I must confess
Posted 8 years agoThat I absolutely love and adkre Baras or Barazokuesque art and body type/shapes. I really think its adorable, very handsome, and gorgeous.
To me, it seems very masuline -which isn't a bad thing right?-, very strong and powerful deapite how they may visually appear, as well as loving and protective.
In my eyes, they seem a very huggable, happy, fascinating lot, and I bare no shame in loving it; they also seem to be able to protect those they carea bout too, and I love that aspect.
Not entirely sure what else that could mean about myself, but it is absolutely fine to me.
Just thought I would put that out there, for anyone who decides to read and comment about this.
Have a great Sunday~

Happy Fourth of July!!
Posted 8 years agoHappy Fourth of July! I hope you all have a great day US citizen or not, and stay safe~
I really need to get a job..
In other news, I am finally (hopefully) solid on what j want the bipedal/anthro Saurians to look like, as well as the architecture of my aliens would look like. I have tweaked -but not yet written- my lore behind it as well.
Also thinking of A'renax taking more of the spotlight time to time.
Otherwise, have a good day!

Mini update!
Posted 8 years agoHello everyone! Making an update announcement about my Bipedal Saurians -Ceratopsians, Ankylosaurus and Stegosaurus- including the jumpsuits in general!
As of today, the bipedal Dinosaurs are now going to 4 feet wide, and since I have included a new Ceratopsian -Eotriceratops Xerinsularis- , they all range from 12-14 feet tall. In addition, the saurians no longer have flat stomachs. They now gave "small bellies" or kinda pudgy looking syomachs; not fat or obese mind you; they are still VERY muscular, beefy and bulky, but they were bioengineered, and genetically modified to eat, among other things -they are bio organic weapons. Heck, their ribs can unhinge to accomodate more food too!
I will of course change their limbs to be..well bigger,so they can accommodate the weight as well, I'll see what I can do about their leg and feet shapes.
^This is mainly the bipedal saurians. Theropods will left alone sine their are horizontally oriented, their stomach areas are fine.
As for the Jumpsuits:
Saurischian Jumpsuit
The Form-fitting All Purpose Jumpsuit, is an article of garb that is a staple of the USDR, patterned in Slate and Black-Grey colorations, this jumpsuit is made of a soft yet tight fabric substance. With a form of Performance Polycarbonate, this suit is capable of keeping the user warm in the harshest of cold environments, including the vacuum of space due to being vaccum sealed users must wear a sealed helmet, full gloves and tail sock to benefit from this feature. In addition with PP, these pieces of garb are woven with an armor weave property throughout the suit, turning this outfit not only as something protect a saurian from harsh weather and other conditions, but it is effectively a light-medium hybrid armor that bolsters their already tough scaly hides. The materials used provide the wearer being immune to slashing, stabbing and bludgeoning, as well as kinetic strikes, ballistic attacks, and even limited energy protection. As time went on from its first incarnation during the Resource Wars, the FAJ has proven to be an indispensable staple of the United Saurischian Directorial Republic.
No matter the body shape or size, this jumpsuit is up to the task; the “gloves” are actually art of the jumpsuit, though typically designed for those with three fingers, slight adjustments can be made for those with more appendages in that area if needed. Acting like a second skin, this uniform article is tight enough to allow both the user and other observers to see how one’s body looks underneath, nearly down to ever detail within reason *your scales will not be one of those subjects able to be seen*; muscular frames are a source of pride and positivity in Saurian culture, meaning one can admire others and themselves while utilizing this protective garb.
Let me know if you have, any questions or thoughts down in the comments below~
Thank you for listening!

