soo I think I finally reached the point were get involved into the Furaffinity community at much higher rate than in the last several years. As you might have noticed I changed my style from pen and paper to digital art, to be more specific 3D-Modelling. In all the years I came up with a new Username “Sharknoms” which stuck with me for quite a while now.
In that regard as of now I will upload my stuff under my “new” Username Sharknoms over at

I will keep this account open just for convenience and for those few souls actually faving some of my old art.

sorry to be so inactive the past few months. =(
I finally got a new job and it keeps me much more busy
than I have expected. Theoretically i could use the weekends
but my mail box almost explodes each saturday morning.
Getting spammed with german bureaucratic bullshit.
There is basicly for every tiny aspect of your life a form to fill out.
Hope this will be over soon getting calls from randome dude like:

Anime Underdogs Part 1: Legendz - Tales of the Dragon Kings

It's me Seki!!!oneoneoneeleven XD
I decided to do something special in this Journal.
It started with browsing trough my library of awsome picture of even more awsome artists I collected over the years. It happened that I stumble over an “old” picture which reminded me why I actually started to draw, beside vore of course.
Well I think it's now 3 or maybe even 4 years ago I was bored and I drifted through then endless sea of the Internet, searching for a good anime to watch. I cant remember if I actually searched for an Anime about dragons.
Then it happened! I found a Anime called “Legendz – Tales of the Dragon Kings”. Right at the first Episode I was impressed and that's something which doesn't happen to me very often.
The main reason why I instantly was a fan of the Anime was because of one certain Character called Ranshiin. Without spoilering to much, his somewhat twisted and evil behaviour and denieing of his good core makes him to an very impressive character. To be honest there was never a character before or after Legendz which is crawling from time to time into my mind. Even now 5 Years later the thoughts about him keep me a little bit shiver. :)
In the following I will tell you something about the Anime.
Facts:
Name: Legendz – Tales of the Dragons Kings
Aired: only in Japan April 2004 to May 2005
Episodes: 50
Seasons: 1
Plot:
At first the Anime appeared to be some sort of Pokemon or Digimon Clone because the Monsters called “Legendz” which were created by a Toy Company which is Called “Dark Wiz Company”(“DWC”). The “Toys” came in two parts. First the so called “Soul Doll” which contained the “data” of the a specific Legendz. The Soul Doll will be Placed in a “Talis Pod” Which works like a Tamagochii. The Legendz could be trained and then used to fight other people with a Legendz.
This is probably one reason why this Anime only got 50 Episodes and no second season. Because many people thought: “Oh an other digimon clone thing... Crap”
But the main difference between Digimon and Legendz is that t' 90% build around the Legendz explaining their history. The Humans with an exception of 3 Characters are more or less side story.
Chracters:
Shuzo "Shu" Matsutani:
Normally you describe the main Protagonist with some good attributes like bravery or honour. But Shu is irresponsible and stubborn. He play baseball but he is the worst in it. He loves pretty women and girls and acts a little bit like Brock from Pokemon when he sees one. Non than less he is the “Kaze no Saga” or “Sage of the Wind”. Through the whole Anime there are only a handful of situations where he shows that he can is worth to be the “Kaze no Saga”.
Meg Sprinkle
Meg is way more grown up of the 4 kids and acts often as big sister. She loves to take picture of everything and everyone. Whenever Shu does something stupid or upsets her she hits him with the “Meg Chop”, some sort of karate strike against Shu's head. At first she love to be with the Legendz because she thinks all of them seems to be nice and kind. But as story progress she realize the dark and somewhat evil story behind them and starts to dislike, even hate them. She is the “Sage of Water” but denies it until very late in the story.
Mike "Mac" McField
He is the “Sage of Earth” and a very calm and preceptive. Mac can be best discriped as the eye of the storm. Even when thing getting worse he still keeps the hope of the group up. He loves hamburgers and ends the most of his sentences with “you know”.
Dino Sparks
A rich and lonely boy and the “Sage of Fire”. Beside that he is rich he is very kind and helpful to others. It seems that Dino and Mac know each other before the anime started. He carries always a rose in his jacket.
Halca Hepburn
She is Shu's teacher at school but secretly tries to learn more about Legendz. Her mother disappeared when she was very young and some years later her father also disappeared. The only thing she knows is that her father did researches about Legendz. She also realize the dark story behind the Legendz which caused her to hate them but instead like Meg she hates Legendz till almost the very end of the anime.
Shiron the Winddragon:
Shiron is Shu's Legendz. He seems to lost almost all his memories about his past. He constantly tries to regain these memories through most time of the anime. Even Shu is his Sage, Shiron keeps always a distance to him by simply calling him “Kaze no Saga” instead by his name. Even so he protects the kids form harm and is even willing to leave them to keep harm away from them. Shiron as a secondary form which looks like a hampster. He can only say “Ga ga ga” in this form.
Zuou the Bigfoot:
He is a little bit simple minded. He only wants to protec his Sage Meg from harm but his straight forward way to do this and Meg's fear towards Legendz brings him often into unnecessary dangers. But the more Meg tries to keep him away Zuou simply pushed harder to gain her Trust.
Garion the Griffin:
The most time of the Anime it seems that she is sealed within the Sage of Earth, Mac. She seems to be the only one of the four Legendz who knows the whole story behind the Legendz and their past but she always tells only tiny fragments about the whole Story. Garion has a little bit difficult personality. On the one Hand she keeps pushing the other forward to unavoidable destiny of the Legendz to full fill their real purpose but on the other hands she hopes to prevent that this destiny comes true.
Greedo the Blazedragon:
He is Dinos Legendz and beside his rough acting and appearance he has a good heart but he lost his Sage in the past once and tries to denie his feelings for Dino because always fears to lose him too.
Ranshiin the Winddragon:
He is the unofficial CEO of the Dark Wiz Company because he always bullies the CEO around even though he doesn't really care about the Company. At first Ranshiin appears to be a evil guy who wants to rule the world together with that his dark and cold calculating and somewhat insane behaviour. On the first look Ranshiin seems to be like Shiron's brother. But different than Shiron he also knows the whole Story behind the Legendz. He also seems to have a special interest to capture Shiron.
Of course I could tell a lot more about the Characters but everything else would spoiler to much of the epicness of the story.
Reasons why this Anime never got a second Season sadly:
First as I already told you the anime could be misinterpreted as Digimon Clone.
Secondly the drawing style of the Humans. They are all looking goofy and somewhat ridiculous. Many people didn't realize that the Humans with exception of 3 playing only side roles. It's a story about the Legendz.
They is also a Manga which is awsome too. I ordered all 4 Books at once. Yeah sadly the Manag is also very short and I had to force myself to stop reading. XD
Beside that there is also a a PlayStation 2 and 2 Game Boy Advance games but they sadly never made it out of Japan.
Why YOU should watch the Anime:
1. Epic Characters. I don't talks about the humans.
2. Epic Story. Even the Story starts slow and built tension up in the middle and it goes completely apeshit towards the end.
3. Even within all the seriousness of the Story there is always some space left for some ridiculous funny jokes.
4. Believe if I say that there will be at last one Character your gonna love.
With all that Legendz suffers the same problem D-Drive does suffer.
