. I was imformed that we will be doing another physical fitness test shortly when we get back. I hope I'll be ready. But enough about all that. I hope you guys are enjoying your Christmas and I wish you all a Happy Holidays!

This will be my last journal for a while. Tomorrow begins my journey in the Army, one that I am both nervous and excited about. I'm probably going to be away for a while. Basic Training takes 10 weeks to complete but because of the timing of my placement I have an additional 2 weeks for vacation during Christmas and new years. More then likely I'll be going up to Chicago for a week to visit family there. Im going to basic in Fort Sill Oklahoma and After that I will be going to Fort Huachuca in Arizona for my AIT training as a UAV Operator. I will have a lot more privileges then so I will be able to have internet access. After this is all said and done for my training and I get to my duty station I will more then likely invest in a new fursuit and then plan to go to Midwest Fur Fest and Anthrocon. Then again this is all in the future so we'll see when it comes to that time. I hope to talk to you all soon when I get out.

With a lot of thought I've decided to join the Army. With that I can finally make a future for my self. I realized I probably jumped the gun a little to quickly and probably gave it a little more though but what is done is done. I dropped my classes for my second year at the community college I was attending for automotive technology. I now realize I should have waited and completed my second year of classes before I enlisted but there's no turning back now. I'm truly excited to be a part of the military and bring what I have to the table and possibly make a good career from the job I picked. I'm going to be a UAV Operator for the Army. I leave for basic training at the end of November and after that I go to my AIT training. I will have more privleges in AIT so hopefully I can get back in touch with people then. I think this is the beginning of a new and exciting chapter in my life.