Conflicted (Yes its about that Bird Journal *rolls eyes*)
Posted 8 years agoI have been working on my Alien Dinosaurs four +4 years. Through a crappy rp group of people I absolutely and still dislike, at least three members in it that I wish would die -that would make me happy for certain , I put my made up nation through a lot of histoey that I could conjure up, and attempt at all times for it make sense to me, and to those I like online too.
A reason why I would like to make them birds, or at least a good portion of them, would envoke evolutionary change -a lot of species contonuously change (though I don't think humanity is ever going to evolve any further...such a fucking failed species as far as I am concerned. If humanity IS changing for the "better" I cannot see it right now. But we aren't here to talk about primates), because the environmental situation compels them to. If you cannot adapt and survive, you will die, because you are not fit enough to live. That is the rules of nature, Darwinism to "civilization", though he stole his ideas from someone else actually.
I find it difficult to change anything into birds however, because I have eatablished so much for my Dinosaur Aliens...both visually through commissions -which I am extremely greatful the artists who should know whom they are- and descriptions I type to those I consider decent friends (i have trust issues shut up).
It could be extremely strange to make such a drastoc change too, because despite all the death, tragic events, brutal wars and so forth, there are still a lot of Theropods and predator Dinosaurs. The omnivores may be prominant now, but they are still out numbered by every other grnus of Dinosaur that may enjoy munching on meat.
I just don't know what to do sometimes. I cherish all that I create, and hold it extremely close to my heart, since I pour so much effort into it...thus becoming possessive. It is difficult for me to let go...
I am not afriad of trying this..or trying new things in general..or atnleast I think I am not scared...but..I hate to make mistakes, nor do I want to be indecisive or "wishy-washy" either. I am 23 years old, I should be able to handle this right?
I just am uncertain what course of action to take. I hope I am not making a mountain out of a mole hill, but..I suppose more planning is in order.
It just wouldn't make any sense for the theropods on this not Terran world to turn into bird people, when I ALREADY ESTABLISHED that they lost their feathers, and look more reptilian due to their environment and genetic tampering from the Tractatori aliens. Their evolutionary journey branches away from how the Terran ones evolved.

TMI Question a Character
Posted 8 years agoHey everyone, I've decided to try this on for size: Ask one of my characters a question!
This was a bit inspired by
dinobellylover66, so I decided to try it myself.
Characters you may ask:
*A'renax -my in-universe self, whom is a Styracosaurus.
*S'arkil -my first character for my creations, very special to me, also a Styracosaurus.
*G'erak -one of A'renax's buddies and squad-mates, he is a Triceratops.
*Z'arus -a scientist with an interet in xenobiology to an extent, a triceratops.
*V'anax -an ensign with a minor temper, a Diabloceratops.
*S'avril -a Commander, and the only surviving member of the former Military Council, triceratops.
*R'azik -a scientist with an aptitude for spacial anomalies and life form study, wants to fit in with their peers; a Utahraptor.
*Z'ax -an MP whom happens to be a pistolier, Deinonychus.
*V'exton -"famous" war veteran, who ends up being somewhat biter, but loyal to those whom he befriends, but tends to enjoy eating people to make himself happy, Tyrannosaurus Rex.
*K'avax -peacekeeper, mercenary and part time surveyor with the science community, Allosaurus.
I've actually got a lot of characters, but the list would be extremely long, so we'll settle with these guys for now. Go ahead and ask'em questions if you'd like!

Stellaris SG1?
Posted 8 years agoI was looking down sort of far away in space at some fallen empire ships from stellaris, versing Crystaline entity creature about the same size as my ships. For some reason Michael Shanks was playing with the crystal creatures, so I guess we were versing eachother for sime reason.
I was calling in some reinforcements, but each ship was expensive, so it was slow in coming. He would harass my vessels every now and then, but not attack, just antagonize. I pan the view to see what he was doing, and there is this GIANT BLOB of crystaline entites. My eyes go wide as he then advances the whole blob at me, and in only a few seconds, my ship get destroyed before their tachyon lances could really do anything meaningful.
Feeling a bit frustrated, not to mention he would shyr up, and was being annoying when he talked -I usually enjoy him and his character-, i woke up.
Uhm...what does this even mean?

