This day is important. I cried today.

Welcome, dear reader, to the beginning of something that has been swimming around in my to-do list for years. Journals are awkward to begin but once started I find the best way to articulate my feelings and keep myself sane is to write them.
To truly begin it is necessary for one to know a bit about the mind attached to the fingers which convey these messages to no one.
This one was born far away from where it takes up residence now. Home is long gone.. that concept died when the move first occurred. If home is where the heart is what of the heartless? Do we not feel at home because we haven't a heart.. or do we lack a heart because there is no end to the homesickness. Warm breath and strong arms.. comforting smile and caring personality. These things are home.
A suitable beginning.. Here's to a weekend of rollercoasters and spotted cats.
