Merry Christmas! (+2025 review)
General | Posted 2 months ago2025 have come and gone and here we are, near the end of the year.
Been a year, alright. Deaths in the family (I am officially out of grandparents now :c), surgeries and friends lost.
But it isn't all doom and gloom. I've been hunting to buy an apartment cause I got plenty of money saved up now (even if the market is bad for it) and I've managed to complete last year's promise of drawing a full piece (aka colored and linearted) every month. I've bought a bunch of commissions even if I'd have liked to buy more.
Even if there's no indication of how good or bad a year 2026 will be, I'll try to be positive about it.
Anyway! Merry Christmas to everyone! Doubly so for those that read this journal!

General | Posted a year agoMay 2025 be a year to remember, for the good things that might happen.
Merry Christmas
General | Posted a year agoHope everyone will have a good time.
Kudos the FA Team
General | Posted a year agoAnd of course everyone else involved getting FurAffinity back to it's rightful owners.
RIP Dragoneer
General | Posted a year agoMe personally have never interacted with 'em but I've been using FA for quite a while and met a lot of cool artists with great art thanks to the website.
From all the other journals popping up all over the site and on other websites, it's clear that he himself and FA itself both were great boons in the community for many people.
All I can hope for is that you're having a better time where you are now than you did here.

Update
General | Posted 4 years agoNot dead or gone or anything, just not as active as I should be.
I am most active over on deviantART but that's about it.

Inactive but not Dead
General | Posted 8 years agoSo, like, I have kinda not been in the mood for drawing in quite some time now.
Sadly this has resulted in a more infrequent length of time between each submission.
I just wanted people to know, in case anyone was wondering (which I doubt).

Merry Christmas, Everyone!
General | Posted 10 years agoMan, been three years since I updated my journal.
This is a good time to update.
Merry Christmas, everyone! And let's celebrate the new year while we are at it.

The Images
General | Posted 13 years agoThey are telling me to draw.
So I bring forth my tablet and pen. Open photoshop and stare at the blank canvas for over 45 minutes then I just exit photoshop.
It doesn't feel like its getting better. Perhaps this is the end of my drawing "career".
It wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't for the hundreds of ideas I got swirling around in my head, waiting to get drawn.

Anger and Drawing goes Hand in Hand
General | Posted 14 years agoFinally got my wacom working on my new computer, got my hands on a cracked copy of Photoshop CS3 (I am a pirate, yarrr!) and started drawing.
About 2 hours after starting, I got my linework done (I am a really, really slow drawer) and planned on starting the coloring.
Imported an image for a color sample but managed to put it in a layer, in which my linework where, and instead of doing your professional CTRL+Z, I went for the X mark and quit without saving the changes to my work.
And since I hadn't saved anything before that, I lost everything I'd worked on. Now I am mad. But I have started the linework again, SAVED IT FOR SCIENCE, and will hopefully complete and upload it tonight. Nothing fancy though, just your average se05239-level crap.

Inactive due to Artblock
General | Posted 16 years agoArtblocks sneaks up on you like a ninja and hit you like a sledgehammer into the face, now I am trying to counter the hammer by forced drawing.
Happy Birthday to me....

Fresh from dA
General | Posted 16 years agoDecided to test FA out.
See if it is worth being here.
Probably is. I do not know.
We will see.