USDR update!
Posted 8 years agoHey folks who care about reading, I decided today to make an update about the USDR:
I've always talked/texted to online friends that the United Saurischian Directorial Republic had been waring and fighting itself for thousands of years, yet the character ages are in the hundreds. Well I did some thinking and came to a conclusion -all of the Dino-Aliens who survived all the tragedy, are in their thousands age wise; some were alive long before the enclave was founded too, and lived through ALL of the events, but not without being untouched.
Major V'exton, served in all the wars, and while being a Tyrannosaurus Rex gives him quite the reputation, his results are becoming stern, somewhat crabby at times, and also PTSD, since he also lost his best friend -Zueller, a Ceratosaurus- in the Second Civil War, not able to bring himself to devour their corpse. Instead, he buried it in the wilds when he had the opportunity. He is 7, 500 years old.
Major T'orcher also served in all the wars, lost good friends, however he did massacre countless enemies...and eating most of them. While an actually nice Triceratops despite his huge beefy appearance, he tends to be a bit smash-happy in battle, preferring to destroy the enemy with hand-to-horn combat, if not devour his enemies and add them to muscles and waist line. Him and V'exton actually worked in the same unit from time to time, though it was pretty awkard withthe Second Civil War, considering the Tyrant Lizard species was the one who instigated it. Sometimes it was hard to see who was a loyalist and who wasn't. At the end of it all, T'orcher also suffers from occasional PTSD in the form of painful memories of the battles he had fought and sometimes almost died in; that was also back when the Saurischian Enclave used the equivalent of flame throwers...I'll let you imagine a genocidal scene filled with crispy corpses as long as you want. He does however drown it out the best he can through compulsive eating habits, resulting him in becoming 12 feet tall- a "rare" feat for Triceratops on the Ring, not to mention almost 80% of the time sporting a muscle gut....inadvertently looking like a beefy "bara"; just don't lose your spine when he hugs you, its quite...constricting! He would be one of the older Dinosaurs along with Vexton at 7,467 years of age.
Director S'tormhorne was a military scientist during all the wars as well, and even was around long before the Enclave was even considered. S'tormehorne is actually considered to be an ancient Triceratops, given how scarred and weathered he can appear along his scaly hide. Being the only Triceratops in existence, other than his late broodmate (the equivalent of a "brother" since everyone is a clone of one another), T'hunderhorne, to grow to the whopping height of 16'10! Thats bout the size of a barn or a decent house! Unlike his broodmate, S'tormhorne for the most part is serious, a no nonsense, calculating, sometimes blunt sort of Dinosaur. Don;t let his demenour, appearance and the fact he sounds kind of similar to Michael Ironside discourage you though -he can be a nice, understanding, compromising, considerate horn-head. He rose to power as the next up for leader once the Second Civil War had bee nconcluded, blowing through the different challenges and tests required for leadership hood, even did away with the old "Emperor" title, not wanting his fellow saurischians to be...dragged down by the past like that. His "regime" actually managed to pull the Republic back onto its feet reasonably well, even allowed for a few old traditions to return in different ways, to make the people happy. I suppose what passes as their government might look...discouraging from the outside, but its honestly not very bad if at all, everyone actually loves it -even the old enemy turned citizen Raptorans among other good deeds. In conclusion for him, S'tormhorne is 100,000 years old. "I've fought, killed and lived long before you were even alive!"
Thats just a small sample of the update. What do you think?

Hatchday next week...
Posted 8 years agoYeah, I'll be turning of age next week, one year older Spinosaurus.
NO idea what I want to even do either.
With my luck, my job will just schedule me on Sunday at 4 bloody A.M.
In other news, I am starting to like the idea of having a head crest -a smallish one, nothing pronounced that even a Compsagnathus could see. I dunno about neck spines yet, but the little crest would be coolio.
Soo...GRRRAAAAWWHHR! For getting older!

Reminder?
Posted 8 years agoJust thought I would leave a tiny reminder about my Dinosaurs(the beacon of Fortitude ones):
When they speak, they aren't actually moving their jaws and such to "produce" words like humans do. Instead, they will make their norm sounds, but you are getting what they are trying to say -for convenience sake-.
So if they are saying "Hi!" As a call out, or yelling something, its a bellow or roar for example, obviously very loud.
Just thought I'd let you know

Something I wonder about myself...
Posted 8 years agoShould I even have feathers? Yes I supppose other Dinosaurs have feathers here andthere, or on their whole body mostly, as far as human knowledge goes, but...what about me?
I'm a Spinosaurus, my habitat, behavior and life style so to speak, doesn't really...have much use or need for feathers. Maybe they are nice and pretty, sure, but I have a hard time seeing their use.
I don't don't look to attract mates -thats for darn certain-, sure feathers are for the most part water proof due to the oils they generate, and they can keep the "user" warm, yes. But...I have hardly any feathers to begin with! Only a small amount on my head like a mane of some kind. Thats not really going to keep me warm, or have much of a use if I am in or under the water too! Not to mention I get cold really ast, even sickly too -which is why I utterly winter, even though snow is pretty cool (^_^).
I'm just having a hard time thinking of a reason(s) to even have or keep my feathers; heck I'd be a little more stream line without these things dragging me down, if that makes sense??
What do you guys and gals think? Anything you'd like to say?

TMI Thursday!
Posted 8 years agoTMI Thursday again! You know the drill -ask me questions and I will do my best to answer them. Do try to keep them appropriate; keep political things to yourself.
For the (hopefully) last time....!
Posted 8 years agoSpinosaurus isn't a character or "OC"! Spino is me!
I absolutely love fish and seafood, water feels great to be in -as long as it isn't cold-, I am opportunistic in what I eat, and eat what I can when fish or seafood isn't around. I am pretty skinny or thin, lacking hardly any body fat, meaning I get cold very fast and actually love being in warm or hot environments so I can soak up all the heat to stay energized/awake -I'm more active when its not cold.
I'm not too afraid to stand up for myself or what I believe in, and can defend myself physically to the best of my ability, though I prefer to stay out of a fight if I can help it.
I am pretty tall, or at least taller than most people around me, but I don't go bragging about it -there isn't anything really to gain from that. Spinosaurus has a deep connection to myself, and I openly embrace it.
Ever since I was three years old in this "body" I am trapped inside of, I have always and still love Dinosaurs to this day, feeling extremely comfortable and happy to see and be around them; REALLY comfortable and happy, more than anything else. I don't know how else to convey to everyone about that at this point.
I am a Spinosaurus Aegyptiacus.

Don't trust anyone at your job...
Posted 8 years agoOr tell your superiors anything in detail. Everyone just turns it all against you at any chance they get. Creating little packs,of spies; every coworker is a spy, and, will always gossip. Then you get written up for no good reason, even if you are improving.
Its like indirect hazing to be honest. From this day forth, I will trust no one at any job.

Cafinated Spino
Posted 8 years agoYep, I drink coffee now so I can function better at work; never been a mornibg Dino in my life -well, hot chocolate with coffee or expresso in it. The only real problem is it wears off making me drink it more...and urinate way more often than usual ^///^
Art
Posted 8 years agoHey just to let anyone know who cares to read or know, I think I might need to relax on getting comissions ab it because I need to save up money, not to mention I am helping my mom too with paying for things.
aNother reason for this as well, is I need a "proper" reference of myself too. I really love and adore the artists I watch and even have comissioned in the past, but I feel like I need a solid "This is what I look like" kind of thing.
I MIGHT draw it myself first, because I know what I have in mind, specifically my snout and how it looks. I am certain you all know(?) what a Spinosaurus head and especially snout looks like right? ^^;
Unlike "most" Spinosaurus Males, I do not have a head crest, instead I have a mane of feathers.
I would like to try putting it on paper when I am not working back to back days.
Just though I'd let you all know
